I did not dislike anything.

The gentleman had surgery and never ever called me back.  Had I not contacted this company, I don't believe I ever would have received a phone call.

Bob communicated well.  I sent pictures over beforehand of the work I requested.  Unfortunately the quality of the work did not work out for me. When removing the old wood splines, many of them cracked and the door itself cracked in many places.  I am unsure why this work was attempted without removing the door and putting it on some saw horses for stability to relieve the stress placed on the door. <br /> It pains me to write a poor review because he was a super nice gentlemen, and I could tell he also not happy with the quality of the work provided, but at the end of the day, I will most likely have to purchase a new door or spend substantial time calking and smoothing over the cracks in the door caused during the screen removal and replacement. <br /> He fixed the door latch inside easily and well.  He then told me my crooked storm door could not be adjusted or fixed.  So all-in-all I paid for four hours of work, got about two out of it.  In all fairness to Bob, he offered to come back and do additional work, but because of what happened with the door, I am not sure I will take him up on it. I am sure for basic handyman work, he would be a good choice, just didn't work out for me. <br />

The job was completed 4 months after payment was made to Angies List.  Bob wanted to wait until winter weather was over, and that he would call me.  By late April, he had not called.  I contacted Angies List who offered to reach out to him for me, which resulted in a call from Bob.  He had been sick.  It was understandable that his health came first.  However, he pledged to call me the next week and he did not.  When I called him, he continued to promise to follow up with me.  When he was working again, I had the same problems getting a commitment from him.  He always gave me a date, but when I called to confirm, he could not do it then.   After cleaning the deck on a Tuesday, he said he would be back Friday to seal it.  Then it was Monday of the next week.  Then it was Tuesday or Wednesday.  <br /> <br /> Once Bob got going, he did a good job. I will not use him again, however, because I found him to be unreliable and did not follow through on what he said he would do. He did not call confirm or let me know he was not coming.  I had to call him each time, and usually to learn that plans had been altered. <br /> <br /> I gave Bob an overall D, not because of the quality of work, but because of  the ambiguity, non-responsiveness and lack of lowwow through. I don't consider that to be very professional. <br /> <br /> <strong>Angies List gets an F</strong>.  I got so frustrated that he would not finish the work that I called Angies list and they said they could do nothing in the form of a refund or problem resolution with the vendor.  I found this odd, since it was Angies List who had had my money for four months, not the vendor.   In my view, I can no longer trust Angies List.

It got to the point where I could not finish the job. I couldn’t get the bolts in. So I called him and asked him to finish the installation, which he was able to do. He was here less than an hour. He was timely and appropriate. He knew exactly what to do. I would not hesitate to call him again.

I called him when I had locked my keys in my car when I wasn't at home. Not only did he come meet me to get my keys, he had to go through the trunk of my Toyta to get into it. Most people wouldn't have done that, but I was very appreciative of him doing all of that for me. I was amazed that he did that he was able to do this for me and retrieve my keys.  He came without delay and went beyond the call and did what he had to do to help me. It was quite a feat for him to get me into my car. He was pleasant and calm. He assessed the situation and knew what to do and even calmed me down. He was very nice and appropriate.

Bob had to cancel the first appointment we had due to bad weather, but he was very responsive when I got back in touch to have him do the work once it warmed up a little bit. He repaired a fence gate that had begun to drag the ground making it impossible to open all the way. He also reinforced a few sections of the same fence that had begun to come apart from the posts over time. Good work and a very nice guy. Will definitely keep him in mind for future projects. <br />

Not a bad job, felt we received a fair price although quality could have been better. <br />

Bob arrived before his scheduled time, did an amazing job, was very friendly and professional and very easy to work with.  He did the job, and he did it well.  I have no complaints - I am a 100% satisfied customer.  I will definitely hire Bob again. <br />
