It went very well. The tech did good work and he was fairly priced. He took out a tree in the front. He also trimmed a bunch of trees in the back and took down a tree in the back also.

He was good about calling initially and writing up a proposal.  However, he forgot about it or something of that nature because of instead of taking 1-2 weeks as he promised it took over a month.  And, I had to keep calling him to remind him because he kept forgetting.  He was very nice but somehow I think my job was getting lost in the shuffle.  When the guy came to do the work, I didn't know he was coming and he just showed up.  Luckily I was home.  He ground the stumps.There was a problem with one of them and the owner was going to check on it and get back to me.  The owner never got back to me on the decision and the worker just told me it couldn't be done.  That upset me since I had questions about it but the owner was not there.  Also, all the chips were left.  I told him I wanted them removed, but I the worker said it would cost extra.  I had assumed they would be taking them.  I wish he had asked me about this so I could have prepared. <br /> All in all, the job was done appropriately and the worker did clean up.  However, I was dissatisfied with the management of the job. <br /> <br />

We had a good feeling about this company to start. The owner was friendly, we knew they had done work in the area, and we felt confident about that. Unfortunately, that confidence did not remain. Ultimately, four out of six trees were removed from our property. At the end of day one, we didn't feel confident in having Bumblebee return to complete the job. <br /> It was concerning that the workers didn't wear safety goggles or helmets, etc. but they got to work quickly, and I figured they were professionals. At least two of the workers smoked throughout the day. I didn't appreciate the smoking on my property, and I wouldn't expect that from any professional we hire. A large crane they used for this job left a few 6-inch impressions on our front lawn, which were later filled by Bumblebee with topsoil. The chain saws left some scratches on our driveway where they were cutting up large pieces that were lowered. Several large pieces (about four-foot long and eight inches wide) were dropped from high up. Extremely large trunks were placed in our driveway and were laying directly in our garden and on our front bushes. <br /> Prior to agreeing to the job, we requested certificates of General Liability and Worker's Comp Insurance. General Liability was provided directly by the insurance agency and was acceptable, but the owner dropped off a copy of a worker's comp certificate from a previous job. We learned at the end of day one that the policy was not valid. When we brought this to the owner's attention he did immediately remedy the situation by visiting his insurance agency the next morning and getting that coverage squared away, which was appreciated. The Bumblebee website also features logos for ISA Certified Arborist and makes mention of their licensed arborists. We requested the license and certification numbers, but never received them. <br /> Our confidence was diminished at this point, and we did not have them return to finish the work. Bumblebee invoiced us for the four trees that they did remove, and we paid them. <br />

The flat roof below one of the pruned trees was punctured in three places. The winter freeze delayed the problem becoming noticeable. When the outside temperature rose, water starting leaking into the house. The ceiling and walls in the guest room are damage resulting in a repair estimated at up to $1000. The puncture damage was confirmed by another Angie's List vendor as being caused by an angled puncture that would not have occurred by a naturally falling branch. Every time I call Bumblebee to discuss I get voice mail. I request a refund and compensation for the damage. <br />

I wanted some other work done in my yard for the big deal, but a tree that was leaning pretty badly was noticed by the owner of Bumblebee and he suggested that it should be taken care of first before it fell down and destroyed something. <br />

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out fine. Their price was good. They came in at a different day.

It took well over a month or so for the service to be performed, however, once they were able to come out, they provided a professional service. I was pleased with the results.

They called as set up a time, and arrived when scheduled.  Made short work of the trees and cleaned up after themselves.  I would highly recommend this company for tree service.

I had purchased big deal for 400 dollars of service for 199. When I had the visit from the service, the big deal only covered trimming 2 trees..and then we proceeded to look at other work that totaled 400 more dollars (including a full tree cut and removal!). When I questioned the cost, there was a bit of hassle, but overall we came to an agreement on price and despite a bit of delay in service due to weather, once the service was performed they did a great job.

HE did not come out time, then he came out gave me an est, and then he emailed me that truck broke down, and never heard from him again. He doesn't want to do the work would like my money back PLEASE $199.00 AND I WOULD GIVE HIM AN "F"

They arrives on time, worked very quickly and cleaned up very well after the trees were down. <br />

Punctual, but some work was sloppy and needed to be redone. <br />

They overall did an excellent job.  I am very pleased.  They arrived at 9:00 AM and were done by 9:30AM.  You would never know they were here, except for the excellent job they did to my tree and shrubs. <br /> Very reasonable price. <br /> I would recommend their service to anyone.  I will definitely call them again should I need anything done in the future. <br /> Thank you, Mr. Karamisakis! <br />
