We had A-Plus Roofing strip and replace all the shingles on our house back in August. They did a great job! They came out when we setup the appointment for an estimate and were very through making sure I knew everything that would be done. <br /> We made the appointment and they started on the day promised. The crew was very nice and courteous left our place neat and clean at then end of each day and when they were done you wouldn't have even known they were here except our roof looked great. This was a pretty complex job as we have a very large Gambrel roof with a ton of angels. They were professional and timely. <br /> On a side note....We had a problem with our garage roof - which needs to be re-shingled in the next few years. I called them they came right out and gave us a fix to get us through until we can get this roof done. They will get the call when we're ready. We couldn't be any happier with their work!! <br />

Based on what I know now, Bob Scammon cut every corner he could and did everything possible wrong when he re-shingled my roof. I am now looking at a bill of over $20,000 to fix the water, moisture and other damage caused by his shoddy work. You should avoid this man and any company he is associated with. Don't let him near your house. I called him earlier today to talk about this and he hung up on me, so he is still the arrogant SOB I dealt with back then.

Bob Scammons is a great guy and follows through on his promises. His crew was fast and efficient, and they installed the new roof quickly (and quietly--I worked at home). The left the yard clean. The roof looks fantastic. Bob's price was significantly lower than other estimates I received, and I trusted his judgement. He checked on his crew every day, and was quick to respond to my phone calls and emails during a very busy time in his schedule. <br />

It went great, lotsa racket lol! Had to put the fur babies into boarding as they were traumatized by the noise. The roof looks great and they cleaned up everything! Great Job! <br />

After he called to say the work was done, both roofs leaked in the same places as before during the first heavy rain. I called, and he came out to look--again when I wasn't there. No satisfaction. I have called and called. Most of the time he doesn't answer the phone and he does not return my calls. Both roofs continue to leak, one into my back entry way, and water comes down my office and kitchen walls during a heavy rain and all winter--exactly the problem I had before the roofs were"fixed." After numerous phone calls, I sent him a letter last summer, asking him to call me: <br /> "Mr Scammons: Your company fixed two small areas of my roof during the <br /> summer of 2013 because of leaks I had been experiencing. You stated at the time <br /> that you knew I?d be happy with the results, and that you would stand by your <br /> work if there were any problems. <br /> I have had some problems, and have called you several times. <br /> Over the winter, I had water running down my kitchen wall, the same as previous <br /> to your work on the roof that connects with the house in that location. I <br /> pointed out a small place at the edge where the roof has sunk down. It took <br /> several calls to get you here. When you came you said that your crew would be <br /> here either Tuesday or Wednesday?two weeks ago. I stayed home both days, and no <br /> one showed up." <br /> No response. <br /> At some point in the fall, I was able to reach him again. He came to the house, again without an appointment, and when I wasn't home. He didn't call me back, but I reached him once more. He said that the ice and water shield on the roof he looked at wasn't his product, so they were only hired to do one of the roofs. I cited the contract I had for repair of TWO roofs. Again, I wasn't here the day the work was done, so I have NO idea what, if anything, really was done. <br /> I have made MANY attempts to contact A+ Roofing again, and finally did have a phone call answered on 3/30/15. I asked him to make an appointment to meet with me. He agreed to come out to the house either April 2 or 3. I agreed to be home either day, except for a short appointment on Thursday. I changed the appointment, and called (no answer) Wednesday and left a message that I'd be home all day Thursday. No response. I called twice on Thursday to say I was waiting for him to arrive. No answer, no return call. I stayed home all day Friday, called and left messages again. No answer, no return call. <br /> <br />

"I am sorry she feels this way. I have been down there numerous times to try to take care of the problem the problem is that the roof construction is starting to SAG down and . The siding and the windows at edge of roof is rotten water is getting around windows inside I have gone down there and try to fix around windows and siding which would not even my problem I can try to help but it needs to be fixed with new trim and window you call me many times I did go down I explain to you what was going on but you still blame me for this I have gone way beyond what the contract was for I really tried to stop the water but the structure needs to be tightened so water does not get in I apologize for the way you feel I really try hard to please all customers but sometimes it's not really my fault and I hope you can get dissolved Bob and a partial anything I can do please call I did not get back to You because My 84-year-old mom had a stroke emergency"

They did the whole job in two days. They were on time, and left no mess anywhere. The workmanship was superb. The price was fair and Bob the owner was great to work with. You could not ask for a better contractor.

The job went very well, tarps were used to catch old shingles. All rubble was cleaned up and all work areas were cleaned . Job was completed at estimated price. <br />
