Bright's estimator arrived when scheduled, and responded within a week with a thorough written estimate and proposed terms. Initially, responses to my questions about the bid, submitted by e-mail and phone, went unanswered for several weeks, but as I was about to give up on this firm, Bright's manager responded to all the questions, apologized for the time lapse (due to a change in communications management), and agreed to a more competitive price. Subsequent communications were very responsive and we quickly negotiated and executed our contract without difficulty. We then agreed to start the job on a date that worked well for my schedule. Bright's painters began on schedule; carefully and skillfully repaired holes and cracks, primed walls and trim, and painted final coats to my satisfaction. Each day they arrived when promised, worked efficiently and carefully, and cleaned up in preparation for the next day. They responded quickly to my questions and requests, and made touch-ups whenever requested. Most days they worked 8 AM till nearly 5 PM with a lunch break, with a crew of two (three on a couple of days), and finished the job in just over two weeks. Bright's painters and management were a pleasure to work with. The quality of Bright's work was excellent, and they protected my furnishings and wood floors carefully. When I discovered several small omissions a few days after concluding the job, Bright's crew manager came back two days later to correct the omissions to my satisfaction.

They started the ceiling before Thanksgiving, and were to finish the job on Friday, after the holiday. They didn’t show up. A week went by, and they promised to send someone Monday morning. They didn’t show up. The paint pan, roller, and masks are still on the counter. I called once again, but they no longer respond. Sadly, my husband paid him before the holiday since w2e had used them before and thought them honorable. They are not.

They did a great job, but a little forgetful on specifics. They came back at no extra cost to re-prime things using the paints we wanted and paint a couple things they forgot to get (inside a closet for example.) They were apologetic once I pointed out they forgot. So I'd still use them again, but make sure I put down in writing exactly what I wanted and that way they would remember. They also came to look and give a quote the day after I called and were able to paint two weeks later. They did a good job and it was nice to have it done while we were away.

Found via Angie's List, saw they had done work on old triple deckers before, so I contacted them. They were prompt and courteous both before and during the job. Came out last May, looked at the exterior, talked through what we needed done, and agreed to the project. They subcontracted the carpentry work out to a guy, Ruben, they work with regularly. This was all included in the contract both we and they signed last June which has a 2 year warranty on workmanship and materials so we were fine with that. When we noticed some issues with the work 4-5 months later, I sent them photos and they were again responsive. Stated they sent the same subcontractor carpenter out to verify the work that needed to be done, knew what they had to do to rectify, and because it was November at the time, asked for us to contact them back in Spring. Our contract spells out any customer disputes be corrected in 60 days, but fine, it's New England so I get the weather being a factor. Contacted them as requested this Spring, got the run around with emails back and forth over several weeks, including them claiming they tried to call me (no calls recorded on my phone or my bill from their number and no voicemails left), and then finally they sent someone out. Representative shows up, we point out the EXACT same issues they agreed to correct last Fall but now suddenly it's not their issue, they only cover the paint aspect and not the carpentry even though it's in the contract and we paid them for it, and even tried to deny there was a carpenter on the project at all! He kept interrupting when we tried to explain the issues saying this wasn't his problem, actually laughed at the fact that we were trying to hold them accountable for their subcontractor's work, walked off mid conversation, hopped in his truck, and left. The level of unprofessionalism and disrespect of a customer is something I've never seen. I've emailed them several times since and have photographic evidence of the condition of those specific spots mentioned before to prove they were not existing issues. No response yet.

Bright Painting may have converted me to the benefits of hiring painters! They did my living/dining are, entry and ceilings including my kitchen ceiling. The ceilings had some peeling paint (due to calcimite paint underneath) and water stains. Bright Painting did an excellent job. The work looks so much better than what I can do! Plus, it was done start to finish in 2 days. I am very happy!

I took three quotes and Bright was in the middle, but I had worked with them a few years ago on an exterior painting project at same home. I was pleased with their work then, so I chose to work with them again. This is an excellent company to work with and I am very happy with the result. Workers were prompt, efficient, careful and clean. Quality is excellent. Also company owner, Celso, very attentive to my scheduling needs. No muss, no fuss, project completed.

They did a great job. My cabinets are very old and needed an uplift. They came out better than I thought possible. I was impressed with the lengths they went to, to make them look good. They were very neat as well. You would never know that there were people sanding and painting when they were done for the day. I will definitely use them in the future for any painting projects.

Pretty good. I thought another section would have been done but that was my utter lack of understanding of the prep work needed. Looks great. Only issue was resolved with great communication by owner.

Excellent! Can not say enough about the work Bright painting did. We hired Arthur and his team while we still lived out of state for a house we were buying. He was quick to respond, answer all of our questions (we had a lot!) and accommodate some special requests. The work ethic and quality was top notch. We have hired quite a few professionals that have worked on our house and Bright painting stands out across the board. We love our cabinets! Arthur was here himself on the last day to help and wrap up the final touches. We would hired Bright Painting again. They offer quality work, reasonable price and excellent customer service.

Not only did they come on time and were courteous and friendly they cleaned up each evening and also at the end of the job in the most thorough way. I will definitely hire them again. Maybe this was on a bit higher end of the cost scale but worth every penny.

Everything went as planned. They showed up when they were supposed to. Did the job according to schedule even though it was a tight deadline and a lot of work. They even showed up on Saturday to make sure we finished on time. The paint job itself was well done and our condo left in good shape when they were finished.

I couldn't be happier. Arthur came to my house to look at the work and gave me a date. As it turned out, the painter was sick that day, so we had to reschedule. But the painter came on the promised day, did a very good job, and finished quickly. The work began as a Angie's List deal, but required a second day. The additional price was very fair.
