Went great. We have a standard ranch style home so the roof is a traditional open gable. Robert was very accommodating and patient with us while we planned the roof replacement. He was responsive to all our questions and efficient in getting the roof replaced as well as replacing the rakes on the side of the home. He provided all the relevant documentation required for the roof warranty and I would certainly recommend him to anyone looking to replace their roof.

The B & R team was a pleasure to work with through the whole process, from quote to paying after the job was done. We had heard water dripping onto a ceiling on our second floor during a heavy storm, and called several roofers for quotes. Five different companies came out, two of which wanted to replace the whole roof, and three that said it should just be repaired. During that process, several of the companies mentioned that our chimney needed repointing as well, so we added that to the job. Robert Jr. came out for B & R on a Monday after I had spoken with them on a Friday, and I had detailed quotes in my email that night for the work. They were quick to respond to questions by email, text, and phone. Once I got them the signed contract, they were in touch within the week to get the work scheduled, and had their mason and roofing team on site two weeks after I had gotten them the contract. A day and a half later, I had a beautifully repointed chimney with a cap, rotted wood around the base of the chimney replaced, perfect flashing, and a roof that no longer leaks at all. The team kept me informed throughout the process, letting me know about any issues they encountered and keeping me posted on their timelines. After they were done, they cleaned up the site completely (and even cleaned up the leaves and sticks that were in the driveway from a recent storm). The final price came in just slightly over the original quote because they had to replace more wood than they were originally expecting around the base of the chimney - it took more materials and more time than what was covered under the original estimate, but only cost a little more than the quote. All in all a great process, and I'd highly recommend Robert Jr. and the team at B & R for any roofing or chimney related work that you need.

Robert was very courteous and easy to work with he explained what need to be done while making adjustments working with the weather and kept to schedule. We are very happy with the wonderful job he and his team did removing 2 layers of shingles and re-roofing with White Birch Energy Star shingles that looks beautiful ! and the great cleanup job around the yard and dumpster removal. I would highly recommend B&R for their professional services. <br>

<p>Another roofer apparently attempted to frighten us into a full roof replacement. Robert told us we could squeeze a few more years out of our existing roof. You can't beat that level of honesty. He was highly knowledgeable and talked through our concerns. Very professional. He has our future business and we'll happily recommend him to friends in the area.</p> <br />

Due to a leaking third-floor gutter, ice was forming on the sidewalk below -- creating a safety problem for the tenants. As the landlord of this three-tenement house, I called B & R Home Improvement and spoke with Bob StPierre. He cleaned the downspout and sealed the gutter to fix the problem. I now plan to have him do more work for me, as Bob is great to work with. I highly recommend him and his company. <br />

We are very pleased with the work Robert and his crew did. From start to finish he was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions in a clear manner. His quote was the lowest of 3 we received and although that wasn't the sole deciding factor, it certainly didn't hurt! <br /> On the first day, the crew arrived exactly on time and got right to work. One guy was assigned to clean up duty and kept our yard as neat as possible. Everyone was very polite. The old roof was a tear-off and luckily there were no structural issues, so our original estimate was what we paid. We feel that it was a very fair price and would recommend B&R. <br />

<p>Found about 15 nail pops. They put adhesive on backs of shingles, then nailed shingle back in, covered nail head with caulk. </p> <p>They resealed around all pipe collars, vents, and plashing around chimney. Went into attic and checked for leaks to interior.</p> <p>Provided observations about condition of waterproof membrane / felt paper beneath shingles, as they could observe and provided verbal recommendations. I was happy with the courtesy, professionalism of workers. </p> <br />

After purchased the "deal", was contacted by the provider within 24 hours. However, I was told the provider was overbooked and cannot meet with a desirable timeline. When I asked the provider to provide a new timeline to meet, I didn't hear back from him. After a week, the guy showed up on the weekend without notice. He put up the ladder and examined the roof. Hammered down few loose nails and was done within an hour. <br /> I feel $169 for less an hour service was not really a deal. A week after I noticed the same provider, same service ad on the site. This time, price was dropped to $129. I don't think I would purchase any of the "deals" that Angie's List advertise ever again. In fact, I'd advice others not to buy in any of the deals from the site. <br /> <br /> <br />

We are not in control of how much maintenance your roof may need. With you having a smaller house and a newer roof there wasn't really much for us to maintain. Angie's list sets all of the prices for the "deals" and only gives us a small percent of the actual price. As a company we have received mixed reviews for the roof maintenance packages we have performed. Either customers are completely satisfied or feel they had paid to much for the work that was performed. B & R contacted me promptly after the initial contact via Angie's list. We had a couple of conversations over the phone about the job followed by an inspection of the problem and a prompt phone call with estimate for two repair options. Bob suggested that I go with the lesser expensive option and said that he would only advise me if he was confident it would solve the problem. The work was completed in less time than anticipated. The job was prepped, completed, and the property was completely cleaned to my great satisfaction. I contacted 5 contractors for this job. One over said the job was too small and I never heard back from the others. B & R is the only company that followed through. I am extremely please with the service and the work and I would not hesitate to contact them again in the future. I own rental property and maintain my Mother's house. I feel that I have finally found a competent and reliable company to handle my needs for all three houses. <br />

In most cases it isn't fully necessary for us to inspect the inside of the house, especially if you claim you have not had any issues in the past. If you roof only has 3-5 years left then it is very possible that with a heavy rain storm you could experience some leaks regardless of our roof maintenance as even some newer roofs may. With our roof maintenance package we seal everything that we can possibly find that may cause issues but, with heavy rain usually comes strong wind that can push the water into the smallest crevices and cause a leak. I apologize for no one getting back to you as we have been completely overwhelmed with work and are trying to get to everyone in a timely fashion. I would still be willing to come out and take a second look at the roof if you are willing to have us. Thank you, Robert St.Pierre Jr."
