Brian's Painting & Remodeling

I could not be happier with Brian Martin, the quality of his work, and his professionalism. When my mom needed to sell her home, and because I live out of state, I decided to join Angie's List. I searched the lists for the kind of work I needed completed and came away with three or four candidates. My interviews were conducted over the telephone. Brian's Painting & Remodeling was not the least expensive quote I received, nor was it the most expensive, but I felt the most comfortable with Brian. I did fly out to my mother's house in Moore and met Brian after he had completed painting the exterior of my mom's 2200-sq-ft home. I loved the quality of his work, and we walked through the home interior pointing out areas needing special attention. Brian and his crew did an excellent job on the house interior, too. One particular job worth recounting: I asked Brian to repaint/stain many of the interior doors. (My sister had previously cleaned the doors and doorknobs with a cleanser that dissolved and discolored the original finish.) Brian and his crew removed the doors, refinished them, and replaced them. They looked great. Later, after carpet people had replaced the old carpet for new, I had to call Brian to come back and touch up where the carpet guys had banged up walls and doors. I would definitely hire Brian again--without so much as a second thought. In fact, my sister lives in Shawnee, and I'm trying to convince him to go out there to work on her house.

I am a general contractor and have used Brian on all of my new homes and remodeling projects. He has a great team of contractors and they are very professional in what they do. His price does not change....unless you change the scope of work... so he is reliable and trustworthy to do what he says he will do, in the time frame he says he will do it and for the cost he said it would be.

Brian was very professional and timely. He was able to accommodate our schedule to get work completed when the space was not being used by our business. He did an excellent job matching texture, and his crew was tidy and neat throughout. I would definitely use him again!

It went great. They had it done in a day. Brian was wonderful to work with and the two painters he sent out were respectful, kind, quiet, pleasant, and professional. I couldn't be more pleased, and relieved to have the job finished. I had first contacted two other contractors, also from Angie's List, who were within 5 miles of where I live in Choctaw, OK and neither of them wanted the job, but Brian came from the far side of Oklahoma City to do the job for me at a reasonable price and in a reasonable time frame. Though he had some other jobs going he was willing to accommodate my schedule, which I really appreciated. I hope to hire Brian to do some interior work on my mom's house. I highly recommend him.

Brian subcontracted the job out because of an injury. Drop cloths were not used resulting in paint on new floors and countertops. Painted on all of the ceiling fans and destroyed some expensive drapes that we placed in the garage to donate, they cut them up and used them for paint rags. No tape lines, horrible lines!! Didn't prep walls, broke a mirror in one bathroom and scratched one in another bathroom. Within a month, paint was chipping and peeling off of the kitchen cabinets inside and out. Painted over outlets, light switches, door knobs and hinges.

Brian was great!! He listened to what I was wanting and the concerns I had on our ceilings, he told me how he would make sure everything looked perfect when they were finished. It did look perfect and I am so pleased with the work. They were on time, honest and trustworthy (I let them work while I was away at the office), cleaned up the area they were in and even took the time to hang up a piece of artwork for me after the walls had dried since my walls are so tall. Very great!!

<p>Brian came out to inspect our investment property and emailed us a very thorough breakdown of the cost. He and his crew did an awesome job. They painted every inch of our property, from the trim and cabinets to the wall and ceilings and all the exterior and it looks fantastic. Brian is very easy to work and communicate with. We had three other bids for the job and although they were all similarly priced Brian was willing to negotiate some different cost factors to work within our budget. It took a little over three weeks to finish all the work and that was with some of his crew getting sick and unable to work so we were really happy. He also let me know that if we find any places that need touching up to just call and they will take care of it. Happy customers and we will use him again! </p> <br />

.As in my past experiences with Brian, they showed up on time, stayed busy all day and cleaned up every day.  He is not the cheapest in the business but I liked the professionalism and attention to detail that is often lacking in contractors.  His bids were very detailed (including breakdown of prices) as to the scope of work to be done. I was pleased with the finished product and could tell that everything he billed for had been done. Brian stayed in contact daily with issues and progress.  I would recommend him for any interior/exterior painting projects. <br /> He has actually done exterior painting for two of my neighbors after he did our exterior work in September. <br />

He responded very fast and worked around my schedule. Got all the work done in a day and was extremely professional. <br />

Brian showed up promptly to do an estimate after we called.  The estimate was detailed and gave us some options on quality of products to be used that allowed some control of the price.  We chose the highest quality Sherwin-Williams paint that they make, and the higher quality siding.  That meant our price was at the top end of his estimate, but that was our choice. <br /> We had two higher estimates and one that was a little lower.  Brian's estimate gave us a lot more confidence that he knew what he was talking about, plus we enjoyed meeting him and were impressed by him, so we selected him for the job. <br /> Due to weather they were delayed in getting started on our job, and it took a few days longer than they anticipated.  However, we were in no hurry, and had told him that, so any delay was not a problem. <br /> The whole job was beautifully done, but we were especially impressed with some of the carpentry work that was done getting the new siding blended in with the old.  Both the carpenter and the painters worked closely with us as the job progressed, so that we were able to make a few changes along the way, and any concerns that developed were addressed and taken care of.  <br /> The highest compliment I can give their work is the fact that in the four months since they finished the job we have not found a single thing that we are unhappy about, or that we wish had been done a little differently. <br /> <br /> <br />

Wonderful!  Brian and his wife had just had a baby, so our starting date was delayed a bit.  Inspite of this, Brian called when he said he would, showed up when he said he would, and did what he said he'd do.  His helper, Fernando, worked steadily when Brian wasn't present, which wasn't much of the time.  We were thrilled with his personality and his integrity.  HIGHLY recommended! <br />

Brian performed his profession In a outstanding manner.The repair that was done on my closet wall was excellent. His quality Is beyond measure and I would refer him to anyone that Is In need of drywall repair are painting. <br />

Went great overall.  There were some snags with the paint matching initially.  It was not off much, we still liked the color.  But, to make up for this, Brian included some additional services and repainted some trim which did not come out very well.  If we brought something up, Brian made sure it was completed to our satisfaction.  In the end, we got a very good quality paint job and we were very satisfied.  This speaks more to me than a job that goes without any hiccups.  Brian made sure we were satisfied with our paint job and when we spoke about issues we were not happy with, he made it right without any fighting.  The dedication Brian has to customer satisfaction is a big reason why I will continue to use him for my painting needs.  He even worked an entire Sunday because we needed to get our house painted to go on the market.  He and his people were always on time, showed up when they said they would and worked.  I never felt I needed to "babysit" his guys when Brian wasn't on site (I've had that happen before).  I would highly recommend this guy, because in the event that something might go wrong, this guy has proven to me he will not leave a job until the customer is satisfied.  Unfortunately, that's becoming harder and harder to find these days. <br />

Completed the painting to include the trim in 3 separate locations within the time that was quoted and requested. <br />
