Not well. Sonny is very personable, but the some of person responsible for doing the work are irresponsible, unskilled and unprofessional. I first called Sonny to replace my kitchen floor but the men who showed up to do the job, refused to do it because they did not want to move the appliances. I hired another company to do the job. When it came time to patch my hardwood floor from where a floor furnace had been, I gave them another chance. As usual, Sonny was very polite and professional. The day of the repair some men showed up and put in the new wood which I supplied. The next step was to get it sanded and finished. I made the mistake of having paid for the job on the first day. Then for each of the next 3 days someone was to come out and finish the job. I waited each of the days no one showed and no one called. I repeated called Sonny, but no one answered and I could not leave a message because the machine was always full of messages. Finally, I called every 15 minutes for 2 or 3 hours and got a call back. A schedule was made to finish it. The man who came did not just sand the new wood, but arched out into the old wood in a vary disorganized way. I asked if he was going to come back and he said he wasn't scheduled to. I then made repeated calls to Sonny explaining the condition of the floor and he agreed to have the man come out and fix it today. So far I have waited 5 hours and no one has showed and Sonny is not returning my calls (I've made about 6). I will need to hire someone else to fix the floor.

Job was well done. Easy to schedule; work performed within about a week after I accepted their bid. They were also flexible in rescheduling the job after some older flooring needed to be removed before they could install the new flooring material. I also appreciate the Contractor's willingness to come up with a low cost option as well as a higher-priced option, and let me decide what would best make sense for the room.

Sonny was pleasant, responsive, and answered all of my questions. His flexibility in terms of scheduling was a big plus. Sonny was easily reachable by phone but correspondence by e-mail as just as effective. Sonny's assistant, who performed the job, was professional, hard-working and took care to minimize dust exposure. Even though the job was relatively small, Sonny came by several times throughout the day to check on the progress and quality of the work. The job took approximately 2 1/2 days to complete and the result looks great!

Sonny came out to estimate the job the same day, and answered all my questions patiently and professionally. I had a good feeling about the quality of work he was going to perform, and I wasn't disappointed. His bid was competitive -- hundreds below other estimates. He and his crew are true professionals. They arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They finished the job on time, too. The quality of their work is top-drawer. The floors look fantastic. I tried to take photos of the floor, but they don't really show how beautiful the floors look.

Positives: Sonny was able to meet me for an estimate on very short notice. He was punctual and professional. He also worked hard to get the carpet out and floors done ASAP while I was out of town on vacation so that it was ready to move into when I returned. Sonny's was also the best of the three price quotes I got. Negatives. After redundantly stating that we wanted a purely matte finish, we came home to floors with a shine. Satin sealant was used when we wanted purely matte. My wife is heartbroken. Also, we came home and found a few doors left open/unlocked.

Extremely well! Efficient, professional, thorough. Other major issues were identified in the process, and Mr. Perkins and his team handled them with great care and relative ease. He was also true to his original estimate, which needless to say is very important.

Sonny Perkins is the best. He is patient and thorough, helped us consider options, and suggested that we move out until the rooms were dry and chemical odors dissipated. He was recommended by the contractor who was repairing the outside walls and surfaces where the water entered. Sonny coordinated with the contractor and returned several times to adjust the drying machines and bring carpet samples. He went out of his way to find the same carpeting that had been installed 9 years ago. Sonny's prices were very reasonable and the carpet installation is perfect. He and his crew were very careful of our safety, and they went beyond the usual workmen in cleaning up as they worked. We have already engaged him for another small project for padding to protect a large area rug on wood floor in the living room. We have also given his name to our friends who plan to re-carpet several rooms.

Sonny listened carefully and considered our needs, and he advised us about what he thought would work best for our floor in a home we just bought. He did a great job matching wood where the floor needed repairs. He took care to keep the dust to a minimum. He responded quickly to our needs and worked quickly in a narrow time frame. The floor looks great. He also advised us about how to care for our floor. He is trustworthy and focused on the task. We are pleased with the work he and his team performed, and we would recommend him.
