We successfully obtained an amendment to FEMA's map that took our house out of the high risk flood hazard zone and confirmed the house was in the minimal risk flood hazard zone. The process, timeline and costs were clearly defined in advance. Both the office staff and engineer were professional, very informative, patient, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this company.

The company did everything that they stated and, weather permitting, performed the requisite tasks.

Project went extremely well, from start to finish. The entire staff was quick to respond to questions and make the entire project as seamless as possible.

The gentleman (sorry but I forgot his name), left us know as soon as he arrived. He also explained everything that he was going to do and after his explanation, he asked if we had any questions. He performed the task and when he had finished, once again he left us know that he was done, told us everything he had done and where he had put the stakes so that we knew where the property pins were located, and that he was going to take some pictures and then leave. Again, he asked us if we had any questions. He was very friendly and very professional. I would highly recommend Berks Engineering and Surveying if you need any help.

Great once we worked out a schedule around the rain. They did the job on an off day due to so many cancelled days due to weather. Price came in under bid.

This company was on point in getting back to us in a timely manner and performed the work in a timely manner. This company allowed us to give half of the fee as a retainer and the other half upon completion of the survey. Everything went well!  He got right back to us with a price proposal, we made our choice, he got the marking done as he said he would, and we received the property map not long thereafter. <br />

Dealt with them by email and phone.  Seemed to be reasonable price and did even better when they agreed to add my neighbor's house.  The work went very well, they were very responsive and scheduled work near-term .  Worked with us readily when we requested rescheduling.  Only negative, the fellow doing the survey work was almost 2 hours late, would have liked him to call us with updated arrival time as we needed to be here when he arrived and we had other things that we wanted to do at the time.  So we dinged them a little on punctuality.  <br /> Otherwise we are totally pleased with the work.

There were no issues and I never actually met with the people.  There were no issues with the property line so everything was fine.

<p>   Needed property lines corners and mid points marked for future landscaping wall and fence building work.</p> <p>   Checked Angies"s list for surveying companies in my area. Found Berks Surveying & Engineering, Inc.. Read there reviews and ratings and logged onto there web site.</p> <p>    Filled out there  form with my information and what work I needed to be performed. My email requested was answered super fast  within 1 or 2 days. Not like some companies, even ones with great ratings on Angie's list, communication between me and Berks Surveying was fantastic. Office manage Cindy Cunard-Hogan kept me up to date with emails and phone calls on my work and price request. Price was agreed on. Contract for me to sign was mailed out and I was able to put a deposit on the work using my credit card.</p> <p>   Scope of there work was:</p> <p>1. Court house research, deed analysis and computer calculations. 2. Boundary surveying of tract and locate property corners. 3. Marking of property corners with steel rebar pins and set pins at midpoint on property.</p> <p>    When I notice that corners would be marked with steel rebar, a quick call to Cindy and we both agreed that we need to have the underground gas, sewer, water, cable and electric lines marked before any work started. </p> <p>Called Cindy and told her all lines were marked. She said work would be done within one or two days, weather permitting.</p> <p>   No need to call back over and over again of when work would start, Work was done in 2 days. All property corners and mid point were clearly marked by a wooden stake with pink tag and steel rebar. Our property is a lot larger than I thought, I guess that means we have more grass to cut.</p> <p>My total experience with Berks Surveying EXCELLANT!!!!!!!!!      " 0 problems". </p> <p><br /></p> <p> Work , emails, phone, communications were all FIRST CLASS.</p> <p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <br />

It went very well, they are very professional. They did everything I expected, sent me a contract, and an estimate. They were courteous, did a good job, walked me through everything, and explained what they had done. I would recommend them very highly.
