BetterBuilt Construction

The estimator was very professional and arrived on time.  They were not the cheapest, but we decided to go the best company not the cheapest.  Based on our research we concluded to go with a real company not just a contractor with a truck and two employees. <br /> They started the job on time and they finished it ahead of schedule.  We had to call them back twice for some additional details and both times they showed up and got the job done.

<p>My wife and I first met Angelo from Better Built Construction, when we were taking bids from approx. 3 different companies.  Angelo was prompt to return phone calls, and showed up for our appointment on time.</p> <p>We received his bid and he was approx. $10,000 lower than the other two bids we received.  We contacted references, and received very good responses from them.</p> <p>We accepted his bid, and the work started on schedule and was done according to schedule and to our specifications.  We are very pleased with the quality of his work and would not hesitate to recommend Better Built Construction to friends and family.</p>

Came on time when they promised.  Did the work as they promised.  Performed as expected (i.e. excellent work)

The team was highly professional in all of the jobs that they did - always able to get in and out within a few days and cleaned up when finished. Having got multiple quotes on some projects I always find Dennis's price to be very reasonable and the best value. I will continue to use Dennis and Better Built and have recommended them to others.

I was very impressed with the work done by BetterBuilt construction throughout the entire project. They started and completed the project within the time frame promised to us. They completed every aspect that was promised according to the estimate give before beginning. They cleaned up thoroughly, removing any evidence of a job being done. They were great to work with and I would definitely hire them in the future.

Nice people timely fair

Very professional and timely.  We had minimal interruption to our day to day life while they were replacing our roof.  The crew was very neat and friendly.

After using an architect to design a new kitchen, we hired BetterBuilt for the construction.  We had used them previously for a new porch, and were happy with the results.  BetterBuilt's price was very competitive - not the cheapest but the quote was more detailed and inclusive.  They included all electrical and plumbing in the quote and also managed the subs.  Work started and ended very close to the original estimate, and they definitely went above and beyond on the building details.  However, I can't give them an A rating due to uneven finish quality, such as wood left unsanded, unfinished edges, sloppy painting etc.  My recommendation would be to hire them for the construction but consider leaving the finish work to another company. <br />

They did an excellent job. The only problem I had was they said the job would commence at the beginning of July and they didn't come out until September. I asked them numerous times and they kept saying they'd be out next week and they didn't show up. I must say that they did do an excellent job. The painters were subcontracted and they were very responsive, but the owner of the company wasn't.

Contractor performed a thorough review of our roofing system and offered a very reasonable estimate to install a completely new roofing system. Initial estimate did not include unknown/damaged plywood squares. Upon removal of roofing shingles, contractor identified a number of rotted plywood squares. The added cost for replacing these squares was notably less than I anticipated. Contractor completed the entire job within a two day period. The crew arrived timely each day, worked their butts off in the heat of the day, took few breaks except for a lunch, completed the job so professionally I received favorable comments from neighbors and some passers-by, meticulously cleaned up after themselves both days on the job, and were respectful/professional during the entire project. I was so impressed with this contractor and his crew I would highly recommend them to those looking for quality and reasonably priced roofing.
