About us
Blessing Electric Co. is a full-service, licensed and insured, electrical contracting company that has provided professional service and installation to commercial and residential customers for over 20 years. Using a fleet of fully equipped service vehicles, including 30 and 45 foot aerial lift trucks, and a staff of experienced technicians, Blessing Electric does everything from troubleshooting faulty light switches and outlets to full home rewires. Blessing Electric is the proud recipient of the award for One of the Best in the 2015 Best of Delco award for Best Electrician. The company was founded in 1990 by its current owner and operator, Curtis Blessing, and became incorporated in 2000. After over 25 years of experience as a master electrician, Mr. Blessing decided to bring his meticulous, professional brand of service to customers of his own. Beginning on the Main Line suburbs of Philadelphia, he has steadily built Blessing Electric to now serve the entire southeastern Pennsylvania region, along with Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey.

Didn't install it to code but the price was right. Didn't install my LED under/over cabinet lighting properly and I had to redo them. overall I was happy and would hire again.

Blessing electrical was here within a day, provided a quote that I thought was reasonable and the work was done immediately. The company personnel were knowledgeable and fast. I understand what the overhead is for small family run businesses. It is more than just the cost of parts and the amount of time to do the work. I hope they get enough work for them to continue.

Curt Blessing was a pleasure to work with. He gave a very quick, fair estimate. His team did a very professional job installing our new EV charging station (which was not a simple job because the station is located far from the panel). Our Homeowner Association had one of our street lights go out because Verizon cut the wires while they were digging a hole for a new junction box. We tried to get them to repair the wires that they damaged to no avail, and we called Blessing Electric to help us out. They were very responsive, quoted us a very fair price, came out on their scheduled date, dug into the frozen ground, found the severed wires, and made quick repairs. Our light is working again! Thank you so much, we will hire them again without hesitation.

Working with Blessing Electric could not have been more hassle-free. The in-person estimate literally took 5 minutes, if that. The day they came to do the work, we left our purchased fan and light in the master bedroom and left our side door unlocked. We never saw them. When we got home, everything looked amazing! The work was done perfectly, they cleaned up everything, and we are so happy having LIGHT! (and a fan!) The cost was paid for by parents as a gift, but I know they thought it was reasonable and they are tough to please.

They came did the work, no problems no fuss. I will keep their number and refer them to anyone that may need electric work. I did get 3 estimates, theirs came in so reasonable that I was a little concerned. This is when I refereed to other reviews and talk to neighbors who had the same work done. I am very pleased.

They were great! Showed up on time and with a crew of five to get the jobs all done in one day. Everybody knew what they were doing. <br /> Very professional and no surprises with the bill, went exactly as planned. I have dealt with many contractors over the years and I would highly suggest that if you need any electrical work done you call these folks, best I had in my house over the past 40 years. <br /> Highly Recommend them!! <br />

I had a lightning strike at my home which created a short in one of the circuits. I called Blessing Electric for the first time to ask them to come out and look. One of their electricians came out promptly and diagnosed the problem, checking the panel, switches and fixtures. I was very impressed when he found out where the short was, as I know a few things about electricity and up to that point was baffled. Anyway, the work to fix the short would involve more work than a service call, so they submitted a bid to fix the problem later. I have yet to get the problem fixed for other reasons, but I will definitely have them do the work if that's the way I go. The office, electrician, and paperwork were all professional and prompt and I will definitely use them again. <br />

Very happy with the work and the whole team at Blessing. It took a bit longer than I hoped but all renovations do. It was a challenging project but they did a great job. Easy to communicate with, professional, stayed on budget, and seemed to really care about the project which helped put my mind at ease. Would certainly use them in the future. <br />

They arrived on time and did the work promptly. All was fine. The only problem was that they did open a new ringer for the doorbell which I only purchased for use if the old one did not work. It turned out the old one was fine, but I could not return the new one since it had been removed from the clamshell packaging. <br />

Work went great overall, with minimal damage to walls. Added a new circuit to the panel, removed a can light, then added an exhaust fan/light combination. They also separated the circuits to the ceiling light and vanity light, so that they are on different switches. <br /> Everything went great, the guys were finished within 3 hours. The only downsides were my house was left a bit dirtier than I would've liked...they did wear shoe covers, but going in and out of the house ended up leaving a few footprints. The dust/insulation was given a preliminary sweep, but I needed to go back with a shop vac for a couple minutes to clean up the remaining dust. Not a huge deal, but if I could do it that quickly, they could've as well. <br /> That said, the work was done in a quality manner for a much better price than other quotes I got, so I would work with Blessing again and recommend them to others. <br />

The Blessing Electric guys were the BEST! They were very friendly but still very professional, they were on time and left my house in spotless condition. I am a young woman who lives alone and I did not feel uncomfortable with them for even one second. I will use them whenever I need any sort of electrical work done in the future.
