Berringer's Construction

This company is a sham! We hired him and his children ( employees) to build our new house and they ruined it from the ground up. According to the structural engineer the report that can be provided,* everything from the foundation up needs to be repaired and/or removed before we can move further .The roof line and roof, as well as our breeze way staircase, and barn wall attached to our breezeway, had to be removed (it was a nightmare). We contacted him three times via certified mail with no response, and his only concern was retrieving tools left on our property; in the process of removing the scaffolding attached to our home or wall, they ripped holes in the walls as well. He is a liar, and we are out $30,000 in addition to the $5,000 deposit he kept Now we are hiring a professional to repair our home... This builder also requests weekly draws and will put no money out of pocket up front, allowing him to leave at any time. BEWARE!!!!!!!!! !I wish someone had reported his work on the new construction before our family became trapped in a nightmare.

We hired this him for countertop install. It went wrong from the very beginning. He never ordered the special order laminate, so it was pushed two weeks long from the beginning. We were told this was a 2 to the 3-day job and it took weeks due to it was only him working on our kitchen (he had his daughter help one day). I will be late and I need to reschedule the texts we received. He had another job going on and I guess we were not important enough. Once the laminate was in and he came to our house....he did not sand down the edges of plywood that he kept on from the old tile countertop. He did not sand down the tops either. He laid down an underlayment on the top. Anyway, after a few weeks he finally finished and that same day the edges were coming off as well as bubbles at the top of our countertops (every part of the kitchen countertops). He never filed down edges....the cuts were not straight. He burnt (rubbed) off the laminate on 2 edges and tried covering those spots with paint. I tried to message him. Sent him pictures and videos showing what it was doing and he is now ignoring us. He had no problem taking our money though. Will never use him again nor will my family who has used him in the past as well for flooring. What a waste of our money. Now we have someone else coming to fix all the things he did wrong, and we have to pay for it all over again.
