They did a good job but the follow up was just not very good. I am now starting to have issues and I need them to come back out.

We used him when we first came out here, and it was a fiasco. He said it would cost this much for the work, he came out and did quite a bit of work. I paid him, because he said that is how much I owed him, and at the time, we were having so much work done, and it was a chunk of money. The guy who owns the money, said they owe us money because the work was not completed, but I know I will never see it. We got him from Angie's List. We used him when we moved here 2 years ago. His name was Terry. It was completely legit, and the guy who did the work said that is what he said should be collected. I didn't use him for other services, because I didn't like his procedure. A couple of things were done wonderfully, and a couple of things, I could have done myself. The pricing was very fair. The one guy who replaced the two windows that were cracked was done wonderfully. He was very good, and very clean. They did a nice job with the windows, it was nice and neat. I didn't like the responsiveness part. I told him that this is what I need fixed, and he asked how next Tuesday is, and he came out and looked at it, then said he would send someone to fix it. I told him what I needed done, so he should have come that day, and fix it. They seemed very knowledgeable at what they were doing, I don't expect someone to turn up in nice clothes to do that kind of work. The guy who came to do the windows was very good. I didn't have to stand there and tell him what to do, he just did it.

They were giving me a price on something else and it was way too high. The $99 was all I paid for that visit but I wanted them to install one of the keypads on my garage door. I had taken the old one off because it wasn't working and I bought a new one. They were going to come back and finish it but in the meantime, the guy did a few other things for me. He never came back and that was not resolved by them. As a matter of fact, I had somebody else do the installation. The $99 was fine to do a few minor things but the one that he gave me an estimate on (the major stuff I wanted done) was two to three times higher than anybody else. They did follow through on the date that they said they would come.

Service was professional, prompt, and done professionally. Repaired damaged area and blended paint to ceiling well without the cost of re-painting entire ceiling. Also, made sure there were not any additional leak points that could cause damage in the future. <br /> <br />

Terry was very lax in answering messages and the crew was good. The price was a little high .I am having a problem with some of their work and he hasn't responded to my call. I had to fix the problem myself.

They were on time, very courteous, professional and cleaned up everything after they were done. I purchased a deal through Angie's list, so they had a set amount of time. I think they could have been a little more efficient and gotten one more very small project completed in the allotted time, but that's my only critical comment.

I purchased a Big Deal for 4 hours for $99.00. The deal expired, but Terry Harder agreed to extend the deal for me. He sent 2 men to install the crown molding. They did an excellent job. Everything was well done. They were a little late in arriving but called me twice to make me aware. I'm totally satisfied and highly recommend them. Terry was also a pleasure to deal with. <br />

Great experience from the initial call to completion. Doug did a great job. He worked quickly, kept the area neat. I have other work to be done and have asked them to contact. I will definitely recommend to others.

I used the special $100 for four hours coupon. Terry was prompt in returning my call and coming to my home and discussing the work. The guys that came were very pleasant and professional. Very hard workers, never really saw them take a break! I am happy with the job they did. I am especially grateful to Terry for working with me on scheduling the work. My crazy schedule got even crazier, and he took it all in stride. I will use them again, and highly recommend them. <br />

This has been a very refreshing experience. I contracted Terry Harder's company based on prior Angie's List reviews and was completely satisfied with my choice. Brighton Construction was prompt, courteous, and provided excellent follow up while the work was being done. Their work crews were friendly and knowledgeable. Their final clean up was excellent. Terry was the best. Completed the job as promised in about 40 minutes. Also saw there was a problem with the cabinet hinge, took off the bad parts, told me where to get replacements and how to install them. Will use this service again (all ready scheduled the next job). Very professional and personable. Would recommend to anyone. You will not be unhappy. <br />

Nick came out to do the work. He was on time, and very pleasant and professional. Before starting the work, I walked him through the house and showed him some other work I'd need done in the future. He called his manager, Terry, who came by the house a couple of hours later to discuss the additional work so he could provide an estimate. Both Nick and Terry were friendly, courteous and professional. The quality of Nick's work was excellent and he cleaned up thoroughly when finished. Terry explained what they would do with the future work and answered all of my questions. He followed up the next day with an estimate via email. I look forward to working with Brighton Construction again and I would recommend the company, Terry and Nick to others. <br />

I highly recommend Brighton Construction. Terry (the owner) is very polite and pleasant to work with. He was very good about answering and returning phone calls (always within 24 hours). <br /> He came out within a couple days of my phone call to inspect the loose piece of siding/counter-flashing on the second story of my colonial home. He told me that if I were patient, he could have someone out to fix it when his crew was already in the area. That would save me a lot of money. I told him that was fine as long as I did not have to worry about water damage. He assured me that there would be no damage, and he explained to me in detail how he would repair the problem. <br /> Over the next couple of weeks, Terry stayed in touch with me about when he would have his team in my area so that they could tackle my small job. The flashing was fixed within a couple weeks of our first meeting. Terry and his team sealed and then screwed down the flashing. I was not home when the job was done, and Terry called me that evening to let me know he completed the work and that there was no further damage to the roof or house from the loose flashing. <br /> The repair looks great. There was no mess left behind. and there was no damage to the landscaping which surrounds my house. <br /> I will definitely call Terry and Brighton Construction next time I need a handyman service (which is frequently!). I also recommended Terry to my Mom, who is planning a full kitchen remodel early in 2014. Thanks so much! <br />

I bought the special deal on Angie's list for 4 hours of work for $100--a great deal. <br /> I called and left a message and owner Terry got back to me pretty quickly. He asked about all the jobs I had in mind in order to tell me what supplies I should have ready for the handymen and to properly match his men's skill to my jobs. <br /> I had thought Terry planned to send two men for two hours but only one came. He was quite quick however and managed to finish all the work in three hours so I was very pleased. He was friendly and professional and answered all my questions. Since the deal was for four hours Terry agreed that I could use the last hour in the future. <br /> The only issue I had was that the power was switched off in the garage and not turned back on so we had to figure that out on our own. Terry didn't get back to me right away but my husband figured it out before it became a problem. <br /> Overall I am very pleased with Brighton Construction and plan to use them again for their handyman services. Terry was very easy-going, friendly, and pleasant to deal with. <br />

All the work performed for the coupon was done very well. Doug is a good worker and was quick as well as professional. I did try to book additional work with Terry, the owner, but he did not get back to me with a quote to remove and rebuild two decks along with a landing and 14 stairs. I called him several times, emailed, and texted, but he said he was waiting for quotes from places like Home Depot and Lowe's I believe. Finally we went with another contractor who was able to give us a quote within a day, and completed the work over the next week and a half. By the time Terry contacted me again, four weeks later, our deck was done. Terry said he had an emergency in Florida and was unable to contact us during that time. Having been in customer service for years, it seems to me if you had an emergency, you'd give your open items to someone in your company so that they could call all the customers and explain what happened instead of making them wait in limbo, stupidly thinking you are interested in doing their little project. I notice in an earlier post a few months ago, Terry had another emergency in Florida and did not return phone calls for quite awhile. Before this all happened, Terry was the one we wanted to go with for our decks, but he made it impossible to do so. Even Doug, the worker, asked if I had gotten a quote yet...turns out Doug would have been one of the ones building our deck so he was looking forward to the work. <br />
