Weed mat was incorrectly installed and came loose. Mulch slid off the weed mat to expose mat. He acknowledged mat and mulch needed to be re-done. He has not returned to fix his job, and he will not answer phone calls or text messages. He just walked away. The bushes also were not planted.

Beware! Chris is a low life loser and lazy jerk that scammed a 70 year old newly widowed woman out of $1,900. He’s a liar and not a real professional capable of the work he promises. He has every excuse in the book - pregnant wife car accident, truck broken, rain (when it’s hot and sunny). When he takes your call while working his liar act, he is apologetic and says bless you like he’s a godly man. FAKE A** LIAR. Please, please AVOID at all costs. The positive reviews have to be fake especially when you look at the date the work was complete vs date review left. He was hired to remove two tress, landscape front and back, and power wash. He showed once and pulled a few weeds for 30 minutes and left a mess that I had to clean up. Now he won’t respond at all to calls or texts. If you see this thief - run! Or call the police. People like him have no conscious so the damage and stress he caused my family member means nothing to him. Angi - you should be ashamed that your reputation and site is used to host fake f liars and scammers like Chris Madewell.

He did not finish the job. He laid two pallets of sod in a very hap-hazard fashion. He did not prepare the ground for the sod. He said he would be back to fill in the gaps, and level the sod. He never came back. He left his trash.

It was fine at first. I requested a quote and was promptly contacted. I got a fair estimate to mow my lawn once a week. It was mowed that day. The following week, they didn't show up to mow the lawn. I called late in the afternoon. Was told they were delayed due to rain and if they didn't get to it that day, they would do it first think the next morning. They didn't show up or call the next day and now I have a scary looking lawn and seek someone reliable. Based on other reviews which are all 5 stars, I can only think that since I wasn't looking for additional work, I am not an important customer and expendable.

He was on time and affordable.

He was absolutely fabulous, a lifesaver in my situation. We were getting ready to list our house and the other landscaper/ lawn service cancelled. They worked with our time schedule and were able to complete everything on time! They are the only service I will use now.
