Blaze Brockway Contracting — To Blaze & his talented team — Thank you for your amazing work!!! What a project you undertook. We started out with some updates — screened porch & siding. Inspecting our home, you quickly discovered severe structural issues. Previous contractors never followed the standard codes for construction. My home was at risk - I had rotting footers , an add-on room that was rotted & falling down, a metal roof that was wet under the metal & hid mold issues, a deck that was not installed according to state standards and was shifting with our NY weather conditions, & sadly so much more . Blaze worked with us & our budget to resolve these issues. He made helpful suggestions on issues that needed to be addressed immediately. Blaze & the team stuck with us for 6 weeks of repairs, never leaving our site for other jobs. The team tore down the existing roof & built a beautiful new roof; they tore down & rebuild our add-on room , installed concrete blocks to secure our structure, & build our new new beautiful screened in porch!!! The work is amazing & the attention to detail is incredible!! Blaze continued to keep an open communication with us. Always stopping by the worksite to check in. We actually left our home & headed to our seasonal place in FL. We were confident that these guys had our backs! Daily pictures & updates were sent to us. Blaze is fully insured & really takes care of his customers! I have never had a contractor that I would trust 100%. Blaze Brockway Contracting really cares about me & its customers!!! The job was timely done and in workmanlike manner. We are grateful to Blaze Brockway and his workers for a fast and capable job and which allowed us to remain in our house while it was completed. He rebuilt the office of a dentist friend who had suffered a fire, and they also were extremely please with his work, his timeliness, and his ability to make modifications required by an older structure. <br />

<p>Very pleasant experience. Mr. Brockway was prompt in returning my call and scheduling a visit. He arrived on the promised date and time. I went through the various items we wanted him to address on a 1950 era home, and detached garage with very neglected wood siding that required a lot of sanding to provide a paintable surface. He listened -- a key attribute to a good outcome. Mr. Brockway made a number of suggestions that were accepted as his ideas ensured a better and more visually pleasing outcome. For example, his suggestions on downspout placement provided a much improved visual as well as more efficient drainage. His crew added finish details that were not specified in the contract but were done as just part of the job - no added cost. Excepting weather delays, Mr. Brockway and his crew completed all work (original request and added work) on time and budget. Quality of work was excellent. Our experience with Brockway Contracting was very successful because:</p> <p>-- He did what he promised, honored his estimates, provided a skilled and hard working crew, and an excellent end result. <br /> <br /></p> <p>-- An elderly neighbor mentioned to Mr. Brockway that he had a problem. Mr. Brockway corrected the issue at no charge to the neighbor or me. I got this from the neighbor. Many contractors would have given the neighbor an estimate. Even though the owner is gone our relationship with the neighbors is of continued importance.</p> <p>-- At the final inspection I noticed a few minor changes (cosmetic) that I wanted. Mr. Brockway promised to make the changes - no added cost. </p> <p>Overall this was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend Blaze Brockway Contracting. </p> <br />

All I'd know to expect from a roofer is that you remain dry and I did. The job looks beautiful and I have gotten compliments on it. I'd say go with him as a GC also, as he honors his time schedule and stands by his work. <br /> <br />
