Blue Ridge Carpentry

Blue Ridge Carpentry did the original deck work using wood, so it made sense to use them again to replace the wood with synthetic decking since they already knew the design of the deck and what would be needed. I was able to get a quote on materials from another lumber provider, but Kevin was able to get the same quote from a more local provider. The work included removal and carry off of the old wood decking material and replacement with the synthetic decking. The finished product looks great!

Blue Ridge is a very good company and we are very happy with the deck they built for us. The quality and workmanship was outstanding and I will definitely hire them again.

He made specific contract and stuck to it. He is very easy to work with. His workers are polite, skilled and trustworthy. I felt his pricing is very fair. He arranged for most work to be done and worked as a general contractor.

This was the second time we have used Blue Ridge they are excellent.  The removed the existing master bath and retiled both the master bath floor, closets, and shower.  Kevin and his crew were punctual and always left the worksites in a professional appearance.  I cannot give them a higher grade but they deserve it.  All of the work is beautiful with all the small details addressed.  I am planning a kitchen remodel next year and will use Blue Ridge again.  They not only got the job done, in a extremely workman like manner the stuck to the original estimate except for some changes that my wife ordered.  Even the changes were extremely cost effective.  These guys are good.  I would recommend them for any remodeling work that you are doing. <br />

They did an excellent job on all of the tasks mentioned above.  Had no issues and the contractor got the job done by the completion date.  Did the job relatively quick and accurately.  Very pleased with work done and would have them come out to do another project.   <br />

The project went well.  Several modest adjustments to original project were made without additional cost.  When an unexpected problem arose it was quickly diagnosed and determination made as to how to fix it and an itemized bill for approx. 4 hours of unexpected labor and material was presented.  Three inspections by county building and electrical inspectors passed without <br /> problems.  We are happy with all the work done Blue Ridge Carpentry and particularly happy with the roof and columns at the front door.  <br /> <br />

Kevin Clark and his company did an outstanding job on designing and building a beautiful storage building for us. He responded to our email quickly, met with us to see what our expectations were as far as what we wanted the structure to look like and what we intended the building to be used for. He made cost saving suggestions and in a day or so we received a professional appearing proposal. He was very involved throughout the building process. His crew was professional and hard working, showed up on time and the end result is outstanding. We would use Blue Ridge Carpentry again with no hesitation. <br />

Blue Ridge Carpentry returned our telephone call promptly, set a date and time to visit our home, took measurements and viewed <br /> the locations where we want doors and framing removed and replaced with upgraded framing and upgraded doors. We have not yet received an estimate from Blue Ridge. <br />

See above.  In addition, his electrician ran electric line from the main house to the building.  When the electric fence we have for our dog was accidentally cut, he came back and fixed the problem right away.  He coordinated the hiring of the backhoe operator, plumber, electrician, etc.  No one disappointed us. <br />

We called three different contractors and Kevin was the only one that responded. Kevin stopped to take provide an initial estimate and said that he was currently involved in another project and didn't want to take away from that project which we appreciated. They ensured all the necessary paperwork was submitted for the building permit and set up the times for the county inspectors to come out. They promised to complete it in a week depending on weather. Due to rain, they were slightly delayed but worked extra on the days the rain passed and completed the work in about 5 days. Very well built and sturdy construction. Would definitely recommend. <br />

Kevin Clark, the owner, was very prompt and professional with his first visit and production of the estimate. His carpenters were also largely on time to get the work done. They were late getting started but that was due to inclement weather, not much they could do about that. They all acted very professionally at all times. They cleaned up after themselves, never leaving a mess. We are very pleased with the results. <br />

Builder was quick to provide quote. BUilder didn't want to start job right away because they were awaiting the decsion of another client and didn't want to be overburdened and cause delays on our project. I appreciated that mentality. Other client postponed plans and builder jumped right in on our project. Still waiting for building permit for job to begin but the deck should be completed in about a week from the time the permit is obtained. <br />

We are very pleased with the service that Blue Ridge Carpentry performed.  When the owner, Kevin Clark, came to give us an estimate, he listened to our concerns regarding a traditional drywall replacement fix and our idea of the box beam instead.  He was very professional and showed up on time for the estimate.  We did have two delays with the repair date (weather and illness) but that is the nature of the business.  The work crew was very careful with avoiding floor and wall damage while they worked. They did a great job cleaning up when the work was finished.  The repair turned out exactly how we had hoped. We would definitely use Blue Ridge Carpentry again and recommend them to others. <br />

Kevin (the principal) came and gave me an estimate in a timely manner. He and his guys picked up the doors from the vendor, delivered and installed them without a hitch.
