We have worked with Chris at Blue Valley for 24 years. He has helped us in four different locations throughout the Kansas City area, from termites to rodents he has always been responsive, professional, and results-oriented. As the owner of the business he has consistently stayed on the front lines, personally handling the calls and providing the service. Thanks Chris for all you do!

Chris Savoy is a great guy. He knows his stuff, keeps it simple (aka affordable) and is thorough. He is super friendly and explains things well. Exactly the kind of guy I love doing business with.

During the inspection, Chris found that field mice had been in our basement. He treated for them as well. Also, pointed out to me on the outside of the house where gutter was overflowing and creating area for carpenter ants. Was grateful that he pointed this out before it became a problem.

Chris scheduled a time about a week and half out that worked for me to put down the termite treatment. He then called a few days later to let me know he was going to come and separately treat the property for ants ahead of the termite treatment. This was at no cost above the quoted price just for termites. He was rained out on the Thursday scheduled for termite treatment but was able to work around my schedule and come out the very next Saturday morning instead.

<p>I am very disappointed with the overall service I received from Blue Valley Pest Control. I called Chris (the owner) because I had noticed that insects were putting holes in our front doorframe. Chris came over and inspected our property and took care of the run-of-the-mill insects but said that he was unsure what was causing the holes in our doorframe. He said that his best guess was that they were carpenter ants and that he would treat them as such. I was a little bit surprised by the fact that he was unable to identify the cause of the damage when he claims to have over 30 years of experience. Nonetheless, I had him treat for the carpenter ants.</p> <p>Later that day, I contacted Chris again to let him know that I was fortunate enough to witness the insect going back into one of the holes and that I took a couple pictures of it. He asked me to send him the pictures so he could properly identify it and so we could take the proper course of action. However, after sending him the pictures, I never heard back from him. I have tried calling him, leaving him a couple voicemails, and even sent him an email (all of which were ignored). I was quite surprised because Chris has a great personality and seemed very friendly. As a result, I am now forced to contact another pest control company to take care of what I expected Blue Valley Pest Control to do in the first place.</p>

Chris was very helpful and explained the whole process. He is very knowledgeable and had good answers to all of my questions. He was also very flexible with our schedules. It's hard to say this early if the termites are gone. But I feel like BV Pest did a good job and I'm not too worried that the problem has been solved.

Chris was very responsive and thorough. WE had to coordinate with Chris when we found termites during a mold remediation project. Chris was very quick to respond to provide initial service and then treated the entire house after that. He is very good at communicating and keeping in touch and shows up when he says he will. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I plan to continue to use Blue Valley Pest control for ongoing annual treatments to maintain the warranty.

We were slammed with those little flying termites seeking a house to eat, this May, thousands of them. I called Blue Valley Pest Control from Angies list and Chris was prompt and cheerful, and had recommendations from neighbors. He went through the house checking for damage and infestation. Thankfully it was minimal. He offered a  proposal, explaining the options we had. He was assuring, got the little buggers barricaded from out house, and will be back every year for $90.00. I am pleased with the service and will recomend Blue Valley Pest Control. <br />

We had three wasps/yellowjackets get into the house in one day and it looked like they may have been nesting along the second story roofline.  So I knew I needed to call a pro before my husband went up on the roof with a can of Raid.  Chris came out on short notice to evaluate the situation and said he'd return the next morning (a Saturday on a holiday weekend) to dust the attic and spray along the roofline.  He came out, took care of business, and checked for termites, too.  He's very personable and knows our neighborhood well.  We will definitely call back in the future. <br />

It is a local company.  I like that he comes regularly and he has a great attitude.  He helped me out as much as he could with a different issue, not the pest control stuff.  He went above and beyond with that issue.

We've been using Chris for 10+ years.  My family is so used to living without any bugs, that I hear about it right away if the occasional spider wanders in.  Chris always does a great job and when I call, he fits me into the schedule fast.  He's also friendly and professional. <br />

Chris is a very nice guy, and we have enjoyed working with him.
