I discovered my 10 year old water heater had developed a pretty good leak and called the branch located in Hudson, WI. Brian answered my call and he was very attentive to my needs, quoted me a better price than I was finding elsewhere, and was able to schedule an install in a very short time. I really appreciated his help and understanding of my situation. The install went great and my new water heater is functioning as it should! I'm definitely a repeat customer should the need arise!

Communication was prompt and professional, both furnace and water heater installed as promised. Would definitely hire again. So rare to find a company where everything is just as promised and everything goes smoothly -- I'd highly recommend this company.

Bill, the plumber from Boldt's, was on time, courteous and experienced. After discussion, we decided to repair the faucet. A new faucet had a shorter handle and less access than the old. The new faucet was not necessarily better than what we had. Bill had a Delta repair kit and took apart the old one to repair it.

I am thrilled with the workmanship. It looks like it has always been in the house. It is never easy to retrofit a 95 year old house, but Boldt's made it appear easy. The air conditioning not only works like a charm but the infrastructure looks like it's always been in place. <br /> The team was so easy to have in my home for eight days.

Boldt's arrived when they said they would to do the work. The job was completed as requested and amply training was provided in the operation of the system. There was no mess left behind. I always know I get quality work from Boldt's!! You gotta love the hometome businesses. Thanks for a great product and great workmanship.

The plumber did an excellent job! He was on-time, very professional and very thorough. The repair was under a home warranty, so he could have just quickly done the job to satisfy the home warranty company. But he worked for more than 2 hours to get it just right, even going to a plumbing supply store to get just the right pieces needed for the repair. <br /> I've used Boldt Plumbing before (replaced a toilet, annual furnace inspection, etc.). They're always very professional and do great work. Plus, they're very reasonably priced. I wouldn't consider using any other plumber. <br />

We had gotten an estimate from another Angie's List Plumber (listed as A+), which was over $1000. Called Boldt for a second bid and was astonished at the difference in price. The plumber came on time and was very professional and helpful. He explained everything he was doing and came up with a cheaper way to repair the leak at our well tank. He was extremely detail-oriented and a perfectionist, spending about 15 minutes shimming the toilet over the ceramic floor tile floor so it would be completely stable. He gave us suggestions for keeping our drains clean and dealing with a septic system. He wore booties over his shoes whenever he came into the house and cleaned up after himself, including carting away the old toilet and fixtures. The toilet and faucets work flawlessly, and the two leaks have been completely repaired. I can't imagine how the experience could have been better. I would definitely call Boldt Plumbing again and have already referred them to friends and neighbors. They're the best! <br />

The technician performed the service, although he left a mess in the basement. Then he sat his truck for 45 minutes before leaving. I thought he was on his lunch break or something until I got the bill and realized that they had charged me for all that time. When I lodged a complaint, in person to a manager (Brian), I was told one gets charged for all the time the truck is at the residence. Period. Unbelievable. <br />

"I was saddened to read your comments as we take our customer satisfaction very seriously and strive to give all our customers a great experience. Unfortunately, this work was performed over 3 1/2 years ago, so it would be difficult for us to recall details. That being said, the plumber who did your work has been with us for over 16 years and usually his work is top quality. Our records do show that our plumber installed a Woodford hot/cold outdoor hydrant. Because he was replacing a cold water only hydrant with a hot and cold unit, our plumber also needed to run some pipe and add/replace several valves and fittings. I see you were charged for a total of 1.75 hours of time for this work. Brian was correct that we do bill from the time our truck arrives at your residence until it leaves, based on the truck's GPS report. We do ask our men to spend a few minutes writing up their service reports immediately after they complete their work so that nothing is forgotten and this is often done in the truck. If someone requested this particular work today, we would allow a minimum of 2 hours to complete, so the amount of billing time did not seem out of line. Again, we are very sorry that you felt the amount of time billed for your work was out of line and hope that we are offered an opportunity to make it up to you."

The compressor on our split-head A/C unit quit working after the long winter layoff. Our home warranty company sent out Boldt to evaluate and make repairs. Boldt contacted us within 24 hours to schedule the initial appointment. Once the cause was determined (compressor needed to be replaced), they ordered the parts and made the repair once parts were received. They kept is informed every step of the way and even worked around our vacation schedule. Technicians were prompt, polite and did a thorough job. The A/C runs better now then it ever has. <br />

They arrived close to an hour late, but we had some terrible weather that day and the roads were very slick, so it was understandable. Once they arrived at our house, we walked down to the basement and discussed the issues and he inspected our furnace. He also took the time to answer the questions I had on our A/C, water heater, and overall furnace life and maintenance as we had just moved into our 10-year-old house a month and a half prior. It was determined that a baring in our blower fan had gone out causing the noise. He ran back to his office quick and had it replaced within the hour. He also showed me some basic maintenance items on our furnace. Overall, I was impressed by how thorough they were and that they took the extra time to discuss our systems.

<br />6/13/2014 - Our mail had a letter from the owner of Boldt's stating that the job was done by their standards. My issue yet is according to the ADA they provided the minimum of 16.5. If you're just moving into a new home I should have been asked what height I wanted and told if they couldn't get anything higher. This has been my only issue otherwise they have a great team.

<p>After checking out the old furnace they recommended installing a new furnace due to the fact that the manufacturer no longer</p> <p>was supplying parts for my current furnace. They ordered the new furnace and were able to deliver it earlier than estimated.</p> <p>The installer was very knowledgeable and professional - he was able to remove the old furnace and install the new furnace</p> <p>and thermostat within approximately five hours. He disposed of the old furnace and did an excellent job of cleanup.</p> <p>Also they made sure that I was able to take advantage of the manufacturers replacement discount and the energy rebate.</p> <br />
