Bret Thompson called to arrange a time to come to the house to look at the sight and discuss best practices. He showed up on time, was courteous and professional, discussed the needed repairs Identified and solutions, set up a timely repair appointment with a quote. He told me who would be coming to work the project and when to expect them. His work team showed up on the scheduled day on time and completed the project to our satisfaction. The men were courteous and professional. Mr. Thompson called later to check on our satisfaction and to guarantee the work stating that if we experienced any further leaks after any future rains from the areas that were repaired, he would come back to address those areas without any charge. I'll definitely use them again if and when the need should ever arise.

Damage was done to the backyard water faucet.

The owner had to come out to finish the project due to a staffing issue.

Brett and his team did an excellent job on the roof! I was so pleased with the job they did, I immediately turned around and hired them to repair the ceiling in the room that was damaged by the faulty roof. I was quite pleased with their workmanship and their attention to detail.

I’m usually quite skeptical about contractors and have had my fair share of dealing with unreliable, unresponsive or just untrustworthy and unprofessional folks over the years …so you can imagine how pleasantly surprised I was finding a business that proved to be reliable, responsive, trustworthy and professional throughout our engagement with them. From our first contact with B&M to set up an appointment, to an initial meeting with Brett (the very next day) who quickly instilled a sense of confidence in the way he assessed our problem (we had a ceiling leak in a couple of places)… to the way the work was scheduled and carried out by a great team of individuals - always polite and respectful. Brett is a genuinely caring professional who runs an admirable operation that I will always call upon first for any work I need done around the house.

It was absolutely marvelous. The workers were very pleasant and cleaned up after their work. I asked for advice and got some wonderful advice and ideas to make things better. Workers came when they said they would and worked constantly. Telephone calls and texts were always answered. We were having a difficult time with husband being in hospital for a long time and this company was patient and kind and understanding. We are so pleased with the results. We will definitely use them again. We had complete trust in cost and work.

This was the second contractor. the first did a terrible job. B & B came in and showed up when promised, did excellent work and cleaned up completely after themselves.

I absolutely love this company. Very professional. The owner is down to earth and easy to speak with. The 2 guys that performed the duties were extremely nice and pleasant. Their work ethic is top notch and I have 0 complaints. They came back everyday until the job was completed.

Brett and his workmen were pleasant, knowledgeable, respectful and worked hard. The bathrooms were in terrible shape and they look great now. Estimate was accurate and reasonable. The add-ons that became necessary were very few and reasonably priced as well. I did not feel that he was trying to price gauge me at all. Very satisfied with the experience.

not good. He gave me an price of $2150.00 but at the end he said we owed $2277.00. Not happy

This all started last May when it was really hot and my air conditioner quit. Besides the AC, a lot of other stuff needed to be fixed and financing took a while to set up properly, but Bret Thompson and crew bore with me as it was arranged. The whole thing took four months from start to completion. This seems like an awfully long time, but most delays were due to weather (remember the last hurricane we had in 2019?) and subsequent supplies delayed because of the hurricane. I am totally happy with the results, the house is better than when I got it. Bret always listened to me, was respectful of me (as were his crew), answered my questions, was really insistent on the best quality work of his crew and subcontractor, and always wanted to know if this is what I wanted. All that, and at a reasonable cost considering that other licensed builders I contacted who Never Called Back, or IF they called back gave ridiculously high estimates, or dismissed me as not possibly having a brain because I am a retired older woman.

Brett was very responsive to any phone call, text and email. Always took the time to answer questions. After they got started the crew were always on time and stayed until late every day until the job was completed. I would definitely recommend this company for structural damage.
