Perfect, excellent, couldn't have asked for more. (Unless he'd been able to do the gas work that he explained was NOT possible, which I'd much prefer than to have him fake it!) In short I wish every single contractor I need for anything was like him. Not kidding.

I have a service contract where I pay less than $27 per month (includes plumbing and electrical) and can receive up to $500 per visit of repairs with a total of $2,000 per contract year. It is well worth the money. I have a very old house (built late 1800s) which has had a lot of minor plumbing issues which we had delayed having repaired (the house has a lot of old fixtures and pipes). Brendan Roy, Master Plumber, has been the plumber who has done the work at my house on several occasions this past year. He's very personable, professional and does an excellent job. He always arrives during the appointment window, determines the problem and fixes it in a timely manner. On one previous visit, the repair did go over the $500 visit max by $79 but he explained that first (and really, $79 to replace a bathtub drain and several pipes is nothing since the contract covered the rest).
