Services performed 06/13/2020. Early on a Saturday there was no heat in master bath sink hot water and we assumed it was the water heater. Bucci & son (the son & his helper to be exact) had been out to clean our drains two days earlier on 06/11/2020 (see my separate review for that) and we were so pleased I called them again thinking the thermostat on the water heater was bad because it was a relatively new water heater. It was a Saturday but Bob again sent his son that afternoon. It turns out he traced it to a minor problem at the sink and refused to charge me or take payment of any type. It has been a long time since I have experienced this type of quality customer service that used to be standard business practice and wanted to Bob, his Son & their Helper know how appreciated it is. I will refer them whenever possible and will request their services in the future when needed.

For services performed 06/11/2020. Let me begin by saying I never write reviews but felt compelled to write this one. I usually do all my own plumbing and have cleaned out & snaked sewers several times because I could only find one plumber whose work and prices I trusted and he died 20 years ago. Our basement laundry floor drains were getting slow because the last time I cleaned them was in 2005. I did not have the time, inclination, or a truck to pick up an auger so decided I would give Angie's List members a try. On 06/09/2020, I sent requests to four (4) of their top rated sewer cleaning specialists but did not hear from 2, and heard from a third one weeks later. Bucci & Son were my last choice and added as a just in case after-thought. I cannot state how glad I am that I included them in my requests. Bob, the owner of Bucci & Son called me and left a message that same day stating they could take care of it on my time schedule. I did not return his call until early 06/11/2020. Bob quoted me a price that was more than fair and reasonable. I was apprehensive because the last plumber I paid to perform this on one of my rentals because it was an emergency quoted a price but it changed mid-job and he really stuck it to me. Bob sent his son & a helper out that afternoon to snake and hydro-wash the basement drains. To put it simply, they were courteous, quick, efficient, performed all the services I requested, answered all my questions, and did everything short of running a camera to demonstrate the cleaning was fully successful. They did not make a mess and cleaned up after themselves. I was so pleased with their work on the sewer that I discussed having them do work I wanted performed in the fall on my furnace boiler (I am highly displeased with the last "boiler expert" that worked on it.) I do think I have found a plumber again whose work and pricing I can trust. Interesting coincidence is the last one was also named Bob.

I found this plumber on Angie's list from my mother-in-law who lives in McKeesport and is moving into a new home. The utility tub would not turn off and he was there within the hour once she called. Not only did he fix this immediately, he replaced her shower head, gave her a gas line in to her stove so that she can convert it from electric to gas, fixed something on the water heater, and I think he did some other things as well. The price was extremely reasonable, he was pretty amazing and took a lot off my plate, since I really am not capable of doing these things. You will not be disappointed with this plumber.

They did the work for four and half hours. It was good and personable. Everything was good. It was excellent work and fixed the leak. I would used them again.

After a water main was fixed on our street, our system was full of grit and sand for several days. About a week after things were flushed out, the laundry tub began to clog. When we tried to clear it, it brought up large amounts of grit and sand. We called Bucci and Son and they came that day to fix things. They had to replace the drain from the kitchen and laundry tub into the main line, it was full of silt. Then they snaked out the main sewer line. The left everything working perfectly, cleaned up after themselves, and took time to explain what they needed to do before they did it. We have had Bucci and Son work on our plumbing for years and have Never needed to get any of it redone, even after many years passed. The have even fixed things other plumbers refused to even try fixing.

Bathroom leaked into kitchen below. Replaced all plumbing. Very punctual and professional. Had to come back to fix work, and came immediately the next day. A little expensive, but a nice guy who did a good job. I would hire him again

Our expansion tank blew off the hot water tank on a Friday night. We had to turn off the water to the house to prevent flooding. We contacted Bucci Plumbing's emergency service. They coudn't send anyone until Saturday morning. Our plumber arrived early, calling ahead to make sure we were available, and swiftly viewed the problem. He left to get parts and returned quickly, In about an hour he had removed the old tank, fixed the bad job done by a previous installer, and has a new tank properly installed. We have used Bucci for many years now, and None of their repairs has ever broken, caused problems for other contractors, or given us any cause to worry.

The work was done quickly, efficiently, and professionally. Bucci came out the same day and repaired the kitchen sink drain which had broken off at the sink drain. The repair was quick and very helpful. We are expecting family for the holiday weekened and needed our kitchen sink in excellent repair.

Great - quick replies, very accommodating and met all of my rushed deadlines. Most importantly they called me back and provided an estimate unlike 5 other plumbers I reached out to.

I was very worried about the removal of the tile and matching it as the house is over 60 years old. My fears were unfounded as Bob and his team matched the tile almost perfectly and it actually looked better when they were done. The process took a few days and they were always on time, friendly and extremely neat. I was very impressed at how well they cleaned up after tearing the wall out. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend this plumbing company.

We had chosen Bucci & Son because I had not received responses from any of our other choices. The work was done adequately but it had taken about an hour longer than they had quoted, with an additional man than had been suggested. This raised the price that we were quoted by nearly $200 and brought it to almost $1000 for four hours of labor. After it was complete, we finally spoke to our other choices and they said they would have done the job for a fraction of the price--$100-200 total.

Bucci and Son is our new go-to plumbing company. I called at 6 AM to request an appointment-- their answering service passed along my request and I received a call back by 9 AM. They were able to come to the house at around 10:30 that morning, and did a great job (at a reasonable price) with making sure that the gas dryer connection was tight and free of leaks. While they were here, they also took a look at our non-operating gas fireplace and provided a competitive estimate for repairing it. The plumber was very professional but also very friendly and informative. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Bucci plumbing came by on an early morning to fit my schedule. The plumber assessed the situation, gave me a price, and promised to be in the next day. All the work was done, and looks great. <br />

<p>Bob was prompt in showing up to assess what was needed and provide an estimate. The work was done before lunch and received approval by the inspector when he arrived later. Bob called me when the work was done and waited until I got there so I could lock up. The hole I cut for the sink in the laminate countertop Bob said wasn't big enough and he cut that larger for me without adding any charge from the estimate. The sink he put in I had picked up from Money Mike's for $10 and it included the kitchen sink style faucet so the fact that I got that installed and mounted in the cabinet I bought was an additional benefit. Of course, buying it that way, it didn't include all the extra parts you normally get. I picked up a universal drain for it from Lowes and Bob put the whole thing together.</p> <p>I'm looking forward to putting up new sheetrock, gaining extra square footage because Bob capped the old fixtures behind the wall. </p> <p>The new fixtures and caps used look really nice. </p> <br />

They did a very good job, I am very satisfied and the price was comparable. They took care of the leak from the second floor to the first floor as well as replace the hot cold valves.
