We started in May and he completed in mid September. Around mid December, we would wipe our cabinets and little chips would start coming off. He was kind enough to give me the paint information, but I’m leaving it alone because I don’t feel comfortable enough to do that service. In the seams of the cabinet, the paint separated as well, which I don't think is normal. Also, when they taped my hardwood floors to keep the paint off of them, they pulled up the refinish when they tore the tape off. They didn't really offer to resolve the problem. A few of the cabinets are not aligned and a little crooked. I have been trying to reach him for the past 5 weeks. We've made 2 appointments for him to come out to check on things, but he failed to show up. He does not answer or return my phone calls. I even missed 2 days of work for those 2 appointments.

They came out once because the drawer fronts were not the same as some of the other drawers. Also one of the drawers is crooked. He is not taking my calls and he is not responding to my text messages. One of the people he had working with them was very rude with my husband. He asked when the job was going to be done and the worker said when we stopped making changes. We didn't make any changes. My husband simply asked him a question. They came on a Wednesday and we couldn't use our kitchen for a whole weekend. They could have come on a Monday and finished on a Friday. They started on Wednesday and didn't finish until the following Friday. They did not follow through. They didn't paint it properly and we wanted it done properly. I had him come out two years ago to give me a price but I didn't use him that time. I have left voicemails and text messages and he is not responding at all. He did what he wanted to do and not what we discussed. He didn't even order the doors until he started the job. We were completely unhappy with that.

The work went well. They were professional and came on time. They did the work in a timely fashion as well. They were a bit expensive. There was one cabinet that needed some touch up and I had to call them several times.

Nick and his team were great. They removed all the doors and refinished them at their shop. The balance of my cabinets were cleaned, sanded and repaired as necessary. Our center island was enhanced with trim and baseboard. The cabinets, and the entire room was taped, and sealed off for the spraying. The finished product is more than I expected. The cabinets look great.
Called Nick and he came out within a day to give me an estimate. I told him over the phone what I had in mind and he brought samples of his work and described the process in detail. Surprisingly (to both of us), he was able to start work within a few days. He and Mark came on a Thursday to remove cabinet doors and hardware. They take the doors to their shop for refinishing and bring them back and replace on the last day of work. The following Monday, right on time as promised, Steve, Stevie, Mark, and Nick began work. And as promised, they finished up on Friday. The majority of the the time was spent wrapping the entire kitchen in plastic. The amount of prep work was incredible. I did lose use of my kitchen for one evening but that was because cat hair kept getting on the newly painted surfaces so the kitchen was blocked with plastic to keep the little shedders out. They removed the microwave and placed it in the laundry room so I could use it and unwrapped the refrigerator so at least I could get to it. Steve and Stevie make a great team and really knew what they were doing. Overall, it was a great experience with a wonderful outcome.
Nick came the house to give us the estimate; he was very knowledgeable and gave us some great ideas. He was very professional and personable from start to finish. The cabinets are so very smooth that you cannot tell that this is not the original finish. They were very meticulous about taping and using plastic to protect from painting anything that shouldn't be painted. They cleaned up after each day.
They only take checks which made me a little nervous at first because I like the protection of using a credit card. But there was nothing to worry about.

Nick's quality and attention to detail was amazing. He made many suggestions that I would not have thought of so that the whole kitchen remodel was top notch, not just his work responsibility. He tried to keep the sanding dust and paint overspray to a minimum by covering everything with plastic sheeting; and even used an exhaust fan.
The result truly looks like I bought brand new cabinets. The finish is hard and smooth to the touch. The new doors make the kitchen, so I would highly recommend everyone consider this additional cost which was not significant if weighed against new cabinets! To know that the glazing was done "free hand" by his glazer is hard to believe by looking at the work on the crown molding, doors, light rail and corbels. The prep work took a couple of days with the painting a couple more, the glazing of the boxes one day and the clear coat another day. They did the doors at the shop. So overall it was about a week and half process.
This was a far more cost effective approach then cabinet refacing. And I believe Nick actually wants your kitchen to turn out great - where I felt the refacing firms were just after "a sale". I am happy to have anyone come and see Nicks work to help you make up your mind to use his firm. If he ever has to time to finish his website, my before and after pics will be there!

They came out and estimated the job and stuck to their estimate. They arrived when expected and provided excellent service. the project began with them removing and picking up 75 door and drawer fronts and taking them to their shop. Once there they refinished them and that process took about 14 days due to number of items to refinish. The onsite took about 7 days due to the size of the project. They were very careful and spent a great deal of time making sure they prepared the areas so that the finish would be a factory finish and to minimize any overspray or intrusion into other areas of the home.

The finish was excellent and the quality of the finish is superior. We are very pleased!

We had to make sure to keep our pets out of the area at the end of each day. That was a challenge but nothing that Cabinet King could control.

Excellent experience. Nick was very professional from the initial bid meeting through completion of the job. Simply stated, Cabinet King delivered an exceptional quality service. I had previously attempted to paint the cabinets myself & was told by other companies that I had basically ruined them. The process used by Cabinet King produced amazing results and the job was completed ahead of schedule.
