Budget Flooring

I just had budget flooring installed in my house. I shopped all over town and ended up in the budget flooring store where I was helped by the owner, Don. He was very patient and took the time to explain the different flooring options and pros and cons of each I don?t know how many samples I pulled out but it was a lot. He was so nice and explained to me how each was manufactured and how to tell a cheap floor from a good one. When I went into actually place my order, his daughter was there and was just as helpful. She had her adorable son with her. It?s such a great feeling to work with a family owned company. The installers just finished in my house and they were extremely friendly, professional, and obviously quite knowledgeable. They did an excellent job and had the upmost respect for my house. I really can?t say enough good things and would highly recommend budget flooring to anyone

We ordered carpet on Saturday afternoon. Don the owner came by that evening and measured. He ordered it out of Geargia that evening and it was installed a week and a half later. The guys that did the install were fast but efficient and even vacuumed after they were done. We are very happy with the service and quality of the carpet that we got from budget flooring. We will definitely use them in the future and will be reccomending them.

Went in and was instantly greeted by Mackensie who helped us pick out some samples to take home. Don came out to measure and we were put on the books quick for install! Job was completed in the timeframe given. The men who installed the floor were courteous and timely. Great experience. Will call for future jobs

It was a long and dirty project so if you think this is something that will be easy to live with while in progress your not being realistic. It took the better part of three weeks and you WILL need earplugs when they jackhammer out the old tile. The dust created was unbelievable and even though they cleaned up the mess they made during the work we still had a cleaning crew come in and "detail" the rooms after completion. They "worked around" us as we lived in the home while this job was in progress. Big items of furniture were covered with plastic but as has been said, it is a VERY dusty process. Included in the cost of this project is the installation was the cost of the tile being installed with a "diagonal" pattern. This means the tile is rotated so that the grouted seams will be continuous (within reason) from the back wall of the home to front door. This adds a cost to the project and I can't remember what percentage it was but if you have them do the work they will give you a duel estimate with and without this type of work.

Perfectly. Don (the owner) gave us a fair price and an honest and accurate timeline for the work involved. Every employee that I had interaction with was personable and professional. The end result is great. I will use this company again when I am ready to replace the rest of the carpeting in my home.

<p>Initially very professional, but later down right rude. I had wood floors installed upstairs, I was given a written estimate without a breakdown for the floor and my entryway stairs. The estimate was $10.000. As I have very little time to spare, I agreed to go ahead with the floor, but not the stairs. They did come on time and installed the floor in 2 days, but did a pathetic job  installing the corners of the baseboards and they did not even paint the baseboards before installation even though I just spent $7000 . They also did a pathetic job under the doors as there is an inch gap between the floor and the door jams. When I called them, after I made the full payment, to have them come to correct the floor, they said I will be contacted, but no one has ever called back. In the meantime I found someone else to do my stairs in half the price and he has done an immaculate job. However, when I called Budget Floor to order the wood, as I needed 2 more boxes to finish the stairs, he initially stated that "let the guy who is doing your stairs get the wood", meaning he did not want to sell me the wood since I am having someone else install the floor. When I asked him that if I came into your store to purchase just wood without installation, you are telling me that you will not just sell me the wood? A customer has to have installation from you as well? He then proceeded to say that his staff is working on ordering 2 boxes, but I was never contacted again. I had to look for 2 boxes of the wood I needed elsewhere which was a pain as I don't have much time on my hands. So my experience with Budget Floor, initially very professional until they get paid!! If I knew the guy who is doing my stairs before I had Budget Floor install the floors, I would have had him do the upstairs as well and get an immaculate end product with minimal hassle.</p> <br />

Budget Flooring followed through with everything they promised. My only complaint was that the installers failed to put up plastic sheeting when pulling up the tile which made an incredibly challenging job cleaning up. Other than that, the installation was flawless. I would definitely recommend Budget Flooring, but remember to request plastic sheeting!

The tile flooring looks great. The laminate flooring is coming along. We've used this company before.

