Bj's Tree Service

This is my second time with this tree company. For some reason didn't find them in Angie's list, but fortunately found their phone number in my phonebook (saved the last time). The estimate was a little bit cheaper comparing to others (I used 4 companies to get a truly transparent picture of what needs to be done and prevent upselling). Surprisingly to me, none of the companies tried to upsell; their recommendations were the same (up to some extend). At the end, decided to go with BJ's, mostly because of the prior positive experience. The work was done next business day after my call (they even offered same day services, but I was unable to accommodate). The work was done in less than 2 hours! Everything was cleaned after. I will definitely call BJ's next time when I need tree services. Highly recommend!

Excellent!! They were the most professional service I have ever had. They saw I had a sprinkler system without me telling them and took the necessary precautions not to run the truck over the sprinkler heads. I had spring flowers that had started emerging and they took special care not to drop branches on them. They cleaned up so well, the yard was left in better condition than before they started. I would highly recommend them to anyone anytime. Their pricing came in lower than the other 2 estimates i received..

They did an excellent job at a competitive price. They removed the limb, branches and cleaned up all the debris. The work was done timely, in a good attitude and professionalism. I suggest describing in detail the work to be done in order to avoid misunderstandings. Walter was very responsive and our satisfaction was important to him and to his crew. Highly recommend and will use them again for the next cycle of trimming/tree work.

It went great, they came and did all the required work despite a few obstacles. They really seemed to know what they were doing. Could have been a bit more communicative prior to the work.

I obtained several tree removal estimates from various companies since the past winter and found customer service with this company is top priority. Completely satisfied with the services performed. They showed me the hollow condition of my tree and said it was caught just in time. Company is responsive, respectful, professional, committed and have plenty of help to complete the task. The team from BJ's Tree Service were excellent! They were very responsive. I called on a Monday and they were at my home on Tuesday to cut and remove the trees! The work was done timely and professionally. The team had to return to grind the stumps and that also was done quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend their services.

Everything went great. I received a very reasonable pricing on the spot and the job was taken care of right away. The job itself was done quickly and neatly.

These guys have done removal of large trees for us twice. Their work was complete, safe and efficient. In addition, they are extremely responsive and return service related phone calls promptly. Cleanup at end of job was excellent also.

Walter pruned it just enough to lessen the lop-sided load. At the last minute I realized that the cut-leaf maple in front needed to be pruned as it was touching the house and bedroom window. They did so without charge. I also asked them, with the sun close to setting, to trim the hedges/bushes. They gave me a good rate and did it very nicely, even blowing the fallen leaves (already on the lawn before they arrived) to the kerb, again at no charge. Walter worked with me on the price quotes and Frankie was there to execute. Both were extremely professional and friendly. I plan to use them again, the next time I need tree service. I recommend them highly.

Walter and his crew were professionals. I received quotes from about nine different places, including all the well-reviewed tree companies on Angie's List. Walter had the best price by far. No complaints.

Walter came and gave a free estimate; he was friendly and professional. On the appointment date, he came with his truck and crew on-time. He did a good job. I will use his service in the future.

Our oak tree is very large and is located next to our garage and close to our neighbors property so it is not easy to maneuver equipment in that space. There were several dead branches high up that needed to be removed. The elm tree in the front of our house needed branches trimmed that were touching the house. They arrived on time and did an excellent job. They were very careful not to cause any damage to our house, garage and shrubs. They removed all debris and cleaned the entire area. They even removed previously felled dead branches from the roof of our garage. We are extremely happy with their work and would definitely use their services again and recommend them. Our trees look great!

Excellent. The best people for the job

I called BJ's Tree Service and asked them if they take credit cards (its on Angie's List that they take Visa). I was assured they do take a credit card. Since I can only use a company that has current worker's compensation insurance, I asked Frankie 2 times, before the work was started, if they are insured and had current workers compensation. I was told yes each time. I was there the day that BJ's cut the tree branches. After they were finished, I gave one of the owners my Visa card. He told me he refused to take it and told me that he does not take credit cards. I told him that's not what I was told. He told me that he would only take cash or a check. I asked him about the certificate of insurance that shows current worker's compensation. He told me that he would have it sent to me. I received a certificate of insurance only for liability and when I called the insurance agency, I was told the he never had worker's compensation with them. I then called the owner and told him what happened. He just gave me excuses. I told me I had to have the certificate of insurance. After that, he would not answer, or take, my calls. He is receiving an F because he is unethical, deceitful, and a liar.
