Brinks Heating and Cooling

Matt came over to look at my air conditioner and found a refrigerant leak. We agreed we needed a new one. He provided excellent service, however, it was downhill after that. I asked for a Trane instead of the brand the company uses. I was e-mailed a link to make a down payment. Put in my credit card number and realized that they were charging a 3% service charge. Also, they broke the down payment into several smaller payments. I noticed there was one due on June 26 and one on June 30. I asked, via text, if I could make one payment via check, with no service fee. Matt came and picked up the check for $5,000 after I made the previous $1,000+ down payment. That was on June 28, and I was informed via text, that the unit was "at the supply house already and looking at Friday for install day". At 7:16 a.m. on install day, I texted to ask if we were still on for that day and explained that I needed to know if I should stay home from work or not. I did not get a response until almost 10 when I told him that I wanted a response. Austin said that he "tried calling, but it says this company is no longer available". I find it hard to believe that he couldn't figure out how to call me on a phone that he had been texting for several days. He also said that there was "an administrative hold" on my check. Since I already took the day off, I went to the bank to see what they problem was, as there was more than sufficient funds. They couldn't tell me if a hold had been placed on Breathe Right's account, but their was nothing wrong with my account. While I was at the bank, Austin called to tell me that he was sure that the check would go through tomorrow, and they would get it done right away, even on July 4. I find it pretty presumptuous that he thinks that I want to spend my 4th waiting on him yet again. Quite frankly, I think he over booked, probably had a lot of callouts on the day before a long weekend, and instead of being honest from the beginning, he has done a very poor job of shining me on. Disgusted, and don't feel I can trust him.

The pilot on my water heater was malfunctioning and we had received very high quotes from multiple plumbers. Steve contacted me from Angi, came and assessed the issue, concisely communicated the issue, purchased the parts and he and Johnny repaired it the next day. They demonstrated exemplary customer service, fair pricing and excellent work. I've added the Breathe Right number to my contacts and will definitely reuse their services in the event of another mishap.

The whole experience went very well. Stephen and Johnny were awesome from the first phone call to the completion of the job. Professional and very knowledgeable with what they were doing. The response time was awesome and arranged to replace my system the next day. The job was completed that next day and they took the time to make sure I understood what was done but also explained the maintenance to keep up with to make my unit last longer. I was very impressed how neatly the system was installed and looked when done compared to my old unit. I will definitely continue to use Breath Right for any AC / Heat issues I have.

Great company. I have a town home I rent out. The AC went out in mid summer. They came out the next day and had a unit ordered and installed the day after that. Did great work and had a reasonable price. They were not the cheapest price wise but by far the best value. I will always call them for any AC needs I have in the future
