Had to wait two months due to the wide area of damage and number of people who had to have roofs. Roofers were quite busy this summer. But when they did show up they worked long and hard to get it done. Men showed up at 7 and worked some days till 8pm (with our permission). Very good crew and very professional except for overhearing occasional profanity. (Never when we were talking together.) Cleaned up and finished in less than 3 days. Price was, I thought, very competitive. I had an estimate on shingles that they actually beat with metal!! Would use them again but I hope I don't have to!

We had a metal roof installed by Bjorkstrand in April 2017. Over time, we discovered that it leaks in multiple places. After 3 failed attempts to fix these problems, Bjorkstrand started ignoring our texts and calls. We asked another roofer to look at their work. He pointed out that nails, not screws, had been used to install the shingles, and concluded that Bjorkstrand had done an incompetent job. We’ve now discovered that on top of the poor installation job, they used shingles made by Gerard, a company against whom multiple lawsuits have been filed, because they are defective and leak. We paid Bjorkstrand $36,000. We are now pursuing legal action against them and seeking compensation, as the whole roof needs to be replaced. If you need a new roof, DO NOT hire Bjorkstrand! Their work is incompetent, and their customer service is abysmal. Based on our experience with them, we concluded that the claims they make in their commercials and on their website are completely dishonest.

It was pretty much painless. Bruce kept in contact with me although my emails kept going into his spam folder. lol They showed up on time and would have finished in two days except the Wisconsin winter weather got in the way with extremely cold temperatures. As it was the workers were here only 3 days. Everything went off without a hitch.

Bjorkstrand Steel Roofing is fabulous! They had to find additional shingles that somewhat matched the first batch, because the first shingles are not made anymore. Then they discovered rotting wood underneath and almost fell through. New wood had to be installed before installing the shingles. They were able to get all this done in 2-3 days. It would have been sooner but it kept raining periodically, which was actually good because they could then see where all the 13 leaks were coming from.

Our 35 year old hunting cabin is 360 miles away from our home, so all arrangements had to be done by phone and email. This company replied to our phone message promptly and replied with the estimate very quickly. Installation was set for a specific day and we were able to be there while the work was being completed. We are very happy with the way the new roof just suits the cabin. Looks great and the crew did a great job.

not very good, they used some leftover shingles from other jobs that did not match and where scratched up, never show up when they said they would every time they nailed shingles on the garage it took finish off the shingles

Pricing is competetive with 50 yr asphalt shingles and WAY less than comparable decorative metal roofing from other companies that sell both asphalt and metal. Well worth your time to at least get a quote. The foreman was really awesome at explaining everything they do, answering questions, and fixing other issues with the gutters I didn't even ask them to do. They guys are really hard workers, efficient, and didn't take breaks from the heat even though I told them to take is easy. The final product is outstanding. Looks great and is super durable. Neighbors who recently installed asphalt shingles are so jealous. Cleanup was not as good as I expected but that was the only negative comment. The scheduled install date was delayed do to weather delays on other projects but I can't fault them for that.

It went great! We had asphalt shingles put on our home, and the process from visiting with Bruce to having the job done went quickly. There was a five man crew and they worked very well with each other to have the job run smoothly. The job took about 5 hours from beginning to end. We are very happy with the job they did. We would recommend this company to everyone and we would use them again.

The crew, Brad, Kurt & Joe, did a very good job. They were professional, courteous, friendly, skilled, knowledgeable, efficient, hard-working, willing to answer questions, understanding and willing to do a good job of clean-up. Bruce met personally with me to go over the project. He had all the paperwork and supporting documents with him to answer any questions I might have. I asked him to bring color choices, which he did. Also, he was knowledgeable on competition, what products they used, and their warranties. I did get other estimates. Competitors were substantially more costly with a lesser warranty. Bruce and his company know their stuff and deliver.
