Jimmy and his crew installed a mini-split duct-ed system for me. The experience was first class beginning to end. I highly recommend Bull City HVAC.

He did not try to up sell. Fair price, fair assessment. He comes in on time. I have referred him to other people.

Did not check for the reason coolant was low. Although, very professional and timely, I did not feel that they were interested in why the unit was low on coolant. They tried to convince me that the unit was outdated and needed to be replaced. I feel that they were more interested in selling rather than repairing.

Decide to go with them because they are a local business. We worked with Jimmy and Juan. It was a pleasant experience with both of them. Jimmy was a great educator and he gave us many helpful tips and how to tell if things are going wrong. Juan was courteous and very nice. He showed up and got the work done on time. Will definitely work with them again.

It took several days to get part in but I was told that up front. Once it came in they came out to install it after 5 so we could have heat that evening.

Excellent. Service Representative was joined by Owner. They were professional, polite, knowledgeable, and explained in such manner that could be understood. I will definitely use this company for future work.

Called Jimmy Johnson for quote based on diagnosis of leaking evaporator coil by a different service firm. I sent him a picture of the label on my air handling unit so he could price the correct coil. He was very responsive and returned a quote by email by the end of the day. The cost seemed reasonable and I authorized the work. He ordered the coil and we scheduled a convenient time that Friday to do the work. His partner, Hardy, showed up to do the work. He was knowledgeable and professional and answered various questions I had. The quote estimated four hours of labor, but Hardy was done in just over three. He was unable to make adjustment to the labor charge, which I understood as he had no way to do any other work in that hour that was allotted. But, he was able to recover much of the refrigerant, so that I only needed four additional pounds at $45 per pound. The system worked great when he was done.

I had another come out and service my furnace and when I did that they came up with like $1200 worth of work. So what I did, I thought I would get a second quote. So, a friend of mine told me about Bull City Heating & Air, so I called them and I told them exactly what the other one told me. They went under and basically said there was no problem. There was a switch or a turn that had to be tightened, so they tightened it. There was something else that needed to be replaced and they said "No it didn't need to, it had a little rust." They kind of got the rust off and basically said it was fine. So, they saved me all kinds of money. It was excellent and I decided right there, I am using them for now on. I think they are just in the ballpark with everyone else for price. It's not like they are the highest or the lowest. I don't remember that kind of thing. They didn't break the bank, which is nice.

It took about 4 full days to complete the install and one trip back to check something we had a question about. And then we got a call about 30 days later to be sure everything was working OK. We would hire Jimmy Johnson again in a heartbeat and will use him to provide any service to our units.

They did a good job. They answered the call on Saturday and was out on Monday. They responded on a weekend and they were quick to come out.

They did a great job. For the central air unit, he explained the different levels versus cost and what would be most appropriate for the house (and best brand for the house). For the cleaning, he found a couple of situations that are minor but asked me if I would like to replace the parts. The changes were minor but he explained why, over time, it would probably be best to replace the part earlier rather than later.

Jimmy was great !!! I'd highly recommend him to anyone needing HVAC work. This guys knows his stuff and is very clean and conscientious while onsite.