Mario and his helper were excellent with the porcelain tile install in 2 bathrooms and laundry room. Very good at what they do and professional. Taylor did all the old carpet, baseboard, and door trim rip-out. He installed all new baseboards and door trims, and whole house laminate flooring, app 1600 sq. feet. He was very meticulous with his work and did an excellent job. I have had comments on how nice the house looks. Nicole, whom I have never physically met, attended to my questions at the office. She is very gracious and knowledgable about the product, and directs traffic around the shop extremely well. She was fun to talk to on the phone. <br /> I recommend Budget Flooring highly. I thought the price could not be beat by anyone else. They are honest, dependable, professional company. <br />

Wife passes by Budget Flooring each day going to and from work. Check out a couple of other flooring places. Like the look and price of Budget Flooring product. Looked up Budget Flooring using Angie's list, then paid them a visit. People at the store were helpful, allowed us to take several tiles home to see how they looked. Asked about and talked about tile vs. other flooring. Chose ceramic tile as the way to go. Arranged for a measurement and estimate. Once the measuring was completed the estimate was within $500 of our expected price based on our own measurements vs. tile cost. They could have done better at calling to ensure the appointment day for the start of the project. We took the initiative to call them a couple of days prior to set date, when confirming the date it did not sound like they were going to call us. Mario and his crew showed up 20 minutes early on the first day. Got to work did a good job of cleaning up as they worked. Mario left a few times during the course of three days of work. His crew spoke very little English, but knew their jobs and worked well without supervision. Nice bunch of guys. Got recommendations on grout sealing and a product to use. It worked great. Title looks great. Grout looks great. B rating - Second day they were about 45 minutes late, could possibly saved the partial last day of work if the second day had started on time. They did a good job of cleaning all through out, so I was surprised to find pencil shavings inside of a toilet tank. The shavings were discovered when they cause the valve to not seal and the toilet water come on and off to keep the tank full. A simple wipe with a hand fixed the problem. They did a good job of cleaning up the job site at the end of each day which caused surprise on our part to have had the shavings in the toilet issue. Still, I would recommend them to others and I would use them again myself for other flooring needs.

It was a pleasure doing business with Budget Flooring. The owner came out to the house to measure the three rooms that we had carpeted. The installers came on time to do the work. They moved the heavy furniture out of the way, took out the old carpet, installed the new carpet, and moved the furniture back in place. We were well pleased in all respects. <br />

I came into the store looking for an exact tile that was already in my house. One of the girls tried to match it as exact as possible, but she then told me if I could get the information on the tile, they may be able to get it. I called them back with the information and a day later she called me back telling me she could get the tile, the price of the tile, and even got me a sample of it so my husband and I could take it home and make sure it was a perfect match. It was! We were so pleased they found and could get the same time, we scheduled to had the owner, Don, come out and give us an estimate for the house. It felt personal that the owner actually came out and did his own measure, which I didn't feel with any other stores.His estimate was fairly priced and reasonably within our budget. They came out to install and everything turned out great! Their customer service was fast and efficient, even when it was busy, which was superior. It just showed me that they didn't just toss me out after they did my floor. <br /> This company is both trustworthy and reliable and I highly recommend them! I wouldn't have gone anyother place where you're treated like another customer; Here you're truly treated like part of a family. The girls were generous with helping, and truly care that people get what they want! <br /> I LOVE MY HOUSE, NOW THATS ITS COMPLETE! THANK YOU BUDGET! <br />

Budget Flooring was recommended to us by a friend. We went to the store and looked at the flooring. They were very helpful in the store. The owner came out to do the measurements and provided us with an estimate that was fair. We waited a few weeks for the flooring to arrive, which was expected. The removal of the carpeting went smooth the first day. When they started to break up the tile is when things took a turn for the worse. Rather than clean up and remove the tile they had broken up that day, they piled it up against the walls. We had a lot of tile and it got very messy. No effort was made to clean up at all at the end of each day. Once the tile and carpet were removed and the flooring being installed, things got a little better. There were 2 installers on the job. One of them had only been with the company for a short time and I'm not sure he was qualified to do the job, nor was he very professional. The other individual was very knowledgable and professional. Once the job was completed, I expected them to clean the flooring and remove as much of the tile dust from the floor and walls as possible I was told that I was responsible for the clean up. They suggested I hire a professional cleaning crew to clean up the mess. They went over portions of the floor once with a broom, which only moved the dust around and pushed it into the grooves of the new flooring. I guess my biggest disappointment was the lack of clean up after the job was done. It really took away all of the joy for us to see the floor, and walls so filthy when they left. I will probably use them again for carpet installation, but never again for tile removal. Their prices are good and they sell a good product. If they had presented us with beautiful floors, I probably would have rated them with an A, even with the bad things that happened along the way. The floors are beautiful and the price was fair, but the experience was bad. I rated them a C, but the overall experience was a D.
