DO NOT USE! Russell took payment for a job and then did not complete. Now he is making excuses for not completing for over 2 weeks. The job finished almost double over budget and was not quality work. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ELSEWHERE FOR HOME IMPROVEMENT.

The contractor was very swift to respond, provide an estimate, and edit the estimate to include services and a schedule of days of work and work to be performed each day. He was given a credit card deposit of $1,200 on 2/17/24. He started work on 2/22/24. He did not supervise his staff and the end of that day resulted in an area being stained the wrong way. This area needed to be remanded. It was not thoroughly remanded. We had to call him to that evening to instruct his on- site crew to put the furniture back into the house as rain was forecasted. The next day the contractor and his crew of three for that day came. No real progress was seen that day other than some very rudimentary sanding. The eye for detail was not there. The next day they did not come. The next day only the contractor and one other person arrived around 10:30. They worked part of the day. The stain was applied poorly . There were streak marks up and down and left and right. They did not follow the wood grain and run of the boards. Drying of the product did not make the application of the stain any better despite the contractor’s reassurances. They did not show up the next two days! We parted ways as trust and confidence was lost with continued misinformation by the contractor.

Mr. Mooney contacted me about the job almost as soon as I posted it. He came to the house and we discussed what we wanted. I thought he understood what I wanted. His first bid was 9300$. I said that was double what I wanted to pay. He rebid offer and we signed up. Paid 20% down on Square. After several phone calls and false starts the job was underway. Then he requested extra money for the tin roofing. Paid on Square. The next contract had totally changed. Then I realized that the price didn't include concrete. Over 7000$ by this time. Extra 1700$+ for concrete. Pouring out the concrete on a cold day. Workers left before broom finished because Mr. Mooney promised to take care of it. Never showed up. Finish was terrible. When I complained he sent worker to skim coat porch. Somewhat better. But porch addition is not ready for screening. Excess concrete still piled up and form boards still in place. In the middle of this, Square sends all of my payments back. The Mr. Mooney wanted cash. Then the last payment was made to his girlfriend Square acct. All of this is frustrating and unprofessional. His employees seemed fine. But he constantly said that they were coming when they didn't. And has not checked in once to see if we are OK with this. I will not be recommending this company for anything.

The repair went well. The repairman knew his job well.

The service was quick and quality. Price was very affordable. I called for tile removal and repair at the last minute and he was able to get in and fix my kitchen floor. 10/10 Very respectful and professional.

I’ve had Black Diamond Home Improvement do several remodels on my home. I’ve just had Russ and his company remodel my downstairs bathroom to expand it. I am hiring them to remove the carpeting upstairs to replace it with wood panes! A must hire for any home improvement needs!

The project went well. Mr. Whitlow showed up on time everyday, finished before expected time, cleaned up everyday before leaving. I am impressed with the skill and professionalism Mr. Whitlow provided. I will utilize this business for my kitchen remodeling.
