They are experienced and honest. Always fast to respond, even over "off hours and the weekend" when emergencies usually happen. Price is very fair and competitive and service reps are very trustworthy. Would not thing of going anywhere else.

Since I have used them before, I trusted them. They have older, more experienced people who pay attention to detail and explain things. He looked over the list and checked everything on the list that Green Star had written and he said that none of those things is wrong. We did not have any trouble with the unit to begin with. In fact, I would have to call them to do the winter pick up. The charge was around $69 unless they are running a special. If you sign a service agreement with them, year by year it is less and they do all kinds of things. What stand out is their honesty and knowledge ability.

I called Bishop and they sent out a technician to our new house. I showed him the home inspection report that had an A/C unit not working and a furnace fan motor not working. He verified that was true and charged us $168 Diagnostic fee for two hours of work. He sat in his truck for a large portion of that time. Everything he touched in the house is now filthy dirty and must be repainted. I sent a similar e-mail to this one to Bishop with pictures of the walls and ceilings dirty. They sad they were sorry, would talk to the technician and wished me well! Business must be good! <br />

I will also mail your check back to you and there will be no charge for your unsatisfactory experience. We strive to have excellent customer service and honest service and it is unfortunate that this one technicians experience with you has hampered our business relationship we have had for years. The service technician, Randy, arrived right within the scheduled window of 2:00 to 4:00 pm. <br /> During the time that he was here Randy proved to be a very professional, knowledgeable and friendly person to talk to, not just about the HVAC issues at hand. <br /> The general impression that Randy made during the service call was that Bishop Air Service is primarily interested in properly maintaining and/or repairing the HVAC equipment that you presently own, if possible. He himself owns an HVAC unit that is still functioning after 30 years of use! <br /> With other companies (such as "One Hour Air" with their yearly advertisements in the Las Vegas Review-Journal), I have often felt that they are actually more interested in prematurely selling you new equipment, especially when one or more components of your HVAC system has reached and or exceeded the 10-20 year mark. <br /> Randy cleaned and didn't immediately replace our only slightly corroded flame sensor. <br /> During the heating system inspection, it was determined that the capacitor for our system blower was no longer functioning properly and replacing it at a cost of $133.00 ($140.00 less 5% Angie's List coupon) proved to be the only repair that we ended up needing. <br /> Overall, this was a very pleasant, informative and even enjoyable HVAC furnace inspection and I will certainly be contacting Bishop Air Service in the future if any unexpected problems arise as well as to have our AC checked in 2014. <br /> In the meantime - if possible - clone Randy, you could use more of him.

We had two other companies come to our home to give us bids on either 1)repairing our old system or 2) installing a new system. The representatives of the first two companies immediately stated that, since our system was old (20 years) we should just scrap it and install a new system. They didn't even really look at what we currently have. <br /> When the representative from Bishop arrived (one of the owners) he immediately said that he would check out the systerm to see what was wrong and give us an estimate on repairs. If it would be too costly, then he would bid on installing a new system. In other words, he was the only person who actually did what my husband and I had asked for. <br /> He found the problem, repaired it, and we have had zero problems since. The system has worked fine for the remainder of the summer. We know we will have to replace our system eventually, but we did not wish to spend that much money right now, and Bishop gave us the means to have our current system fulfill our needs for this season. <br /> We would both recommend Bishop very highly: they worked to satisfy the client, not to make a big sale. We both feel we can trust them when it comes time to replace our system. <br />

It went well. They were very prompt. They explained exactly what was happening so I understood it. The motor had to be ordered so they put in a lender until mine came in, which was very nice. The pricing was good. I was expecting to pay more.

I had a noise in my air conditioner unit and they came out to check it. They checked everything for me and he even put in my filter for me. I were honest and fair and I would use their service again. <br />

On a hot Saturday in July the upstairs air conditioning failed. Inspection revealed a inoperative fan motor in the split system compressor unit. After consulting Angie's List I called Bishop Air Service and scheduled same-day service. The service technician arrived at the scheduled time, inspected the unit and confirmed my diagnosis. He went to his truck and got the necessary repair parts and soon had them installed. Upon testing, he determined that the refrigerant charge was low, and added the necessary refrigerant. <br /> Although fan motors are a bit expensive, I thought the total charges were quite reasonable and was very well pleased in all respects. <br />

My air conditioning was not working at all. Pete was here within five minutes of me calling the company. He spent at least an hour going through the entire system, the attic and everything. He told us we needed to clean the filters, and he even took my son out and showed him how to clean and maintain the filters. He could have taken advantage of me, but because he didn't, I will surely use him in the future.

Needed my HVAC checked. Purchased a contract for air to be checked in the spring and heat to be checked in the fall. They called to make an appointment and were right on time. Very professional.

We had kind of an involved issue with our cooling system in our wine cellar. It was laborious to fix the problem, but Dave did a great job on it. He worked hard to make sure he got everything up and running the way it was supposed to. He was great and I would definitely use Bishop again.
