Budget Appliance Repair did an outstanding job fixing my Maytag Washing Machine. The Technician, Alfredo called me and politely asked if I would want him to come by earlier than scheduled, we wholeheartedly agreed. He came by and did a great job diagnosing the problem, gave me the reasonable estimate, had the parts on hand, and repaired the machine quickly and thoroughly. He stayed while we ran a load of laundry to see if the problem was rectified, which it was. He offered advice for us going forward on the utilization of our machine. He did a great job, and we plan on calling their company again should we run into any appliance issues/problems.

A part was reconnected so I could use the machine temporarily and I was given an estimate to purchase a permanent fix. But given the age of the machine I decided to purchas a new washer.

I am a repeat customer. They were awesome as before. Polite and professional. Fixed it in no time. Would use again.

In less than an hour the repairman and his wife took the Kenmore refrigerator door off and found a plug that powers the fan had been pulled apart from ice buildup. I was also informed that my "Kenmore" was made in South Korea and required parts from the Korean brand.

I WON'T HIRE AGAIN. Leon did not fix it even after having manuals, parts lists, and parts sources and many hours. I was still charged! And worse the office manager gave me links to emails addresses that failed. And their web site is nonsense. ... She also told me the owner would contact me, NOT! And it's against policy, Leon would NOT install the new replacement GE Microwave when it comes to Lowe's est mid October.

It went well.  Service tech ran washer thru full cycle to assure good operations. <br />

I had a washing machine door latch break several of months ago (to the tune of over $200). Budget repaired it but at the time didn't correct the cause. When I asked them to come back because the washer was still shaking, Wendell pushed on the drum and immediately recognized that the shocks were bad. Wendell at Budget Appliance Repair is as good a technician as they come. And when the company realized the original repair did not correct the issue, they were very good about giving credit for the initial repair. I have used Budge Appliance Repair several times now for different appliances, and I have been very happy with the overall service. I would not hesitate to recommend them and use them again. <br />

Alfredo diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and installed the part after it arrived (3 weeks later). He was timely, professional, and friendly. He also repaired part of the copper water feed because of a faulty part. I have ice and filtered water from my fridge now. <br /> I see mixed reviews for this company - but so far BAR has been fine for repairing my refrigerator and dryer. I think people are taken aback by what it costs to fix things nowadays and some reviews reflect that. It's almost a given that when a plumber, electrician, computer tech, auto mechanic, or appliance tech touch your stuff it'll be in the ballpark of $100 to get started. Yeah pricey, but sometimes you just have to get on with it. <br />

I really didn?t expect this from an Angie list Vendor, Budget should not be on their name. I called for my dryer, made and appointment and the women told me next day at two o?clock  and will cost 75 dollars just for the repair man to show up which I agreed. The repairman (Alfredo) was on time, very courteous and professional. He looked at my dryer and with in 40 minutes he was done. It was a burnt electric plug that plugs into the wall outlet. I was happy and relieved but,!!!!!!, when he told me the price $282.72, I was astonished. He did not break down what he did on the receipt just wrote parts and labor $282.72.  I figure minus the 75 for showing up and the power cable he replaced could not be more that $50 that leaves $157.72 for tax and labor  ????? He was there for 40 minutes max!!!!! I?m dumbfounded Should be called Pricey appliance repair not budget. <br /> <br />

Scheduled appt for 1-3PM window, got a call even earlier than that. Once I directed him to my apt building, he signed in at the visitor station and I met him in the lobby. Friendly guy. Once inside the apartment, he went straight to work. I showed him the leak, he looked up fridge specs on his pad, and in ~30 minutes he had it fixed. I was only charged the default $85 "diagnostic fee" plus tax. <br />

CONSUMERS BEWARE!  The company charged a fee for the first appliance that the technician placed hands on and also charged a duplicate fee for a visual inspection (no hands on) for the second appliance.  Most importantly, the company does NOT give the senior citizens discount (as advertised) unless there is a repair performed. <br />

Everything went fine.  He needed some help removing the dryer (it is a stackable unit) because of a handicap railing was in the way.  My son was able to help him.  He put the dryer vent hose back on but it came off the next day or so, so I had to have him back out to fix that.  That was the only reason the company did not get a perfect score from me. <br />
