We are a locally owned and operated company who take pride in everything we do. Our commitment is to provide professional and friendly on-time service. Whether you are remodeling, need a repair, or just have a leaky faucet, our plumbing experts can help you with your plumbing needs. We are a relatively small company with 4 plumbers and 2 office personnel. We're small enough to offer personable service to you yet large enough to be able to serve you when you need us. We answer our phones 24/7 at our office and after-hours through our national Ben Franklin Call Center. For those larger projects and equipment installations we offer a couple of financing options for your convenience.

They are prompt and they are polite. One guy did my toilet and other guy did the sink and the kitchen. I was happy with their work.

I used Ben Franklin. I think what they do is send out different plumbers on their list. The first one was a bummer. he ripped me off and overcharged. The next time they sent out a different plumber who was an older man. When he heard about my first experience, He got on the phone and called the company, when they finished the job they took off $400 off of my bill. If I could have that man every time. The first guy totally overcharged me. <br /> <br /> I have some more things to have done, but don't know if I can afford it. I wish I could have the second guy who came out. I would consider using them again. <br /> <br /> The price kind of sting me, the faucet was very expensive. I think thats why the nd plumber called and got me the refund. He used the fair price guarantee. I think $600 for a kitchen faucet is kind of steep myself. Thats one of the things I complained about to the nd plumber. One of the things being advertised being AL they were going to replace an outside faucet for $79 and the first guy charged me almost $300. <br /> <br /> If Benjamin is just working with several plumbers in my area and they see who is available at the time in my zip code, Unless they have vetted the people themselves personally and know what they are going to do, it isn't such a great deal. <br /> <br /> They did the work I asked, just the pricing between the 2 different plumbers were a bummer. <br /> <br /> I thought $1353 was excessive, replacing an outside water faucet, routing out the pipes from 2 sinks. They told me they couldn't clean out the existing faucet enough for it to work, so I bought the faucet he had in the truck. <br /> <br /> My nd experience was great, came out in time. For professionalism, the first plumber was overcharging but the second plumber was fair and was good for retired people. <br /> <br /> <br />

Do not hire this company. My home warrantee company sent them out to jet a sewer clog. They came out 2 days in a row, marked the clog (which was near the street, under a sidewalk, next to a streetlight, and on my neighbor’s property) They quoted me almost $8,000 to replace a sewer line including tearing up the sidewalk and repouring it. I told the guy that for $8,000 I would need to get other estimates. He said they could finance me and if I agreed to finance it that night or the next day, that although they had 3 or 4 other jobs lined up, they could squeeze me in the following week. I agreed to see if I could get pre-approved for the financing but I knew I needed to get other estimates. When I called to get a quote from Poor John's Plumbing, the guy told me right away that I probably would not have to pay for it. Since the broken line was within 12 feet of the easement, the city pays for all repairs. Not only that but Poor John's Plumbing called the sewer department for me and had them out the next day to confirm that I would not have to pay for the repairs. Even worse is that the City said that they wouldn’t have let anyone else fix the sewer because of the streetlight and other utilities near the clog. The City said that if I had let Benjamin Franklin start the work and anything went wrong, I would have been liable. So, in my opinion, either Benjamin Franklin is incompetent for not knowing that since the clog was within 12 feet of the easement, it was the city's responsibility or they tried to get me to pay $8,000 for a repair they shouldn’t have made. Also, they didn’t like my previous review so they had their attorney send me a cease and desist letter threatening to sue me if I didn’t take it down. Their attorney also called my employer. Apparently she said it was because I had used my work email to respond to Benjamin Franklin but it is my opinion that she was trying to get me in trouble at work. I believe this because this whole situation had nothing to do with my job.

Although the issue with my existing toilet wasn't resolved, the owner was determined to make me a satisfied customer. She cut me a deal I couldn't refuse. I was happy and the problem toilet has left my house.

James was the person that came out he was very polite and did an awesome job the only problem I had was I had to call them after I set up the appointment on the website no one ever contacted me I had to call them to set up another appointment ....

We scheduled for Monday. We knew that all of the water in the house would have to be off for at least a day. They called Monday morning at 8 to reschedule as they told us that they were working on the Friday job still. We were ok with that. They got here Tuesday and went straight to work. They took all day, which was expected. They cleaned up after themselves. The shower drip is gone. They left the bathroom dirty and the cold water is hard to turn on and off. Overall, we are happy with their work.

I still have a leak so the service was not so good. They charged me an additional amount. The best part was that the guy was friendly, except he had an opinion about everything that I had wrong in my home, and the worst is that I still have a drip. He fixed it, there wasn't a drip until 2 days later, so I don't consider that a fix. There was a service charge for them to come and look at it, and since it was a certain day, apparently it was double of what it was supposed to be. That wasn't clear in the deal, and so that was additional to the P trap having to be replaced. The work that he did took 15 minutes, and the part was for $12 in the store. They were real quick on getting back to me, so that was good. I would not use them unless they came out and fixed the leak for free.
