He was sloppy and unprofessional. He never finished the job.

I didn't like it at all. First, the guy did not look professional to me and secondly he did not work for two hours. For the main job that I wanted him to do, he started saying that he needed to break toilet and he was trying to charge me more money which I did not do. They were two people and they did not look professional and they didn't act professional either. I hired another person and he removed the toilet and did what I wanted. He removed the clogging and put it back. I wouldn't call him again. I paid them additionally to change the faucet. <br />  

I gave him a third of the money down, as he said it would be done before Thanksgiving. Their attendance at first was spotty, not showing up with any regularity. Bob did most of the work himself, using a couple of young guys to help, until it came time to do the tile. He presented to me his "right-hand man", who I later found out had only been doing tile for about four months. Bob eventually sent someone else out to finish the job, Mike, who discovered how poorly-done the tile was previously, and began to correct the work. Now, Mike is unavailable, as well. He's told me now at least six times that he was coming, with no phone call or anything to let me know that he was canceling each and every single one of those appointments. This project started about three months ago, when it was still warm, and now we're in the middle of winter and the work is still not done. The only redeeming part of the job so far is that Mike did a great job with what little tile he's done.

I have been trying to contact them for over a week, starting last Monday, December 8th, and I never got an answer. I called them again on Wednesday the 10th and left them a message saying that one of my gutters was leaking and I needed to talk to someone about it. I also did not get an answer to this message. My daughter tried calling them yesterday, the 15th, several times and got a message that the mailbox is now full. Also, the estimate was more of a "write it as you go" kind of thing which my daughter did not appreciate.

The work was started on May 5th,completed, June2. However the siding was taken down and never replaced. The small roof  supposed to be entirely shingled...only did two rows.. I have issues when it rains constantly or when we have heavy rain. It has ruined my ceiling and now its constantly leaking. I first noticed problem August 25. Notified Bob.Sept. 4 , he finally came, after several messages I left. He caulked. the 13th I said still leaks.Oct. 9...he put tarp up.18th...he took tarp down...one piece of aluminum up (not siding ) didn't bother with the damaged leaking ceiling.Nov. 11...told him...still leaks.some of his team came and looked , said they'd be back..19th , office lady said phone problems. haven't heard from them since. Nov. 24, no snow on roof...opportunity. Dec.1,2,4...no snow. No Bob's Complete Construction. Inc.

Bob did a great job. Everything was nice and neat. Only small problem we had with him is the promise to be out to do the repair the following week, but heard nothing all week. We called him the following Monday and he explained that he had lost an employee and that he was very busy. Bob said he would be there on Friday in the afternoon. He did come late Friday afternoon and did the repair even continuing when it started raining. We are very pleased with Bob's Complete Construction.

Bob was hired to replace the line connecting our house to the sewer system because tree roots had gotten into it. The tree was removed and the line replaced, but Bob completely failed to clean up and put the property back after the the repair was made. Our front yard was destroyed, as well as two panels of sidewalk, which were not repaired. Bob is affiliated with One Step Realty, Inc., which is notorious for scamming its tenants and property owners alike. <br />

They were out within a week of us purchasing the deal. The service was fine. We were very happy with them.

He came over from another job for about an hour and went out to purchase a needed piece but didn't look at the whole problem such as checking on the water line.  He asked me to call him again to complete but I decided against calling him back.

Scheduling was fairly easy. He was very flexible. The pricing was fair for the amount of the work he did.  When he came for the calking it was OK.  The clean up was not done very well.  He needed to run out to get more needed product to complete the work.  While he was doing this I ended up cleaning up mold and removing additional calking.  When I left I realized he had missed some spots as he seemed to be in a rush.

Bob answered the phone personally and scheduled the appointment.  He and his helper were professional; on-time and the work was done as promised with a good outcome.  I am happy that I found this service on Angie's List and would definitely recommend and use again.  Thank you Angie's List and Bob. <br />

Bob returned my call on Thursday, 6/19/14 at 1p. It sounded to me like he was coming right over to inspect the hole. I waited 7 hours; then finally called him to say it was after 8p and I wanted to eat dinner, etc. The TV was playing in the background. He'd forgotten. He apologized and said he'd come by at 9a the next morning (Friday, 6/20/14). And he did. <br /> In the meantime, I went to my shed an got my dog's wading pool, hauled it to the attic, and placed it under the hole in the roof. <br /> After Bob inspected the hole from inside the attic, he gave me an verbal estimate of $125 and said he'd fit me in some time the following week. By Friday of the next week (6-27-14), I called Bob. He said he'd fix my roof early next week. <br /> On Monday, 6/30/14, Bob rings the doorbell at 5p. He didn't call ahead of time, because he hadn't written down my phone number. <br /> The job took an hour. He used my ladder, broom, scrap wood board, and shingles. <br /> He had quoted $125. He asked for $150. <br /> I paid the $150 and did not use the Angie's List coupon (I had forgotten to mention that I had printed one off on the day he made his quote so it was invalid). <br /> June had been a really hot, sticky month. Bob had mentioned that he was really, really busy. He was always up-beat. I understood the delays but wished he had remembered my name and number instead of me having to call him back. He was the only person who was even interested in fixing my roof. The original roofing firm would not return my calls. (Too small of a job?) <br /> Bob's assistant went above and beyond. While he was waiting for Bob to inspect the hole from on top of the roof, he brushed small branches, etc. from off the roof and then swept the debris from the gutters. <AWESOME!> (The neighbor's big oak trees drop a lot of branches, leaves, limbs on my roof. Thus, the hole in the roof.) <br /> I'm glad the hole is fixed and would use Bob again (even with his quirks). <br />

Quoted me the cost over the phone, came out the next day & started the drywall. Job was finished in 3 days just like he said it would be. Did a good job, no complaints!

this is our second review of bob, we left an A+++++ review after the first time we had him out after finding him on angie's list, because he was great and exceeded our expectations, (thank you angie's list! ) but i thought people reviewing his service would like to know that he's not just great the first time to get your business, he's just great! :)  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> we had a memorial day weekend planned for projects, which included turning the in-ground sprinkling on for the first time this spring, and we had a leak in the pipes, inside the boiler room, inside the house....very stressful,...until we remembered we have bobl! <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> we called bob, who answered on the first phone call, and our stress was taken care of.  bob and matt came out the same day, fit us in on their busy schedule, to help us out.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> same as our first review, we couldn't be happier with bob's complete construction.  i think his company name says it all, we have complete faith that he can do, or fix, any thing and he answers his phone when you need someone too!!! <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> i do feel like i need to say that i gave bob an A for punctuality because i wanted him to get the great rating that he deserves, but you should be prepared that he is not punctual....we look at it like a valued family doctor....the professionals that want to do the best job for you and actually care about it never run on time, but you love them above all others because you know the reason they are running late is that they treat every client like they are the most important one and take the time to make you feel that way as well as doing their job to the very best of their abilities.  so, i gave a false 5 star review for bob on the punctuality thing because we are pretty certain that he's not super punctual because he's staying at the job before you until it is done, and he's going to do the same thing for you!  he is worth the wait, and the reason is that when you have an emergency, or an unexpected challenge with a  project,or any project you would like done, he's going to be there for you and be dedicated to helping you out.  our experience has been that he is a very hard-working, honest professional that is great to work with!
