Budget Movers

Do NOT. Use Budget Movers. Uber any circumstance. I blew 1000 bucks only for them to lose a bunch of my things, not take multiple items that were clearly marked to go, break my sectional couch, and STILL have the he temerity to ask for a good review. It was a three mile move. I wound up having to do more then a third of the move myself until 0630 the next morning, I had to leave a bunch of my things, and I couldn't get my cleaners in there because the move wasn't complete. You get even less than what you pay for. Don't do it to yourself

They were great. Arrived on time, got right on the job, Did a separate move to deliver appliances. Obviously very experienced and professional. I'd definitely use them again.

They were amazing. I am a return customer, used Budget Movers again in June 2020. The owner, Jonathan and Cole were so careful, thorough, efficient, helpful, friendly and professional. We had some confusion on my part, and Heather (office) and Jonathan communicated with me, and their flexibility and willingness to complete the job after a full day on another project was truly amazing. They should be charging more as they do so much and are so thorough and professional.

Wonderful! I’ve moved 22 times in as many years and this was the smoothest, most professional, friendly staff and experience I’ve ever had. They were fit, fast, efficient!! (No one smoked, no one was hung over, no one Was grumpy!) They moved me from a third floor walk up to a one level house (with a pick up/drop off in between) all items placed in appropriate rooms, in 4 hours! That includes wrapping furniture, load, unload, and drive time. I felt safe and that myself and my belongings were in great hands. I gave a big tip! Hire them. Don’t go anywhere else. Thank you Carlos, Rome, Will, and Heather! And Jonathan too!

Budget Movers deserves a 10 star rating! We are so happy to be sitting down to write this review and as our title indicates, we would be giving Jonathan, Kevin and Nick from Budget Movers a 10 star rating if that was an option. My husband and I moved 11 times in the 12 years we spent in the Navy, so we feel we are speaking from a great deal of “moving” experience. Normally, moving day was a day we dreaded, but Budget Movers made this move a positive experience for all involved! We hired Budget Movers to move many large, oversized and heavy furniture items from our Lake Oswego home to our Black Butte Ranch location. Jonathan and crew arrived promptly at 7 AM, had an organized truck with all the supplies needed, were well-groomed, pleasant, polite, upbeat and seemed very happy and excited to be helping us with our move. WOW! Before getting started, Jonathan walked through our home with us to assess what all they were going to be moving and listened to any area of concerns we might have. Then they went to work. First off, they laid down protective coverings on all the hardwood floors, carpets, thresholds and door trims. Then they proceeded to completely pad and wrap all items. Once that was done, we walked through the house with Jonathan and once again verified that all the items we were taking with us had indeed been padded & wrapped. Before they started to load the truck, they discussed among themselves what would be going on the truck first etc…and where. Three hours later we arrived at our Black Butte Ranch house. Similar to what we had done on the LO end of this move, we walked through the house to show Jonathan where everything was going to be placed. Once unloaded, unwrapped and in position, Jonathan asked us to make sure that everything looked good (correctly placed and undamaged). Jonathan even came prepared with a palette of wood toned pens/pencils incase any item had any small rubs or mars. To further complicate things, we had asked Budget Movers to take a bedroom set from the Black Butte Ranch house and deliver it back to our son, in Tigard, Oregon. That set was packed, padded, loaded and delivered three hours later. As they did with us, Jonathan & Kevin unloaded, unpacked, placed and confirmed with our son that all items had arrived safely. Our son was blown away by their upbeat professionalism. Needless to say, this was a long day for the guys at Budget Movers….but they were positive and professional the entire day. We have passed on the name and number of Budget Movers to our realtor so she can spread the word in her line of work….and we will continue to do as well. Simply put, Budget Movers was phenomenal! Jonathan (owner of Budget Moving) came out to my home to quote my move which I was appreciative of so he knew exactly what I had and he worked out a set quote that worked with my budget. He was very professional, courteous and just an overall sweet guy. The day of the move Jonathan and 3 other guys arrived on time and everything went fast and smoothly. 2 days later Jonathan and a mover arrived and unloaded my items just as smooth and fast as the first day. (All other movers quoted me a week or two for my items to arrive.) I've unpacked 90% of my boxes and so far not even one item was broken. One of my best friends will be following me to Cali in a couple of months and I have already recommended Budget Moving to her as they treated me so well. Thanks Jonathan!

