"Hello Member - I hope this finds you well and your project moving in a fabulous direction! In doing a thorough cost-benefit analysis of your potential bathroom renovation and other issues, you seemed to find the information to be thorough and helpful, and very economical. In discussing at length and in detail 3 very different ways of doing a major update to your kitchen, the cost-benefit analysis of a complete remodel vs. an update, and detailed suggestions for the materials, sizes, features, and sources of the potential kitchen items, I thought it was an an enjoyable exercise in covering a great deal of ground in very efficient amount of time! I hope this quantity of information wasn't overwhelming to you and that you've been able to give more consideration to which kitchen direction will be right for you. I'm so sorry you found it inconvenient to lend us a measuring tape for your session, or I'd never have suggested you grab yours so that I could continue studying and discussing your kitchen with your partner, rather than going to confirm and fetch my tape out of my bag at the end of the hall. If we meet again in future I might direct you to our email signatures, which explain our "twenty minute window on either side" policy for all meetings. I'm terribly sorry you missed that in our previous correspondences. If we don't get a chance to meet up again, best of luck on completing your project!"
"I'm so glad the colors worked out for you and are going over great with guests!"
"Hi there, I'm glad you found some of the ideas useful and have used them. I'm curious which ones you put into place! I've always wondered if you did the art-moving-dumbwaiter style system that we came up with. I'm surprised to hear you felt there were issues with attitude. I had a great time at our consult, really enjoyed seeing your studio and artwork as well as working with someone who seemed receptive to more unusual design possibilities and creative solutions. As a fellow artist, I thought we were on the same playing field conversational style-wise, and had thought the session felt free-wheeling & fun --- which is what it was meant to be for you. My goal is to never be a 'yes man' when discussing design but to be very frank about my impressions and ideas, since I feel that is what clients are paying me for, rather than just to mirror back all of their existing ideas. In these brief consults I also try to go right to work, not spending a lot of time on polite-speak so we can go over as many ideas as possible in the brief time of the special consult. This would be true regardless of if you had received the discounted or full-price consult, but because of the brevity of the consult time I try to get to as many ideas as possible. It is like a brainstorming session, very rapid fire. For some, this can be disconcerting, and I try to pick up on this when it happens, and slow down. I am sorry I didn't notice this with you. I was happy that were were able to get through fairly significant discussions & suggestions for four completely distinct areas of your home, which is a lot to accomplish in one session, and had hoped this was really useful to you. I'd be happy to hear any further feedback if you wish to email me at be@beTMdesign.com, perhaps I could clear up any misunderstandings. Good luck to you with the remainder of your project."
