Brick It

Sills were installed per contract on September 19. Not all cracks were tuck pointed.. We called Brick It and spoke with Michael Preston about uncompleted work on September 29 at 1:59 pm. We were told it would be finished as soon as possible. Mike stated he would finish it himself if necessary. It now late December and numerous phone calls later still no resolution. Phone calls now go unanswered. The door sill was installed over a large crack which was not tuck pointed

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - PLEASE READ. We agreed on a price for cultured stone to be installed on my fireplace. I wrote Mike Preston a check for 50% of total project for material and deposit. I should have known when he called me stating that his bank had a 14-day hold on my cleared check that something was not right with him and his business ethics. Mike promised that my project would be a 2 day job as well, but when his laborer showed up, he laughed and said not a chance. After day 3, Mike came back and asked for more money because he needed to pay his laborer. After day 7, the project was still not completed and Mike stopped returning calls to me and his laborer, whom he never paid. Due to the project taking longer than the promised 2 days, I was left responsible for paying the laborer the additional days (which was much more than original contracted price) and still have not heard from Mike Preston. His laborer informed me that he still owes him on previous jobs and that this is not the first time that this has occurred with Brick It/Mike Preston.

Very well. Initial call returned within an hour. Michael arrived for appointment exactly on time, explained what he would do and what it would cost. He cut through dry wall and removed outside bricks. I had already ordered the door from Amazon and was mistakenly shipped the door without proper installation kit, so he had to make a second trip out for the actual installation, but did not charge me anything further. Very satisfied. He is a very friendly, very pleasant and very professional man and I highly recommend him.

The owner was forthright and responded to my inquiry promptly. It was a small job, yet the workman took the utmost care and attention in completing the work.  It was a job well done.  I had contacted many contractors  previously who would not even come out to give me an estimate because it was a small job. I appreciate  the fact the the owner and worker took time to get a good match on the brick and treated my small job, and my property, like it was their own.

They did a great job of explaining the process and completing the work in very short order. They cleaned up when they were done and my chimneys look great. I was very pleased with the work.

My decorative stone is centered and the porch and sidewalk look awesome. Mike is very focused on customer satisfaction.

Promised completion of two days was met.  High quality work.

It went fabulously. He kept me informed every step of the way and made sure I understood all that was going on. No work was done without my prior approval. He made appropriate recommendations for other contractors as necessary for other needed services. I'm incredibly satisfied. I would highly recommend him and I would use him again in the future.
