They brought several people and they only stayed for one hour. I wasn't aware that that wasn't the case. They didn't get a lot done. I felt like I was misled. I had a long list of things to do that would take 4 hours. They just brought a lot of people and did 3 or 4 things on my list. I wouldn't pay more. They said they could stay longer and do more things but I had to pay more. The guys were fine. I would tell family and friends not to do it.

I don't recall.... I'm just sick of Angie's List bugging me about this so I'm putting in a bogus review to make it go away....after I asked them to take it off my account, several times. <br />

They did good. They did aeration and overseeding for us. They came on a day that was scheduled. I didn't have any issues. I wished they applied more seeds. They missed a few spots. They could have been more careful and covered everything. They left the work area pretty decent. There were a few muddy spots, which was to be expected.

Provider contacted me quickly.  They did a great job while here.  I found the owner to be personable and knowledgeable.  I wanted to hire them to do more but he never returned my phone calls. <br />

I like them but he did tell me that he would come back the next week but he never came back.

They did some work on my son's property and the work they did was the best I've ever seen. So I hired them for myself, because they were so phenomenal. They cost quite a bit more and their price was not what they said it was going to be. They delayed me three times. They came and honestly almost did nothing. My grandmother was there and cleared a flower bed in 10 minutes and they couldn't clear a similar one in an hour. They said it was impossible, but I had someone else to come and do it later for $100. They were very disappointing. They were hard to get ahold of. They were useless and really just robbed me. I couldn't believe it. I paid $60 for nothing.

The company did a decent job in terms of the quality of work.  However, it was very difficult getting them to come out and finish the project, and they were very mean during our discussions.

We did a monthly service with them through the winter and early summer months.

The service was good. We did not have any additional cost on top of the big deal. They do real nice work, but they are a little hard to get a hold of sometimes.

Trimmed trees.  Left huge piles of branches in street.  Said it would be picked up by city.  Said it would cost me more if I had skyline remove branches.  City wouldn't pick up, had to pay city $150.00.  When skyline was finished the charge was $225.00.  When I paid them I made a mistake and paid $270.  When I discovered my error I called skyline and they did not return my call for more than a week. They said they were on vacation and would refund the overpayment.  I have called several times since November and they never pick up.  Emails come back undeliverable.  I have given up.  Chalk it up to lesson learned.  My recommendation is never use this company. <br />

It did not go well. I didn't keep them. We had problems with them actually doing the quality of work. They barely did anything in that package. I had to call them back out and have a very tough discussion with them. They said they would repair and finish the work as long as we didn't report it to Angie's List. I would never hire them again. In fact they were very rude. It surprised me because they were on Angie's List. My kids do better job than that when they were out there helping me. It was very very poor work. The price was way too high for the work that they did and the quality of work that they provided. I felt manipulated.

They said they would contact me by the end of the day and the never did and I contacted them (e-mail) and they never responded. <br />

They were very wonderful. They came when they said they're going to come. They sent a crew. I think there were 3 or 4 men. They did it quickly. They did everything they said they were going to do. They were just nice guys. They made me feel very comfortable.

I felt as though he had not sufficiently over-seeded but then he came back with in a week and did some more seeding. I was very satisfied with the end results.

Overall I give them a B.  They showed up on time.  The owner seemed professional at first.  He brought one young worker with him and the two of them did the work in a reasonable amount of time. <br /> Unfortunately, though he operates in Raleigh, he either was not aware of, or ignored, the City of Raleigh yard waste requirements which require yard waste to be placed in yard waste cans, bags, or, if using bundles, each  bundle must be tied.   Originally he didn't tie the bundles; I noticed this and called him to come back and tie up the bundles, explaining that the City would not pick them up otherwise.  He came back and tied them, but he used a very lightweight , small string (not sufficient to hold the bundles together) to very loosely tie them.  I picked one up and the string broke and sticks went everywhere.  There were about 10 bundles, and the yard waste truck was already making rounds in the neighborhood,, so I had to quickly get some stout line and tie up each the 10 bundles myself, just in time for the truck to pick them up.  The owner should have known better, and once he was informed, he should have done a more professional job. <br />

On June 24, 2014, we purchased four hours of yard clean-up from BigSky Landscaping for $155. Shortly after that, my husband began having medical problems which caused us to delay scheduling the work. After months of tests, surgery, recovery, etc., we were finally ready to have the work done in early December. We left messages at both phone numbers listed for BigSky for two weeks, and they never called us back. Our coupon was scheduled to expire on December 21, 2014. I emailed BigSky on December 16th, since they had not responded to our phone messages, and again received no response. BigSky owes us the $155 we paid in advance for work they never performed.

The aeration went well. However, the seed did not go down into the aeration holes so I asked them to come out more seed down which they did. I had a bad germination rate which I asked them to do something for but they didn't end up coming out.
