As an Architect (Retired) looking for a Roof Replacement Contractor for my own home, I had only one requirement which was that they do excellent work. After viewing a project by "Better Homes" around the corner from my house, I knew there was no contractor who could even come close to the QUALITY JOB that "Better Homes" was doing. So, they were the Contractor for me and who I selected to replace my Roof. And just as I had evaluated the incredible work they had done on their other project, they did a similar BEAUTUFUL job replacing my roof in only one day. And their incredible work has only inspired me to do more. My eyes along with over 50 years of Architectural experience has determined that "Better Homes" is simply the BEST Home Improvement contractor around! And I am so happy I found them.

Mary Lou was very professional, and her team did a great job on replacing the siding on my house, and within a reasonable length of time. I recommend Better Homes & Siding wholeheartedly.

I am having my home insulated by Lantern Energy today. The men in charge of the project came into the house just having to tell me what a phenomenal job the siding company did. They said they have had to deal with many, many sided homes but have never seen a more professional quality job. Wow! Truly outstanding service. We purchased a 30 year warranty for our roof when we first bought the house and experienced wind damage to two parts of our roof now 17 years later. They understood the scope of the work, were priced fairly, kept the job site clean all the way through, and kept me informed of the progress along the way. The project was done on time and within budget. I'd highly recommend using them.

As a subcontractor for some of the best New Home Builders in CT. for the last 25 years i have been in and out of tens of thousands of new homes. I have seen ok work, cookie cutter work and true craftmanship. This company is true craftsmanship. my home could not have been done better. Was the price up there ,yes ! but you definitely get what you pay for. Alside Prodigy siding ,considered the best siding you can buy if your looking for great energy efficiency improvement on your home as well as beautiful siding with great colors to choose from and combinations of beautiful chosen styles clapboard at the a frames with straight siding and stone veneer at the foundation. Marylou Martino , what an owner, spoke to someone whom she sided 15 years ago and was told if he calls her she will be there. tastefully worked with my wife to end up with a finished product that i was in love with and my extremely happy. Listen Happy Wife Happy Life, what i ended up with is ecstatic wife absolutely awesome life. The crew as professional and experienced as you can get, you can see that they know wat their doing, polite ,clean and unbelievable work. No rush job, measure 3x cut once. Derek the supervisor....wow, 25 years experience, his work looks like 50 years experience, do your self a favor if he suggest something listen and do it. 25 years i have been a subcontractor, i have a pretty good eye for the real deal companies. This is one of them. Do yourself another favor hire them you will not be sorry ! Oh and by the way an energy efficient home improvement qualifies fir a federal 30% tax credit. Better Homes Siding and Improvements is an A+ company. Mary Lou and her crew go way beyond their jobs. They arrive on time, picked up after themselves, very responsible, trustworthy and will do whatever to make the customer happy and satisfied. I recently had an old wooden deck taken off and on new one put on a second floor. I used this company about 6 years ago for siding and 54 windows put in the home. I love the windows and 3 years ago, a new roof which Mary Lou helped with having it replaced. I am so happy with them that I don't ever bother getting prices from other contractors. Don't need to because I know she will go through whatever extremes she and her crew has to for the customer to be happy. She works non- stop including weekends which is unheard of. She is honest and very meticulous in her work and will stop by to make sure the crew is up to her standards. Her crew is unbelievable and their attention to fine details and great ideas are so welcoming. I am now waiting for new doors which Mary Lou has worked endlessly on finding what I wanted and needed. I won't work with anyone else but this company. The best is that Mary Lou stands behind her work and I have called her throughout the years with questions or problems that may have come up. She returns phone calls usually within 24 hours and will meet with you at your convenience.
