Neither the estimator or the work foreman thoroughly inspected the job. They cut and pulled only part of the tree from the woods. The quote was for the ENTIRE tree, cut up (firewood), and clean up. They cut the tree (about 70-80 feet high) into 4 sections and left them for me to cut up. Also, no clean up, not even a rake. They were called back, came out, but did nothing. Called, came out, and then the estimator looked at the tree, and said "I didn't know it was that far in". He could have looked. It took them almost 4 weeks to get back to "Finish" the job. They still left a mess, but did get most of the tree out, and cut up much of the trunk. When they left however, all of the brush that they picked up was dumped halfway down our driveway. They were considerate enough to not put it in the middle of the drive. Before 2015 they were a good service. We used them a number of times without issues. Terrible service, communication, and work after 2015 when work foreman was replaced. Note that most all good reviews that you find are 2015 and earlier. Recent review have similar issues to ours. One more "Red Flag" - when we asked for a receipt, the foreman said "I DO NOT GIVE RECEIPTS". So, Buyer Beware.

They came out here fast! A lot of guys to do the job. The first thing the guy hands me when he starts the quote is their Assurance Center information. They are insured, which is better than just being bonded. <br />I'm not really sure how to describe the scariness of hearing large chunks of tree falling on my deck, but it is something that can jolt your nerves. I think that's my only concern as far as professionalism goes. That kind of falls in line with care for my house. <br />They have the right equipment so no need to worry if it's just a bunch of guys with a saw. They brought in bobcats and all! <br /> <br /> <br />I didn't get too many quotes for this as it was an emergency and the only other bonded and insured company near me didn't respond in time. But, it was 750 to remove a tall (but not too wide) tree that just needed to be chopped up and hauled away. <br /> <br />I'm typing this as I still hear some really large thumps on my roof. That part is also scary as I already warned them there are shattered trusses. But, they seem to be doing a good job. And they were really here when I needed them. I'll update this review if they let me...once this is all paid for and closed. <br /> <br />**Although there's a mountain dew bottle and a few left over small branches, they took the time to rake areas in which they worked. The moved the furniture and other stuff in the way, out of the way before they started. So, I'm still going to upgrade the overall review. <br />

I've been remiss in writing this review for excellent work performed last April by Greg Blank and his team.  <br /> Greg arrived promptly on the day and agreed time last March to provide me an estimate of the described work.   Greg made some useful suggestion on what trees should be removed or trimmed and how much foliage should be removed from a 60-ft. tall hackwood tree.  He and his 4-man team - including two of his sons - arrived at the agreed time on April 6 to perform the work.  They were friendly and professional and performed the work as requested.  The range of equipment - including their bucket truck - was impressive.  They did a thorough clean-up job including grinding the limbs and stumps and, per my request, moving the larger lengths of trunks and large limbs to the back yard for my use in landscaping the edge of my woods.  I paid the agreed-to price and there were no surprises, mishaps, or problems.   Greg, his sons, and the rest of the team were highly competent and efficient in their work.  I would recommend them to anyone who wants a superior tree service job performed.       <br />

They are great to deal with and are very responsive. There were two workers that came out to do the work for us. Scheduling is easy and they are able to come out right away and accommodate to my schedule. Greg is usually the person we deal with.

I called him because we thought we needed to remove three huge trees that might damage the house. To my surprise, Mr. Blank told me that removing the trees would be a mistake: they were healthy and were not a danger to the house. Instead, he pointed at some dead smaller trees and some limbs that appeared dead. They came punctually, worked hard, very meticulously.  The crew could not have been nicer. The yard looks great now, no limbs over the roof of the house, the yard perfectly clean, a great professional job. And my husband kept the three trees that he loved. <br />

We had a river birch tree that had outgrown its location. Greg and his crew took out the tree and used the stump grinder to get rid of the stump, even though it was in a very difficult location.  <br /> They took down the tree without damaging trees around it, or the fence it was growing right next to, <br />

My Blank came to my home on 10/30/2012 and gave me an estimate to remove a 75 ft tall and about a 2 ft dia oak tree from the yard.  I agreed on price and he said he would be back in the morning to cut the tree.  There was a crew of 5 men, 5 trucks, a stump grinder, a chipper, and a trailer to carry the tools the next morning about 9:00.  The tree was down yard clean seeded where needed and the equipment gone by 5:00.  The tree was located about 10 ft from a house, and 6 feet from a car port.  Nothing was damaged.  Yes I would have him back again. <br />

Six men, bucket truck, chipper, stump grinder, and the enclosed chip hauler truck arrived on time.  The men got to work bringing the trees down in sections.  No damage to house.  Super job!!!

I had checked pricing, and they gave me an excellent price. I was really happy with the work.They did a good cleanup job. They were really nice and great to do business with.It didn't take a long time for them to come out when I called them. If somebody has not used them and needs a tree service, they should definitely include them in the estimates they get. If I needed that kind of service again I would call them first.

Mr. Blank arrived here at the exact time we had agreed on to give me an estimate of the work to be done, a timeline and the price. <br /> I am very impressed with the professionalism of this company.  Five very large maple trees were removed.  Three of the trees were in the fenced-in back yard.  They arrived on time, worked very hard. did everything we had agreed to (Ithink they did more than we had agreed to)  I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with this company and I highly recommend them.

Blank Tree Service was very efficient, and very professional, and they cleaned up all the mess.

We used them because we got good recommendations about them.  They were here and finished the work in one day.  I thought they were fair priced.  They do an excellent job.  I will use them again in the future.

I have been quite satisfied with them.  The price depended on how much work they did.  I spent about $700 and that was to remove two really giant pine trees.  I would tell other members that they were reputable.

Blanks Tree Works were careful with what they were doing. They were bonded, licensed, insured and did great work. They were very responsive to returning calls and they did professional work.
