The driveway is beautiful and we love the way it looks. The problem was with the drainage. We asked for a drain to be installed to remove large amounts of drainage off the driveway when it rained. The small drain did not work as it was located in an ineffective part of the driveway. At first, when I complained about literal "ponds" in our driveway after a rain, they came and drilled holes in the side of the driveway for drainage. It worked if you were willing to wait for hours for it to drain and then it left a lot of debri on the driveway. For months, I called, sent emails, registered letters and not once did they come to see what was going on or suggest a way to fix it that would work. So needless to say, their customer service is very poor and we cannot recommend this company. They did send a refund for the cost of the drain which was very minimal compared to the total cost. <br /> <br /> In the meantime, we asked a local guy to come look at it. He had a solution, took a couple of days to do (by himself), cost was low and it looks great and WORKS GREAT!!!!

The yard work was fair. My comments/corrections/directions where either ignored or not passed on to the appropriate people. Compared with others the price was good. It appeared that the chemicals were applied but they were not as affective as I would have expected.

Overall we had a very good experience with Bevan's. Chris came out right away and performed an estimate and his bid was itemized and very competitive. We had a few issues actually getting the work scheduled and we wish he had done a better job of keeping in touch as the job was rescheduled numerous times. Once the work began his crew was very professional and efficient. They finished right on time.

I have mixed feelings. An issue happened with our driveway when they were putting in some trees in the back. I do not know whether it is so much for them, I think it’s more for our builder. We have a new house. The builder is going to just now take care of it, but we have a huge hole in our driveway. It is hard for me to say because I think I can never really enjoy this project because of this overhead cost. For most part, it is ok and it is adequate. From price point perspective, he is a lot better than other people I have interviewed in the area. Therefore, for the quality of work and for the price I am pleased with them. The craftmanship is good; our end product, the quality of what he used and the product. Some of our frustration just had to do with the communication, I would come home and he would have maybe altered the plan or things that would not look like what we had initially talked about. He was willing to adjust and fix but it was after we kept telling him. It would have been better had he consulted with us before he moved forward. It has a mix bag. I do not know if I am going to use him again. I think I need to distance a little bit from it and before I recall it will take care.

They are excellent. They were meticulous and did a really great job. When I discovered that something hadn’t settled properly, they came back and fixed it. They were very good. They are fairly priced. I would use them again in the future if need be.

They did very satisfactory work. I spent $600 to $700 on that job. They were fair and did quality work. They were reasonable priced.

They were okay. They did a good job. I was not pleased with what was left. They seemed to be in a hurry and there was still some snow underground when they left. I had a lot of clean up to do. I got two different messages from two different people there regarding sealing the sidewalk. One guy said to wait so many months, while the other guy said that it should be done right away. So we ended up waiting and then when we called them to do it, they said that it should have been done earlier because now it was all stained.

LOUSY. Driveway - There was a big gap left between the old driveway and the new piece. Holes were left in the seam, and they even sealed in a leaf into the new driveway part. We had to demand that they come back and fix it because they were not going to - they insisted it looked "fine". I hired Bevans, but they subcontracted our paving out to Pro-Seal, who I did NOT hire. Hillside - I was very clear on what type of grade I wanted. I stood in the front yard with both the owner and foreman and told them what kind of grade I wanted on the hillside, they quoted me a price based on this, and then after removing the trees and grass from the hillside, they told me the grade I wanted wasn't possible and would require different equipment and more money. The sod they put down was two different types of grass mixed in with no particular order. We have watered it every day for a week, and one of the types of grass has died while the other is nice and green - we now have a checkerboard lawn.

"We did an inital walk throught with the member 3 times prior to the work being completed. On site, customer advised us to dump excess dirt in back yard, we did that. Member advised us of concern around dirt not being graded into back yard. We then graded it and put sod down over any disturbed areas. Cust was on site and stated she was very happy and looked great. Driveway concern was that we put a rubber striping into the driveway for the added extension piece. This way we could warrenty the driveway and ensure that it lasted. Member advised us she did not like it, on the way to fix it and feather the driveway in, she emailed and told us she was ok with it. We then resealed the entire driveway at no charge to ensure she was happy and we went above expectations. Sod, was from local farm in ashland. Sod was delivered to site, customer was home and walked through everything. Stated "I love it and it looks great". We then overseeded the entire property, and left extra seed for the customer should any issues come up. Member was email 2 days prior to us coming out to have sprinklers on site so that we can ensure everything is set up to water sod, no sprinklers on site and very hot day. Member stated that she would go later that night and get sprinklers, this was at 2pm in afternoon on 90 degree day. Customer called me about dead spots in grass and I offered to come by and check out situation, also asked why comments in person where so different then craigslist report. Customer then told us not to call her anymore and they have it now. Stated to her that we have no problem fixing anything that is wrong and making it right, she stated no!"

Bevans Landscaping does a very professional job on my lawn. The first time they came they did miss part of my lawn in error not knowing where the property line ended, but since then it has been explained to them they do get it all. They are very polite when they come out. I have little cleanup when they leave. They do spot seeding when necessary. After they have been out, someone from the company always calls to make sure I am satisfied with the work.

Bevans Landscaping did a great job on all the projects in our yard. I was very happy with the results. It all looks great. The workers were friendly and concerned with quality. The job was done when expected. I don t know the price exactly but I did think it was reasonable. I would recommend them to others.

Bevan's Landscaping did a very good job. Their staff was very courteous and nice. They were hard working; they went right to work and got the job done quickly. They really knew what they were doing. The drain has worked wonderfully. The sod looked great.

Everyone that comes out is very friendly and will do anything you ask them to. They take their time to make sure everything looks wonderful and is done correctly. Since we have been using them our garden and yard has been flourishing.