Hector & Jeremy were thoroughly professional approaching our move. They knew what they were doing as they wrapped our various pieces of furniture for protection. They were friendly, considerate and helpful. Their energy and perseverance powering through our move--which involved narrow stairways--was admirable. We would work with them again in a heartbeat. They were so efficient that they completed our move in less than a full day's work.

They were very efficient with the time, they were also surprisingly upbeat and funny too! Let’s face it...Moving is awful, but these guys made it a truly enjoyable experience. They were respectful of my old and new residence. I used Budget movers last time I moved and it was another great experience. If you’re planning a move and don’t want to bug your friends to help move boxes and mattresses you really need to call budget movers.

Carlos M, Joe, and Spencer were the most professional and courteous crew of movers that I have had the pleasure to encounter. I have been moved eight times by moving companies in the past and this was the best experience by far.

The move was fast and easy!! Carlos and his coworker were extremely efficient, and everything made it to my new place unscathed. I will definitely use this company for my next move.

This company provides the best move experience I could imagine! I would absolutely hire them again (and this is my second time hiring them already) and recommend them to anyone. Our crew consisted of Carlos M., Antonio, and Rome, and I worked with Heather for scheduling. Communication is excellent, and the movers are kind, courteous, hard working, professional, and move your property with care. They package items safely and pack the truck securely. They also enjoyed working with each other which made for a very positive energy despite the hard work. We had to move during the recent heatwave with temperatures in the 90s, and these guys powered through with a smile on their face. More than anything, everyone at Budget Movers worked hard to make us feel taken care of and they succeeded in doing that. Moving is always stressful, but hiring Budget Movers is the best thing you can do to make your day go as smoothly as possible.

It was a rainy day so i was leaving room for that. When they packed us, we knew it would cost more but they only got half of our stuff and they had a giant truck. I had to leave early and go to the apartment and set up everything. I had little stickers on every box on where it needed to go. They kept asking where stuff went and i was like look on the box it says. We were using one of our bedrooms as a storage room, and i told them to think of it as storage but i needed to get into it. I think i have 7 layers so i would have to remove 7 layers to the ceiling instead of a u shape. I had to rebuy things because i cant get in there. We had to keep going back to our old place and loading up our car which was exactly why we hired movers to avoid that. We paid close to $2,000 and still had to keep going back and forth. They just assumed we were getting it. They broke one thing. They took care of the things they did get but did not get everything. They even came early.

It was the smoothest and quickest move I've ever had, and I've moved many times in my life. They were kind, professional, respectful and definitely worth hiring again if we ever move or know someone who needs help moving. Antonio, Davied, and Robert were great and Johnny of course is always so nice and accommodating.

Mychal and Jason were great! The company was also very responsive and helped get me movers the next day after the first company I had went with didn't make it.

<p>The company charges a 3 hour minimum but was done in about 2.5 hours. They sent 3 employees, who were courteous, professional and were able to fit all my things into the storage pod as I had requested.  It was a very hot day, but they got it all done in record time.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>I would reccommend them to anyone who is moving.  Moving is stressful enough as it is, but having such great guys to help me move was the best.  Thanks to Mychal, Mike and Jason who did a fantastic job for me.   </p>

They called first thing in morning. Let me know when they would be there. Checked what needed loaded and went right to work. Asked that they get all the big furniture because we could not lift and they did I what I asked. Very polite and friendly. Michael, Mychal and Jason were awesome. Would recommend to everyone
