Twin Wood Artisans specializes in antique restoring, table top refinishing, restoring damaged chairs and woodwork, precision sanding, meticulous staining, and applying customized finishes that meet your exact specifications. We protect outdoor furniture and assembly. We take pride in showcasing our craftsmanship expertise while delivering exceptional service. In addition to our core services, we offer a range of other solutions, including custom furniture restoration, painting, kitchen cabinet refinishing, Ribbon Caning, and varnishing Teak wood among many other services. We're happy to do consultation visits.

We have received excellent customer satisfaction from the several projects (for wood, painting and wrought iron) done for us by Twin Wood Artisans Stain & Shine. While their workmanship has been top notch, the customer relationship has been wonderful, too. For example, they are good listeners, keep their appointments, call if they are delayed in traffic, and even drop off touch-up paint to remedy any future needs. Our handmade toy chest was in need of both repair and restoration. Steve and Mike did a thorough job, giving this piece a complete makeover. It turned out beautifully: see the photo. Steve suggested the new finish that is showcasing the wood grain much better than before, nicely framing the carved panel. Everything is now sealed and water resistant! The result is great, like getting a brand new chest. Recommended!

I hired twin wood artisans stain and shine for two jobs on two separate occasions because I was so satisfied with the work they did. The first job was to strip, refinish and paint a 4 piece dresser set and a separate chest of drawers. They picked the furniture up from my home and delivered it when done. The job they did on those pieces was nothing short of outstanding. The furniture was over 25 years old and they brought it back to life. All of my friends and family were in awe.
I more recently hired them to design custom stair rails, and again they knocked it out the park. They are creative, friendly, experienced and professional master carpenter artisans that I highly recommend.

Cindy with Westchester Furniture did an amazing job refinishing an Ethan Allen coffee table that was solid wood, but the finish made it look dated, and it no longer worked with our space after a remodel. She helped with suggestions for the finish, kept me informed of her progress, and did a beautiful job. The table turned out gorgeous.

I was very pleased with how my wooden kitchen table was refinished and repaired. The stains that were on the top were completely removed. The chairs were repaired and strengthen. The table set was returned to me and looked brand new . My husband gave Steve some antique silver pieces to be repaired and polished. The pieces were very delicate and had small, fine details. Every little nook was carefully cleaned. We were amazed with how beautiful each piece was returned. Steve was very professional and a pleasure to work with, we would highly recommend this company.

It is rare to find a business like Twin Bros. Handeyman Services. Run by brothers Mike and Steve Smith, they provide a broad range of services for the home from simple projects to those that require significant skill sets. I have worked with Mike and Steve on various projects, including restoring my damaged antique family furniture to look as good as new, hanging large pictures on my walls, and multiple smaller jobs around the house. Their work has been exceptional, and I plan on continuing working with them on other home projects in the future. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Twin Brothers Handymen Services for their excellent service and spectacular results.
