Some people had negative reports about them but I thought they were great. The power line used to go from the roof of the house to the roof of the garage. We put a new roof on the garage and needed to have the power line moved. We had people who wanted to have it mapped and do all kinds of stuff and we got bids for over $1000 which was ridiculous. The electrician from Bell agreed that it wasn?t necessary to do all the extra work and they came out and moved it in a day and were able to make it look nice and it was half the price of all the estimates that I got.

They do good work and their prices are good.

They were punctual for the servicing. They are very friendly and courteous. It was obvious to me that they knew what they were doing. The staff on the phone was very friendly and professional.

It was good and on time. I have also reccommended them to a friend who uses them now.

The electric plug they have they installed now was worse. They also broke the large glass casing over the light fixture. The gentleman that came to my home was rude and disrespectful. The first thing he said when he walked in was, " I have to pee. And I sometimes pee all over the floor." I think he thought that was funny. They didn't do a good job and I do not recommend this company. When they broke the fixture they neglected to even tell me.

They did a pretty good job. The only problem was I had a problem with the plug it wouldn't work right. So I called them & they came back out & fixed it but they charged me for it which I didn't think was right. I would not hire them again in the future.

They did arrive on time for the job. They were kind and polite and very easy to work with. They did do quality work and I am always happy with the work that they do.

Work went well at time. However, 3 years later sent bill for job claiming they were never paid. No contact from company in the past 3 years saying they were not paid. Payment was required at the time the work was completed. In order to provide a copy of the check showing payment I will have to pay the bank a service charge. Because of the time and cost due to their sloppy bookkeeping, I would not recommend this company.

Everything was excellent. They also installed a new switch for our garage by our front door because the only way we could open it was from the basement. They put a new outside, weather proof outlet in. They're very nice, courteous, and always cleaned up after themselves.

Bell electric was hired to install a new electrical service for a home business/new building on our farm. They quoted me a price of $3300. They arrived, late, dug a trench. In the process of digging the trench, they cut through our telephone line twice, our electric to our well pump, our sump pump discharge pipe was sliced in two, as well as busting two posts to our horse fence. All of which we are continuing to have problems with. We have not been able to use our home telephone for months now because of the terrible connection it now has. As I write this, I have no water in my home as the breaker keeps flipping because of a bad splice. The entire project was supposed to take a week. Three weeks later, we were still waiting for them to finish. Once they got the service in place, the Delaware County Inspector came out and said it failed and that it was obvious mistakes. I had to have Bell Electric come out again! Needless to say, this took another week. On top of all of this, once the service was in place, I was given a bill for $7000 not $3300 with no warning at all! Bell Electric also waited six weeks before they contacted the Delaware County Inspector from the beginning. The inspector said they had to have a call from the contractor not me. Approximately six weeks to two months later, I received a telephone call from the owner, John, asking why I did not pay my bill. I informed him that I had and provided him with a copy of the canceled check. Upon this conversation, I also explained my continued problems here at my home that were a direct result of Bell Electrics work, specifically, Brian Noble. He informed me that Brian was no longer working there. That he had embezzled funds from the company, stolen the company credit card and made illegal charges. John informed me that Brian Noble had stolen my funds and that he showed my invoice as open and due. John informed me that the police were involved and that his insurance company would be in contact with me to not only help with a refund of my owed funds, but also with the damage that was caused and was continuing to give us problems. No surprise, I have not heard from anyone. Here it is August 2008 and we are still in the same situation. I am owed money and repairs. Since all of these problems, I have had to pay someone else to attempt to fix our water with no luck. I paid for the posts myself, although Brian Noble did put them in the ground. I would like to warn everyone not to use this company. Do not end up like I have. We hired them because of their excellent ratings on Angie's List. They have not proven to have deserved those ratings in my honest opinion. At this point, we feel we have no choice but to contact an attorney. We had the same technician that we had a year ago. They did a good job.

I spoke to the owner of the company and he agrees with me that I paid a little too much and that he would refund me at least 40 dollars and he didn't follow up on that. The owner talked the talk and said he wanted to do business right, but did not back any of the work up. The technician that came was unprepared and slow, but the dryer does work. I wouldn't use them again.

