Overall a good job.. They had to repair some bricks on the side of my house that were turned in.. so they had to set up scaffolding, etc. Overall good... when it was time to leave I was told that I needed to pay more because it was over the time limit over the deal.. when I was just asking 'why?' to understand I got a bit of attitude and the man raised his tone at me... which I did not appreciate... so that was something minor..... But the work was good and that's what matters.. right?
Part of the job was not exactly as I envisioned, but Bill said he wanted to make sure I was totally satisfied and came back to change it. He was very responsive and did nice work.
Technician responded on time but did not have the color brick mortar needed for the repair. Technician returned a couple days later and made the necessary repairs. The work was very professional. I would not hesitate to use BT Stone again.

It was very good and they were very nice. He was a little bit slow in responding to me but he was busy. I would recommend him to others.

I thought they were very good. There was kind of a communication mix up that could have been as much my fault as it was his. I thought the work itself they did was very good though.

It was average. The communication was poor and he uses an answering service, it was very hard to get a call back. The work was satisfactory. They cleaned up.

By Feb this year, I noticed the mortar was disintegrating in several places and got in touch. He had me text photos and said he would be out in a week or so. Never saw him but it was rainy so I waited about a month and got in touch again. Sent multiple emails, called several times, and texted with no response from him. Then I had my fiance call from a different number and he answered, said text him some photos and he would be out. Texted the photos and address. Zero response, again. Tried messaging and calling and emailing again. Nothing. This guy does shoddy work and his warranty apparently doesn't exist.
He was nice enough, but the work was kind of sloppy. There were other people in the neighborhood that actually bought the deal and they told me about it. We all live in these townhouses where the masonry work on our front porch is starting to look kind of rough. He came out and I think he had too many people to do in too short a time. So he was rushing and it was getting dark. I don't think he wanted to come back another day. So circumstances kind of alter all cases, but I think that most of the people that he did were happy. And I'm not unhappy, I just think it was a little bit sloppy and I don't think it needed to be that way. But the longer it's done, the less I care if it is sloppy or not. I think the pricing was fair. It sounded better than it was. We didn't get four hours of masonry work, but for $99 I certainly couldn't complain. He was responsive, because he was in the area. He was trying to do three or four people in the same little vicinity. I probably would use him again, but I would have a talk with him. We would be a little bit more knowledgeable this time.

I will not use them again, but the work they did looks sturdy. Doesn't match the rest of the house/brickwork, but they did make the whole section of the front steps blend in with the repaired area. I took off the day of the repair to be there to ask questions and see the work done. Mid morning, no-one had arrived and I called both the office and a cell number I had. no one answered or responded to my message, so I went in to work. Later a roommate called to tell me that someone was there doing the work. I have questions about the work that I should have been able to ask during the job. They were done before I returned. I got a message on the day they finished saying they were done (Tues?) I worked all day t/w/th/f and was not able to call them during business hours. Friday night I got a msg from that afternoon from wife/secretary? asking for payment...which they would have gotten the day of if they'd arrived in the morning or returned my calls to tell me they'd be arriving later. At 915pm Fri there was banging on my door. I ignored it initially as I was already in bed and no one should have ben calling that late. More pounding got me to yell through the door at who it was. A woman announced that they were from BT Stone there for payment. I was shocked and we went back and forth a bit before I agreed to open the door and pay them on the spot to the owner who had been waiting in their car, but have been so angry at the unprofessional and inappropriateness of the visit I procrastinated writing this review. The contract does say payment due upon completion of job and I had the check ready the day of the work. I took off that day to be there. They didn't return MY calls to them and the Friday afternoon call which was about payment had been just hours before. I have other work to be done but will absolutely not deal with anyone who would show up like thugs at 930 Friday night, but I assume no love is lost as they clearly don't trust their clients and felt the need to track me down. So, the work looks very solid, but the business side doesn't work for me.

My only criticism is he used a very white mortar to point and patch an existing masonry wall. He should have colored the mortar to match the existing mortar. If you use him, keep this in mind on any masonry repair job and make sure his new work would standout so glaringly.

Scheduling was difficult. There was confusion between girl scheduling the work and the person to perform the work on more than one occassion. Once they came out and did the work, they did a great job.
They came out and looked at my front porch, but it turned out that the actual work that would be required would be over $600. This was not my expectation.

They did a great job. They repaired several loose bricks that were coming off of my front step/porch. They were able to use the existing bricks, and they were careful to color match the cement with what was already there. Once the job was finished, they came back and power washed the area that they worked on. Everything looks great. When I purchased the deal, I know that the job would cost more than just that amount, and the owner came out and gave me the estimate prior to starting the job. I believe that the price was reasonable. They did a good job and I'm happy to have the steps repaired.

Responded to 4 hours for $99 deal. Quickly realized that the 4 hours would provide very little useful work and received an estimate for the desired work. Agreed to have the work done, although the estimate was confusing and not as much work as I thought was actually going to be performed.I was informed that they were extremely busy and it would take a few months before they could start. When they did start, there was apparent office turnover and very poor communication as it took them an additional 2 weeks after the date they were about to start, and I had to be the one to maintain contact. If it rained, they simply did not show up, and did not notify me at the onset that this was how they operated.
Once they performed the work, the quality was excellent. However, I thought the job entailed more of the sidewalk, but they charge by square footage vs. an entire job. Thus, in order to fully complete the job, I needed an additional estimate, which turned out to be higher than the original price.
Our only problem was one of staying in contact. Often the phone was not answered and email took days to respond. My first appointment was missed and had to be rescheduled. Bill the owner claimed he had to replace his secretary. When I was able to talk with him directly everything went very smooth. He did the actual work and performed the job exactly as I had hoped.
This job was an Angie's List Big Deal - $99 for 2 people for 2 hours. They were punctual and very nice to deal with. They would have received all A's as the brick work seemed very good and I thought they also fixed a recurring water problem with this wall. However, it rained the next day and some of the base material still washed out. I contacted them twice and did not receive a response. Maybe they felt they were not responsible for this, but I feel they should have returned my call to discuss it with me. I would have even appreciated just some advice.

First scheduled visit was missed. We waited. Called and rescheduled for 3 weeks later. A few cracks in brickwork, and resetting some other pieces was done. But the color of the mortar was many shades lighter. Almond white vs dark gray. We'll have to chisel this out and redo the more visible areas. A cheap lesson for the future.
We had previously had a section of our interior brick wall removed in order to gain access to pipes behind the wall. The masonry company that took out the brick did not do a careful job nor did they save any of the bricks. I contacted BT Stone after I purchased a "deal" from them. Bill came out and looked at the wall and told me what would be involved. The original brick that would be needed was discontinued. I was not happy with what would be available so it was decided that they would take brick from another section of the wall and use that original brick in the area where the original problem was located. Then they used the new brick to replace the original brick but in a less conspicuous area. They did a great job and worked additional long hours to complete the work in one day.

Additionally, we had a large gap at the bottom of our outside brick steps and Bill had bricks cut and put in that area and he did not charge us for that work.

Bill and his entire team were extremely professional and easy to work with. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

We have some other minor work that also needs to be performed and we will be contacting them.
