I've used them for years so I've not had any issues with them, they're always reliable and they do everything they are supposed to so I don't know.

I know realistically that was probably an accurate price. They were fine with responsiveness and professionalism.

<p>We noticed around 10am that something was wrong with our AC unit.  I called Burkett HVAC, which promptly answered.  They said they could have someone at our house by 11am.  The tech, Ray, showed up at 10:40 (AWESOME! It was a balmy 85 degrees in our house by this point!).   Ray was very nice in explaining what was wrong and the required fix.  Ray worked quickly and was finished in under 90 minutes (even with him answering my husband's hundred questions!)  Definitely will use this company in the future.  Thanks for making this such a pleasant process!</p> <br />

<strong>Previous to furnace purchase,</strong> <br /> <strong>Almost 20 years of prompt, reliable service</strong> <strong>by Burkett for maintenance of old furnace at home, incl. several  late-night wintertime / emergency  repairs.<br /> There was no push by Burkett to buy a new furnace - owner's decision -  and several options & prices for a new furnace were given, according to the home's  space & needs, and what was affordable for family.<br /> </strong> <br />

Responded quickly to come to my home to check my system.  <br /> Gave me options and answered all of my questions.  Provided estimates for two options. <br /> When I called to schedule the install they were very professional and took the time to go over any additional questions. <br /> The arrived on time, installers were very polite and careful.  My furnace room is in my laundry and a big tarp was used to cover hallway carpeting, they also left the area clean and removed all old fixtures and any misc. parts. <br /> Would definitely recommend them. <br /> <br />

Glenn Burkett was over to the house 2 separate times; going over options for installation and possible combination of units. <br /> Mr. Burkett provided several estimates via email. We chose the one which had a lightly used heat pump and a 'scratch and dent' furnace. The heat pump is top of the line and the furnace is next one from the top. We saw it as a good value for our situation. <br /> From the time estimate was accepted until time of installation was approximately 2 weeks. It was 2 days for install. At the end of the first day, they left the furnace functional so we could use it over night. <br /> Final cost was exactly the estimate. Approximate cost of service does not include sales tax. <br /> Installers were courteous and professional. They were at my home between 8:10 am and 8:30 am both days. There were 3 installers the first day and 2 the next day. <br /> The 2nd day of installation, it was raining outside and we wanted to limit the mud tracking inside the house. They responded positively and laid down tarps to walk on from the kitchen entrance all the way down to the utility room in the basement. That was greatly appreciated. <br /> Installers had to cut 2 holes in the ceiling of the basement closet (dry wall) to install a new 3" exhaust for the furnace and a new refrigeration line. During the initial walk downs with Glenn Burkett, he mentioned that (2) 3" lines would have to be put in. One for exhaust and one for combustion air. The installers found that only one 3" line could be installed due to limited space in the overhead. I will have to revisit the combustion line with installers to ensure our furnace is performing at highest efficiency. <br /> We plan on using Burkett HVAC again for equipment maintenance and fireplace remodel. <br />

I was not happy with my past provider and called Burkett. A person, not a machine, answered the phone on the holiday. They called a repairman from his home to come and help me out. He was great. I didn't like cost but it was fair and comparable to others. I'm just ....frugal. Burkett is my new provider.

MIGHT use this provider again.   If we used them again, we might ask for a different individual, with possibly more experience.

My 86 year old parents live in the home and the furnace stopped working.  I live more than 1000 miles away.  My Home Warranty folks let me down and couldn't find a Service Provider in the area.  After more than a day without heat - I called Burkett late in the afternoon - they showed up at 8:00 that evening and got it up and running! <br /> <br />

service went great.  They were very thorough and informative.

Very reliable and informative.  Charged what they quoted me.  Left the area clean and tidy.  Disposed of old furnace and water heater for free. <br />

They did an excellent job.

Prior to bedtime one evening, our carbon monoxide alarm began sounding.  We called emergency services which later found that we did have a CO leak coming from our furnace.  After a service call, the technician noted it was not serviceable and recommended a new furnace (service not performed by Burkett). <br />  We had three different HVAC retailers provide quotes on a new furnace.  Fortunately, we turned to Angie's List to find Burkett a top rated HVAC provider, otherwise, we would not likely have called them.  Due to the top ratings, we decided to invite them to quote.  Most quotes were fairly similar across three different brands (the Trane we purchased was in the middle of all prices).  We were most impressed with Burkett's detail and explanation of their assessment.  The servicer thoroughly explained the process they would use and why they would use it.  They were also the quickest to respond which was important since temperatures were dropping and we would need a new furnace quickly. <br />  After we selected the Trane from Burkett, they showed up on time, installed the new furnace and cleaned up after themselves when finished.  Service was quick, clean and complete. <br /> The new furnace is quiet and working great. <br /> We will not hesitate to use Burkett for service or new products in the future. <br /> <br />

Burkett performed a new install of an A/C system for our home. They were open minded enough to take my recommendation to relocate the air handler to a more accessible location instead of the center of the attic (awfull). They also removed the old air handler from the attic where other that quoted the job felt it was not nessesary. A nasty job.Very pleased with the expirience.

They were prompt and efficient. Mr. Burkett showed a good knowledge of the product options available to us and suggested a furnace that met our needs. He did not recommend unnecessary upgrades.

Great.  I would not hesitate to recommend Burkett's.  The installation team was outstanding.  Glenn was great on follow-up, inspections, etc.

Came in, let me know what their plan was and then headed off to the equipment in the basement to tune up my furance.  They were only here for about an hour and then let me know I could reach them anytime day or night should I do have any problems.

they came out and did an evalauation on our home, gave me several options. They explained what would meet my needs what they could do to save me some energy dollars over the coming years. they came out and installed the equipment and finished on time and kept my home neat and clean in the process.
