"Dear Members, Unfortunately this review is not one that we can take a look at to see how we can learn as a team from. We greatly appreciate all reviews and try our best to see how we can improve on All levels. The job was from May of 2012, not August of 2013 as shown. The job was provided a one year in home service warranty and balance of all repairs are sent to the factory for Repairs. We make all of our customers aware of this and have a signature area for such disclosures. This is very Standard in our industry. The shade in questions was also 115.5” wide and carried common carrier freight fees (which customer was and is aware of.) I never consulted with this man on this job from the first day. The wife Was aware of the policies and signed for the job as agreed. The repair in question was handled swiftly and with great consideration to the customer AT NO CHARGE even After the one year period was over. He also told me that another technician said the company the shade was from was out Of business. Clearly not the case. We have tried and tried to please the customer. It is simply impossible. We clearly explained that it needed to go to the factory for repair. HE refused. We ordered parts to facilitate an onsite repair at OUR expense. It was not possible. We removed the shade to try to facilitate the repair at our shop at OUR expense, it was not possible. We offered to ship the shade and re-install it and told him the fees would be $230 for the freight. HE Refused We returned the shade to his residence to him at NO CHARGE. Our company was threatened if we did not do as he says he would post negative reviews on a job that was completed well Over a year ago. We will always provide excellent customer service and did so for this customer at our Expense and listened to endless threats. This is the outcome. And it is sad that a customer chose to use ANGIE’S LIST to be less than honest. This customer demanded we return his shade by 10:01 the day we could not facilitate a complimentary repair for his out of In home warranty shade. If we did not do so, He would report it stolen. He was given every consideration and treated with the utmost Respect. At his request we returned the shade to his residence at the DEMANDED time, once again at our cost and this is the Thank You we received. I am saddened by this report as this is not the way we treat our customers. Nor have we ever been treated in such a manner in our Many years in business. We are troubled that we tried our very best and this customer is less than forthcoming in the facts. WE tried our Best but could not be threatened by unreasonable requests that we could not fulfill. Please read our many positive reviews and we would love to earn your A as we have from so many wonderful customers. I appreciate your consideration To do business with us. As I said they were a bad lot from the start since usually they have very little service issues even in commercial applications. I always try to sell the best products with little service issues, these were not meeting our usually quality, at all. I am very happy you have the products you love and that your job is to your satisfaction. Your home is gorgeous and your selections, outstanding. "Dear Member, I am sorry that the divider rail in the bedroom was installed and you did not like it. When I reviewed the final measure sheet it listed dividers on all and you signed the sheet to go forward. I regret they were not exactly what you wanted and we will call in the future if we see a change from consult to measure even if it is signed for to avoid this in the future.
