Dorel installed new wood flooring in part of our house and repaired and refinished the wood floors in the rest of it. He has done excellent work for us. He arrived on time, worked efficiently, and the floors now look fantastic. I highly recommend him for any sort of work involving wood floors. He really knows what he's doing.

I am a general contractor who has built over fifty custom homes. I met Dorel, the owner of Bello Hardwood Flooring, over 20 years ago when he did work at my personal home. I found him to be one of the best in the hardwood flooring business. Included in that opinion is he is equally good at installing vinyl flooring. The first job he did for me was an old school, finish in place, oak hardwood, side nailed floor in my home. The job included a 24X26 family room, dining room, kitchen, nook, laundry room, pantry, and 1/2 bath. Every square inch we absolutely perfect. Subsequently, I have recommend Dorel to many people, including both of my daughters, where he installed pre-finish hardwood in their houses. They both raved about his work. He is an accountable, one man band who takes great pride in every job he installs. Occasionally his very polite and enthusiast 18 year old son, Seth, will assist him. Dorel and his son did a beautiful job refinishing our hardwood floors. In addition they repaired an area seamlessly where we took out a fireplace bench, and they added new hardwood to other rooms. They were prompt, professional, stayed on budget and the new/improved floors look great!

We worked with Dorel completely remotely, and the process went smoothly from start to finish. Communication was clear and consistent. He completed the measurements, provided an accurate estimate, explained the materials needed, and the scheduling worked out without any issues. Once the installation began, he shared daily updates, which made it easy for us to follow the progress even though we weren?t on site. The installation was done with solid attention to detail. The flooring is clean and precise throughout the rooms, the transitions to tile and carpet are handled well, and the stair work looks smooth and properly aligned. The overall cleanup was also done well. We?re very satisfied with how everything turned out and would recommend Dorel for flooring installation projects.

Dorel was excellent to work with. When he first came out to quote the job he took the time to talk through all the options with me instead of choosing how he wanted it done (I already had the flooring and trim onsite). He gave great advice and was able to schedule the job quickly. He was very professional and kept the work area clean even during tear out of multiple layers of old cork and vinyl flooring (which was a tough job). The final install turned out amazing. He leveled the floors well and the there is no noise walking on the floor. He regularly checked in and sent pictures of how the tear and install was going. I will highly recommend him to family and friends in the future!

Due to extensive water damage, flooring and particle board had to be completely removed. DOREL OF BELLO FLOORING was very efficient, fast and amazing with the cleanup! Dorel and his son were amazing. Communicated the estimate clearly. Completed the project in a timely manner on our schedule with a house remodel. Extremely clean and detailed, and gave multiple samples of stain options. Divided the job into 2 phases so that we could remain in the house. First phase install new floors in primary bedroom. Second phase refinished existing oak floor. The finished project turned out better than ever imagined. Gave new life to a 1990s yellow stain, and the new floors in the primary bedroom match nearly flawless. Would absolutely hire again. It will be the best decision you make with your floors, and felt so reasonable for the investment.

Had Bello Flooring remove 24 year old tile from the entryway and hallway and linoleum from the kitchen. Then engineered hardwood flooring was installed. It looks fabulous! I especially appreciated that they moved the heavy furniture and returned it to place once the work was done. Even better, we left for most of the time they were working. Came recommended by a good friend, so went with them without comparing prices. I was pleased with the overall price as well.

He worked closely with us as we were choosing which product to install in our home, providing us with pros and cons of different material based on his extensive background installing different flooring. Once the project started, Dorel communicated with us every day so we knew what to expect and showed up on time every single day he was working in our house. It was helpful for us to know when Dorel said he’d be here at a certain time that he was here at that time every time. We were also super appreciative of how protective of the flooring Dorel was during install. We were remodeling our kitchen and when the counter installer showed up he quickly placed a protective barrier over the floor so the counter installers wouldn’t damage our floors. We really liked how proactive he was in that situation and overall we really enjoyed working with Dorel and Bello Hardwood. We would highly recommend Dorel to anyone. His craftsmanship and work ethic exceeded expectations and we are happy with the finished job.
