He was very polite and he did good work. I can't tell where he repaired it.

David built a stone mailbox for me. The one I wanted had a lot of intricate stones of various sizes and shapes. It was a lot of work to get just right and David did an awesome job. He is truly an old world craftsman. Very nice guy who made sure the work was exactly to my liking. And his price was less than half what a big company quoted me.

The company did a really nice job at repairing the chimney. They were not wasteful with materials and did a great job at cleaning up the project site. Due to the nature of the job I was also assured they would work with me if any issues come up; Good hire!!!

Britton Masonry did an excellent job. Even though the job ended up being more work than it seemed, they still charged a fair price and I'm very happy with the results of the chimney repair and the new brick flower bed.

Mr. Britton is an absolute wonder to work with. I contacted him for pricing to add flagstones to the top of an existing 10 x 10 patio and to discuss some other work I needed done. In a nutshell he installed the stone, poured a sidewalk and finished it with flagstone to connect two separate patio areas and replaced a wooden column on my pergola that was rotting and settling into a masonry feature. He quoted a fair price, had some great ideas on how to make the project better, kept me informed in the days leading up to the work and followed up to be sure everything was good on my end. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Mr. Britton and his assistant were complete professionals. They arrived as promised and thoroughly repaired all mortar cracks, even cracks not seen during the initial bid review. They ensured the work area was cleaned up before leaving. I give this company two thumbs up!

His price was very competitive, his work and workers were very professional, he was timely, cleaned up the work site during and after the job, very pleasant to work with. They did a marvelous job constructing the front porch brick columns. They found a beautiful stone slab to use as a header and footer for the columns and finished the stone edges by hand chiseling a clean and rustic edge on the stone. They finished all the work in a single day, caused no damage at all to the surrounding holly bushes, and left the site clean as a whistle. The price was reasonable and I was so pleased with their work that I plan to hire them back later this year to build a brick grill surround in the back yard. They are the best!!!!!

They came out a few days after contacting them. They did the work described to the best of my knowledge. They came out the next day to seal the mortar. I say "to my knowledge" because they didn't at least take a picture of what they had done. The only way to tell for sure will be for me to get up on my roof to check. Most of the damage was facing the peak of my roof, so I can't see it from the ground.

I feel compelled to write a review because I was thoroughly pleased with David Britton's and Jason's work. I hired Mr Britton to replace cracked bricks, and do the attendant mortar repair, on an exterior house wall. First off, my estimate of the number of bricks actually in need of replacement was a little short. I estimated 15 bricks; it turned out to be 18 bricks. Nonetheless, he honored his initial estimate, despite my offer to adjust it, and provided an itemized receipt upon completion reflecting that. He was extremely magnanimous on the matter. Both David Britton and his assistant Jason are clearly experienced professionals. They're also courteous and a pleasure to do business with. They worked with impressive efficiency and focus and completed the repairs in a very reasonable timeframe; even so, they were both also cordial and more than willing to answer questions I had on the process as I occasionally observed. The repaired section of wall is visually indistinguishable from the adjacent sections (mortar matched, etc.). Very pleased with the finished work. The cleanup following the repairs was thorough and conscientious as well. It was a pleasure to do business with Britton Masonry and I am a very satisfied customer.

Very well. When I inquired online and sent a photo, I thought I would have to have the whole mailbox structure torn down and rebuilt. But David said he thought he could do a partial repair of the top third. Our mailbox was totally rusted out, the mortar in the bricks at the top of the structure was chinked and missing allowing rain to get into the mailbox. Plus we wanted a locking mailbox. We did not have bricks to match so David brought rock that enhanced the brick color. I did not want another rounded top so he was able to make the top more flat and I think the mailbox structure looks more modern now. He and his partner started around noon (delay because of vehicle issues for him) and finished at 4 pm. Cleaned up the area very well. We were very pleased with the outcome.

We are very pleased with David's work. He contacted us promptly and showed up with his helper exactly when he said he would. He gave us a few pattern options and after we decided what we wanted, they started work. They got about half done the first day and finished up the second day, coming back to acid wash the brick a couple of days later due to inclement weather. The new bricked patio looks awesome, and like it has always been a part of the house. We actually had two different kinds of brick - similar but not identical - and the guys were able to combine the two so that the end result is cohesive and pleasing. We would not hesitate to recommend David Britton, and would definitely hire him again.

David did an exceptional job and took his time to select the perfect stone and/or cut stones to make it fit. He was the best contractor I have ever hired and wish he would do carpentry work!

Amazing! Couldn't have gone better. They do amazing work. I know that once it is fully cured and painted (I'm having the whole house painted) you will never be able to tell there were windows (or a crack) there. David and Jason met with me to give me the bid and they also did the work (unlike a lot of contractors who bid the job and then send somebody else out to actually do the work). They even helped me finish repairing a few cracks in the mortar that I had decided to do myself to save money (and they let me borrow their grinder!). They cleaned up everything after they were done. I will definitely call them again if I ever need a brick mason.

Excellent! David and Jason performed well and I really feel I received the best value for my expense. Supporting metal straps were attached to the house frame every two feet for the 8 long vertical joints requiring repair. David cut 4 control joints to mitigate future mortar repair around the windows. He also pointed out how a heavy awning was only attached to my brick and not to my house framing, creating a dangerous curvature and potential future collapse of my brick fascia. David re-attached the awning to the house frame as it should for safe overall support. David also repaired my chimney and installed a new roof cap.

David was prompt, professional and a true masonry artist. He located our brick and it was a great match. They are perfectionists and a joy to watch. They perfectly rebuilt our mailbox and we are using them for further work. It's nice to find a team that takes such pride in their work!

They did a great job. You can't even tell where the cracks were and the mailbox looks better than when we bought the house in 1994. It was a hot, humid day and they worked all day, very focused.
