Bruno Hardwood Floors

I purchased this wonderful historic home and needed hardwood flooring throughout the top floor. A friend recommended Bruno Hardwood Floors, I contacted Mr Bruno, he came to give me an estimate (which was a reasonable estimate), and after I agreed to have him perform the work, he brought his crew in to remove the old floor and put down the new one. The job was done professionally and when they were done, they cleaned up and discarded all of the trash. About a year and a half later, I had a heating pipe break in my family room and the water destroyed the wood flooring. I did not hesitate to call Donny to come and replace that floor, he did and it too, looks beautiful. He and his team are consummate professionals and take a great deal of pride in what they do. I’ve recommended him to a neighbor who saw my floors and needs new wood flooring in her historic home. I hope this review was helpful as I know the number of bad contractors out there but, Donny is not only good, honest, reliable and decent, his work and finished product are superb.

Bruno floors made the whole process seamless. Very easy to work with/Bruno and his guys showed up on time and were very accommodating. I was not home at the time of the installation. When I arrived home, I noticed that there were 26 (I counted them) defective boards installed on the floors. I confronted Mr. Bruno the next day about them, he became very excited and agreed to have his workman change only two which were in the center of the floor and looked like they had spots on them. I am very unhappy with how the floors look. The manufacturer which I contacted told me I should have stayed home and watched the work as it progressed and they were not responsible.

Don is a really nice guy to work with. He's hard to get in touch with, and doesn't always call you back. He doesn't always show up when he says he will. We had a little misunderstanding about the initial quote, but he was willing to work it out with us. He did a wonderful job - the floors are gorgeous, and he cleaned up well. We called him about a dent that a falling dish made, asking if he would come back and fix it for us, but he never called me back. I didn't pursue it. I would definitely use him again, but only if he fixes my dent!