They were very friendly when they were there. They were very professional about the job. They had showed up on time to do the work for me.

VERY BAD. WORKMAN WAS TOTALLY UN-EQUIPPED EVEN THOUGH I DESCRIBED WHEN MAKING THE APPOINTMENT WHAT WAS NEEDED. HE SAID HE DID NOT HAVE ANY ELECTRICAL SINGLE BOXES IN TRUCK, SO THEY INSTALLED DOUBLE OUTLET IN MY LIVING ROOM. "BRIAN" SEEMED ARGUMENTATIVE AND UNQUALIFIED. ON COMPLETION DEMANDED PAYMENT IN FULL WHICH THEY DID NOT TELL ME ABOUT AHEAD OF TIME. INVOICE STATED COST OF $190 WHICH I FELT VERY HIGH FOR WORK DONE. WHEN CHARGE APPEARED ON MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT WAS FOR $124. I CALLED THE COMPANY AND "BRIAN" ANSWERED, GOT RUN AROUND AND FINLAY GOT A HOLD OF THE OWNER "JOHN." JOHN SAID HE WILL CHECK INTO IT AND LET ME KNOW.

Two of their reps (one was named Brian) came on a Saturday and did the job. Seemed to go well and I was pleased with the end result. I had another company come several months later (Efficient Electric) to give me a quote on some other items and they pointed out that Bell Electric didn't follow through on the job by having the City of Columbus electrical inspector come to inspect the work and put a sticker on the box along with crimping the temporary wires on the outside of the house. They never pulled a permit to have it inspected. It has been a fiasco ever since! John Dwyer, the owner is evidently suing this Brian guy who embezzled money from the company. (In the course of trying to get the inspection scheduled he shared this information - which I really didn't need to hear.) The company seems to be run out of someones house and they can't seem to manage to get the electrical inspection completed. This has gone on for a month. I originally hired Bell from Angie's List (they were an "A") and now they don't even appear here. They suck! Don't use them - they are a bunch of incompetent drama queens and I am about ready to call the BBB.

The electricians arrived on time and went straight to their work completing each of the tasks with care and skill. There was no need to do any repair to drywall with the installation of the new outlets. They were very neat and respectful of our home. All of these jobs were completed in one day. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work and feel quite certain that we can call upon the electricians at Bell Electric to do an excellent job for a fair price. We needed some follow-up electrical work when remodeling our kitchen. We needed a dedicated line for the above-the-stove microwave. I called Bell explaining we needed someone asap and someone was here the next morning. He did an excellent job of not only installing the wire up through the drop ceiling in our finished basement but also installing a wall socket that was flush to the back of our cabinet which did not take up valuable cupboard space. I knew that if I called Bell, we'd have the job completed professional and at a fair price. I would use them again in a heart beat.

All in all it was great experience. The quality was great and they were low in price..a great combination. I interviewed 4 people and after talking to them, I was confident in hiring. There were a few challenges that needed to be over come and they were able to come up with the proper solution...They finished and did a great job.

They were fine. I would use them again for future work.

They did a really good job. We had an inspector come out and they said that the box placement was slightly off, not quite up to code, but not to the point that they were not going to pass the inspection.

They are punctuality and nice.

They said they lost my appointment info and never showed up. I had to keep calling them to set up an appointment. They were having some receptionist issues so I'm sure if I were to use them again in the future that won't be a problem.

Brian R. listened to the problem. We have had outlets continue to go out over the last two years. He carefully checked all of our outlets discovering that we had even more out than we thought. He fixed all of the outlets. They were very thorough.

They were polite and on time and courteous throughout the job. I needed them to come back to fix a light that continued to not work. There were issues with the follow up communication. Ultimately I had someone else do the follow-up work.

The technicians were to be at the house a 0900. They called at 0830 an said they were running late, they had to go to three different suppliers. When they arrived, there were two persons to start the project of taking out the old circuit breaker box and replace with a larger (200 amp) box. They said the job would take about six hours and it did. We were well satisfied with the job they did and the personnel that performed the job.
