Out of business 2 years after HVAC install? Cannot contact for HVAC issue...

Price is reasonable. They do quality work. They are responsive. The workers were very nice and very professional.

Warning - DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR.  Initially the work looked good, but problems started piling up soon after.  First, there was a missing fuse that kept the a/c from working - Steve overlooked that and had to come back out.  Then, he left the old furnace in the basement for weeks and I had to email to ask him to remove it.  He damaged the basement ceiling, stairs and trim trying to remove it, then told me he couldn't fit it out the door and would have to come back with more tools.  The day he was supposed to come back, he told me his work truck was broken into, his tools were stolen, and he was basically out of business and couldn't help me.  So, I had to pay another company to come remove the furnace.  Finally, when we tried to have the gas turned on, the gas company informed me that there was no shut off valve installed, which is required to initiate service.  Now I'm stuck trying to find another company to repair the work Builder's did.  What a nightmare! <br />

I could not be more pleased with the service performed by Builders Heating and Cooling. From the initial phone call to the final installation, Steve was responsive, punctual, and professional. He showed up when he said he would, corresponded when he said he would, and completed the work in the estimated time frame. I felt more than comfortable having him in my home and am confident in the product installed and the workmanship provided. I would not hesitate to recommend Builders Heating and Cooling to family and friends. <br />

Mike & Steve are great.  Super responsive and communicate very well as to the time they will arrive.  Quality work and couldn't be happier.  They will be my "Go-To" provider for all my HVAC moving forward. <br />

I had very good experience with Steve and him team. They answered my call quickly and did a free estimation on the project. They recommended the same system as homedepot service team but only on 60% of the homedepot price. The installation was quick and professional and I am very happy with their work

Steve was very quick to return calls, answer questions, provide quotes and help in our decision making process. He reviewed what we needed and was helpful in working through different options with us to provide what both met out need and budget. At no time did we feel rushed or pushed in making our decision. Once we decided it was just under a week before they were out installing the unit. Whole system took about two hours to install. The crew was professional, cleaned up well and took care of things I nick picked about without any fuss. We've been using the unit now for a couple months without issue and are very happy. <br />

Great experience from start to finish. The manager Steve came over just a couple days after initial contact, and was able to recommend a great system for my house. Within a week of sending back the signed contact Steve and his crew were out installing the new units. It took less time than he guessed and he even pointed out vent issues that I might want to look at to make everything more efficient. <br /> Definitely give these guys a call if you're in the market for some new HVAC. <br />

<p> After getting five estimates from local companies, Builders Heating and Cooling were by far the cheapest and I received the top of the line equipment. Steve and Mike were very courteous and professional in what they do. They explain to me everything that they were going to do from start to finish. I was very surprised on how neat the installation turned out and how quickly it was installed. They removed all the old equipment and cleaned up there mess ( and some of mine). Once they were finished, they took there time to explain to me how everything operated. I am very happy that I contacted Builders Heating and Cooling, I will refer them to anyone that wants a great heating and cooling system for a very reasonable price. From start to finish this was a smooth process. When I called I spoke to the Manager, Steve Schultz, we set up an appointment and Steve was right on time as promised. The estimate Steve gave me was far less then the previous two estimates I received but was for similar equipment. I went with Steve's estimate and I'm happy I did. Steve and his crew showed up on time on installation day and wasted no time getting started, they were very courteous and treated my home with respect. Steve originally gave me a time frame of 3 to 4 hours for the install but they worked very quickly and efficiently and were done in about 2 1/2 hours. The old furnace and central air were removed and hauled away. The basement area was left clean after they were done. When the job was complete Steve reviewed everything thing they did and answered all my questions, he also went over the warranty information and how I should register online. I did that as soon as they left. The furnace has been working great and I even like the look of it. I would highly recommend Steve and his company if your looking for a new furnace and central air. <br />

Their performance was fine. I picked them because their pricing was very good compared to the other service providers that I had received quotes from.

As a result of an electrical power surge following a power outage our heat pump compressor and components were damaged and needed immediate replacement. We called for an estimate and received an immediate response form Bob Schultz. He was able to come to the house, inspect our damaged equipment and provided an immediate estimate for a replacement. The estimate was faxed to our insuranace company on Saturday and I had a response and approval from the insurance company on the following Monday. I conatcted Bob Schultz and he advised he would order the replacement units and would be able to install them in one day. Bob called us on tuesday and scheduled an installation for wednesday morning. Bob and his crew of two sons arrived first thing wednesday morning along with the replacement units. they were on time, neat, professional and completed the installation by early afternoon. They delivered their equipment and provided the installation as advertised with the utmost professionalism. They andwered all of our questions and provided onsite training on all of the installed equipment. They removed all of the old equipment and cleaned up all of the debris from the removal and installation. It was a custom installation to our overwhelming satisfaction. I would highly recommend this conpany and individual to anyone considering a repair or replacement. I could not be more pleased with their professional services. They took precautions by covering the flooring and all work surfaces so as not to do any damage or make any mess. They went above and beyond any expectations.
