Beth's Cleaning Service

It was a terrible experience. Nothing was cleaned at the "deep cleaning" level which cost $400. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau, and have pictures of the so called finished product. DO NOT use this cleaning service. Total rip off. <br />

I purchased to services about 2 weeks ago and was told I would be contacted no later than March 25, 2015.  I have called and left messages and to date I have not been contacted and I have not received a return call.

The service was okay. I just felt that it was average. I probably would not use them in the future.

Too expensive for the quality of work <br />

In-laws were coming and I procrastinated badly and there was no way I was getting the place clean in time.  Called Beth and she was able to accommodate me, despite the distance and the time crunch.  They showed up in plenty of time, cleaned the house quickly, and I got compliments on how the place looked.  I'd definitely call Beth again if I find myself in a similar spot. <br />

They clean the whole main level of our home, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. They are prompt and flexible. They are able to change dates when you need them to. Unfortunately, they just do a fair job on the cleaning for the price. If a friend were to ask I wouldn't discourage them from using them but there might be another company that does it for a better price.

We purchased Beth's coupon for a whole house clean. The first cleaning was great they really spent time cleaning our house so we decided to have our home cleaned every two weeks. On the following cleanings there wasn't the attention to detail. On one cleaning they were finished in less than an hour ( we have a 2400 square foot home). If we brought up something that was missed then it was cleaned but we don't have the time to follow someone around and make sure everything was cleaned so we cancelled her services. <br />

I received word from my neighbors today as I arrived home from work that Beth was extremely angry in my driveway as she was leaving. They said she was shouting as she went in and out of my home, yelling that she was fed up that "these customers that can afford this service" kept adding things to her list and that that's why she only "half-a$$es on these types of jobs anyway". This feedback was provided by two separate neighbors - one to the east and one to the west, so it had to have been pretty loud. <br /> <br /> I'm actually pretty disappointed - I've always been happy with the quality of work that I received over the past three months from Beth. I felt like I could probably find the work for a lesser cost (2.5 bathrooms + kitchen and dusting/vacuum/mop remainder of the house) but I was pleased and didn't want to change because I liked the quality of service. Even though I've not had any issues before today, I decided to cancel my business with Beth due to the behavior described today. <br /> <br /> --

We hired this service twice. First, at my new home. She did a decent job, so I hired her again for our old home. We bought a coupon for $50 for $100 of service. The "deep cleaning" took place on Thursday, and my husband paid her $350 on top of the cost of the initial coupon. On Saturday I went over to prepare the house for the next day's open house. I was very disappointed by what I found. Please note that the house was basically empty and I had already had the carpets cleaned. When I went over, the baseboards were filthy, the blinds hadn't been touched, the bathtub and toilet hadn't been cleaned downstairs, the mirrors were smudged, there were cobwebs everywhere. First of all, the Angie's Bonus Deal was very misleading...It gave the impression that you would get a cleaning service that was worth $100 for $50; that the provider was to provide an estimate for the cleaning services; and the ad stated that $100 would be deducted if the estimate was to exceed $100. Unfortunately,the estimate turned out to be very pricey...more than we had anticipated. For us, it was to late to backout because the $50 was already debited from my account before the provider showed up. <br />

She was very helpful. I had a cleaner cancel on me the day the realtor was coming to take photographs, and Beth and her crew came out the same day. They left things looking great! <br />

<p>No straightening to do, everything in it's place, just get rid of dust.</p> <br />

Beth personally oversees her experienced crew as they clean with perfection. Always responsive and timely and flexible with scheduling. I buy and sell houses and have Beth on my speed dial. Do not hesitate to use Beth's Cleaning. Feel free to call me if you have any questions!

I was very satisfied with Beth's Cleaning.  She came out to give me an estimate for a deep clean and set a time to come.  The day prior I received a reminder text.  Beth and her group were on time and very friendly.  I walked them through what I saw as problem areas.  Beth also cleaned my kitchen cabinets and I have not seen them look this good since they were first installed.  Same for the wood floors. I enjoyed having them in my house and was pleased with their work ethics.  I found them to be fast and very capable.  I did a walk through again after they had left taking more time to check things out. All by problems areas were addressed and my home looks wonderful.  I signed up to have them come on a continual basis.. <br /> <br />

I hate to post this, but the stress I endure each time I have had my house cleaned by Beth's compels me to.  When you come home and have to check to make sure they have cleaned when that is what you are paying for it should tell you something. <br /> <br />

They are easy to work with, very professional, and always punctual.

I really liked Beth. She was very personable, and really made me feel that she would put full effort into cleaning the house. And even while the house was being cleaned and it was obvious that it wasn't going well, she remained pleasant. I think that must be why she has so many great ratings, because I can't imagine it is because of her cleaning abilities. In fact, she was so nice that I I hate to write this review, but what is Angie's list for if not to report the quality of work done by a professional?  <br /> I paid for a deep cleaning, but what I received was a surface cleaning, and an incomplete one at that. At one point I wanted to run a quick errand and leave the ladies to their cleaning, but Beth insisted that they were almost done. Since I could casually look around and see that the house was still quite dirty, this surprised me, but I stayed. At this point they had been there only about 4 hours. Then there began a bizarre "quality check", whereby I was asked to go around and determine if the house was clean enough. Every room that I looked in had obvious problems, and when I told Beth, she would then send one of her crew back in to clean. However, in most instances, the job still was not done right. On two occasions, ladies on her crew called her over to indicate that they couldn't get their area clean enough. Beth's response in both cases was "well you can't expect to get all the dirt out on the first cleaning". This surprised me, and in both cases I was able to provide tools (one time an abrasive pad, and one time a specific spray) that allowed the ladies to get the job done right. I knew at that point that Beth wasn't really committed to getting my house clean. And although I really liked the ladies on her crew, none of them  seemed really interested in making my house shine. Beth wanted me to be happy - but what she failed to realize is that what would have made me happy was a clean house! She kept telling me "I"m not leaving until you're happy", but never once (even after I sent her cleaners back in at least 5 times) did she go around HERSELF and decide that the house was good enough. I was extremely tired, having stayed up late the night before decluttering the house so it could easily be cleaned, and having cleaned alongside the ladies all day so finally, totally exhausted  I said it was good enough. But after she left I spent  1 1/2 hours doing more cleaning, trying to make my house look how I had imagined it would when I paid someone $425 to clean it for me. A terrible disappointment. <br />

Deep cleaning of my home.  Beth was very professional and her staff did an excellent job.  I would definitely use her services again.
