He quoted a price when he finished a gave him a grounpon form the price and he thrown a fit and cussed me out. When you tell him you have a groupon he raise the price. This company is bad news.

They're very friendly and nice. They do good work and will give you a very good deal on their services.

The service provider was good at keep in contact with me from estimate to completion of the work. I wasn't on a strict time scale but he finished the work within a week of the estimate. He had forgotten his rake and came back the following day to make sure all branches and debris were removed. He did not excessively try to upsell me, but did answer questions about my future needs (I asked because I don't know much about what I'm supposed to do for my trees). Overall, it was a very good service for a very reasonable price.

Bill was trimming my next door neighbor trees. I asked Bill to provide an estimate to take care of few items in my yard. He stopped by and gave me an estimate. I talked to my neighbor and they were very satisfied with Bill?s work. So, I called Bill next day and scheduled the work to be done. Bill showed up on time and completed the work as he promised. He also did extra work <br /> by chopping the large dead branch into small logs for my fire pit and trimmed few branches of my pine tree to clear out my path way. He cleaned up all tree branches and debris and I appreciated that. I am very pleased with Bill?s work and his professional attitude. I highly recommend Bill. <br />

I had a bad experience with getting this person to come out and chop a tree down. The man finally called and came out and removed the tree. It took them forever to get back with me. They were very nice once they got here. Once they came, I told them that I had a couple of small evergreens come back that I would like them to cut down and they didn't even charge me for those. They said they were not going to charge me because I had to wait so long for them to come out. I thought that was really sweet. I would use them again in future.

Went well...they missed a couple of cut dead limbs that remained up in the tree but overall the job was good. <br />

<p>I purchased a Big Deal for $250 worth of tree service for $99.  The first vendor I tried this with did not show at all, so Angie's List worked with me to find another vendor.  At first, it started out good; Bill Whitley called to say when he was coming for the estimate and he came on time.  The written estimate I received from Bill  indicated they were going to trim 3 trees, for which I paid him an additional $290.00.  We arranged that they would get to my job early the following week.  At the end of the following week, I called Bill and he apologized but that they would be out the following Tuesday.  Someone came that day and trimmed two of my trees, but not the third one.  They left the tree limbs in front of my garage door and in my yard and were nowhere to be found when I got home from work.  The first tree was not touched.  I mistakenly assumed they would be back the following day and cut the remaining limbs on the first tree;  they returned and picked up the cut tree limbs, but did not trim the first tree.  I called Bill and left a message and now it has been three weeks later, and the first tree has still not been trimmed, nor did I receive a call back from Bill explaining the delay.  Meanwhile, he made sure he cashed my check.  On the written estimate to trim this tree, Bill indicated it would be $275.00.  This work has not been completed.  </p> <p>Once again, I am unable to find a reliable tree person on Angie's List.  This will be the last Big Deal I purchase.  And I will never use B and E Tree Service in the future.  </p> <p>During our initial conversation, Bill indicated "they didn't want no F's on Angie's List".  Well Bill, here is your F.  </p> <br />

Bill was in the neighborhood on another job and saw the tree down in my backyard. This happened during the recent storm. There's lots of trees down all around. Bill gave me a quote and I called him back quickly and hired his company for the job. They were at m house within 30 minutes. His crew did an excellent job. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves.

Initially it went well.  Bill and Haley came and surveyed the job and we discussed what needed to be done.  We were told that there would be an extra charge of $140.  The "Big Deal" was $99 for $250 worth of service and that the work would take approximately half a day.  Later, Haley called and told us that the crew was scheduled to come on Monday morning.  I asked for an afternoon time but was told that it would not be possible.   <br /> When Monday came, however, no one showed up until almost 12:00, although I called in the morning to confirm.  At that time, I was assured that the crew would be to my house shortly but had to make a stop at the dump first.  No apologies were given just that they had to dispose of material from work that had been done the previous week.  Both my husband and I would have greatly appreciated a call telling us that the crew would be greatly delayed since we both had to cancel important morning appointments in order to accommodate them.  When they did not show up without warning or apology it was quite disconcerting. <br /> Lastly, when the two workers did appear, they did not have the proper tools to reach the limbs on the upper part of the tree.  We loaned them a ladder but they still were unable to reach all the branches that needed to come down.  They left in 45 minutes time. Obviously, in much less time than the "half day" that we were told the job would require-   The owner,  Bill was not only annoyed and unapologetic when I pointed these things out to him, but ascribed my motives to not wanting to pay him the extra charge of  $140.  <br /> In conclusion, I would like to state that in comparison to other tree services that we have used in the past, B & E faired poorly.  In future, I will go back to the other A rated companies that Angie's List has recommended and that, as an officer of my neighborhood association, I have used in the past to great satisfaction. <br />

I was mostly impressed by Bill and Haley's responsiveness and keeping me informed when the service would be done.  They were prompt and got the job done within a week of contacting them.  They emailed and called to confirm dates and times and did a great job. <br />

Excellent Job - Bill and his crew were very accomodating and taking care of our lot of trees. They do what they said they would cut down, and more. Our lot now has lots of needed sunshine. <br /> the crew cleaned up the debris and branches daily , so cars can go in and out of driveway. <br /> the best part is : they charged us about 1/3 or 1/2 of what a bigger , well-known company was charging us to do a smaller job, with lesser trees. They wanted to establsih themselves, and they certainly did. <br /> Gold Star for Bill and his Crew! <br />

I was able to get an estimate within two days after contacting, after not even getting called back from some companies I was very pleased with their attentiveness.  However, was over an hour late for estimate time, but did call to say he was running behind.  When contacted to schedule, I was told someone would call back with a date/time, but never heard from them until they arrived at my house to do the job.  I prefer to be home when work is occuring, but it was just luck that I was at the time.  Price was the best I received from several companies and I was referred by someone that had used them in the past and liked them.  Service went pretty well, but if you are having something done close to your house I would recommend asking for a bucket truck or other equipment be used.  I had limbs over my roof and when they were cut fell onto my roof.  Luckily, they were small enough not to cause any damage to the roof or my fence which they rolled off onto.  They were very nice, fast, and removed all of the limbs and deadwood. <br />
