Hector and his team are amazing! I have worked with them for almost 10 years. They supported me when I did an addition on my house and also worked on my rental house. Between the two properties they did a brand new foundation for an addition and garage, two driveways, and a retrofit / reinforcement of a foundation, new front porch steps and walkway from street. The concrete work is absolutely beautiful. They are a master expert with concrete. Hector is also very good with brainstorming, my ideas and helping to transform my thoughts and vision into a beautiful space in my backyard. Excellent professional job. Hector and his crew demolished an old crooked concrete block wall and rebuilt a new sturdy one with rebar and footings. The team then stuccoed and painted the wall and it is beautiful! The job site was kept as clean as possible during and after the project. I would highly recommend Block-Crete Construction!

I have used Block-Crete Construction for the past 40+ years. From home to home . The crew of people are trustworthy, responsible, knowledgeable and on-time. They have done extensive remodeling inside and outside of my homes. They did an additional bedroom with on-suite and added an additional garage. There work is amazing. Block-Concrete construction does amazing work. I have had them do work at my house for 20+ years. They have even come to repair or replace work done by other contractors that was substandard. What started out as simple removal of a very old pool and deck from our front yard evolved into a major (ongoing) renovation of our property, for which Block Crete has so far performed nearly all the work.  Removal of the pool, which was located adjacent to a 25-ft tall gravity wall on a pretty steep hillside location, appeared to be a challenging job from the start.  <br /> After some initial demolition, they found that the pool had been built inside of another pool, so there were actually two thick concrete shells to remove.  It turned out that there were also a couple of massive concrete pillars bordering the pool that went down at least six feet below grade (their original purpose still a unknown to us).  In short, there was more than a boatload of concrete that needed to be broken up and hauled off.  They handled these unexpected challenges with no problem, charged us a very reasonable amount over the original quote and got everything out quickly. <br /> Once the pool and deck were out, they poured a nice curving concrete path to our front porch and two curving concrete retaining walls each about two feet tall.  The finish on the concrete was just as I had requested, via a photo I had taken of a wall that I liked.  Next, they installed a new brick porch in herringbone pattern at our front door.  All high-quality work. <br /> We're currently having Block Crete do several other things around our property, including installation of a new stairway to replace the demolished one and replacing a couple of old and leaning retaining walls. <br /> The removal of the pool and deck, from obtaining the permit through the final soils report, represented about $13K of the total cost. <br /> <br /> <br />
